Stand by for that. The bryants died last month in a Helicopter Crash along with seven other passengers. In his final game of his career he scored 60 points. After he spoke to his adoring fans and thanked his family for support. To my family, my wife vanessa, our daughters, thank you for all your sacrifice, for all the hours i spend in the gym working and training and vanessa you holding down the family the way i have, i cant theres no way i can thank you enough for that. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. What can i say . Mamba out. The mic has been dropped. Joining me is Steve Patterson live outside the Staple Center in los angeles. If those were live pictures i was seeing large numbers of people streaming in. For Something Like this staples holds about 20,000 . 20,000. Filled to capacity. The 20,000 that were lucky enough out of a pool of about 0 80,000 applying online. Ten minutes ago you would have scene a parade of gold and purple waiting to get in. Most of the folks have crowded in. Theres a feed of whats happening inside there right in front of me. Its a big crowd gathered around soaked in a purple spotlight. Spectacular sight. What we expect is a celebration of life. Kobe bryants wife wanted it to be a celebration, of course, the atmosphere is sour, a bit dower, but its secelebratory. Big name acts are going to be performing. First we want to talk about the date. 224 20. That was hand picked by Vanessa Bryant. Its important to the Bryant Family and the Lakers Organization, representing gee ya gianna, and representing 24 his number. And 20 representing his marriage to to vanessa, inside, we have no idea. The performers are sworn to secrecy. All the people, the 20,000 strong that just filtered into the center, they really have no idea what theyre about to see. Another atmosphere of charged excitement as the performers and the speakers take the stage. We obviously know the Lakers Organization is going to be here. Some of the players kobe bryant mentored is going to be here. Were not sure if the family will show up and choose to make an appearance. We know this is billed as a celebration. Thats what fans are going to get. The ones that were lucky enough to get inside. Steve, thank you for that. Were going to carry that entire remembrance live here on msnbc. And so stay tuned. It was scheduled to start at the top of the hour. Obviously they were still getting people in. Theyre getting them settled. Well have that for you when it begins. We have the other big breaking story today. Harvey weinstein convicted on two of the five counts he faced. Accusations that spawned the me too movement. And a verdict closely watched to gauge the future of the movement. Weinstein was found guilty on count 2 of criminal sexual act in the first degree and on count five, rape in the first degree. The manhattan county attorney addressed the survivors. I owe and we all owe an immense debt to you. You had the courage beyond measure to speak your story to the world to this courtroom at great personal risk and again great personal pain. To those of us who were privileged to be in the courtroom when they testified, you know what i mean. These survivors werent just brave. They were heroic. Lets go live to one of weinsteins attorneys. He was a gentleman. He was fine. He was very stoic and powerful as he could be under those circumstances. Hes got two little kids. Thats on the front of his mind. Im happy he was home this weekend with them. Where will you go from here . We asked and the judge granted for him to go to a medical facility which is a very different treatment for him. A medical facility. As i said, over the weekend, appellate lawyers who previewed the transcript you will appeal . Absolutely. That actually was taped, and i was watching it just a few minutes ago. And what he was about to say as sure as i am bald, we will be appealing this. I want to bring in ron allen outside the courthouse, ari melbourne is near. Cynthia oxney, lets set the scene if you will, ron. What can you tell us about what happened inside that courtroom today . An amazing scene, chris. Just a moment in history. Advocates for women and survivo survivors, these were difficult cases to prosecute going into them. The da was under enormous pressure to bring these cases forward. They were complicated as weve been saying because the two main accusers maintained relationships, complicated relationships with wine teen after the criminal acts happened. But the jury focussed on what happened. Assault is assault whether it happens in a dark alley or a relationship. Thats the rubicon they crossed to find him guilty on the two charges. Charges that could send him to prison from five to 25 years which for a 67yearold man is a significant amount of time. And, of course, he still feys similar allegations, similar charges in los angeles in the weeks to come. Just an amazing scene outside of the courtroom as well. Weinsteins attorneys are saying theyre going to appeal. That throughout the whole process he kept saying i didnt do this. I didnt do this but of course now he faces 5 to 25 years in prison at least with more possibly coming with additional charges, new charges out in los angeles. Ron allen, thank you for that. Theres no doubt this is one of the most closely watched verdicts weve seen in a long time. What would this mean for the me too movement . Ari, i was talking to a friend who has prosecuted a number of sexual say salt cases. She thought it was a difficult case. She thought it was going to tell us a lot about where we are in terms of how we look at Sexual Assault. Knowing how tough this case was viewed by a lot of folks and they got two guilty verdicts, whats the impact Going Forward on prosecutors being willing to prosecute these types of cases . One impact is prosecutors saying juries that are supposed to be a check in the system, however imperfect, juries are willing to hear this kind of evidence, to understand what the prosecutor himself called a complicated fact pattern and still figure out what happened in that instance and not just impugning witnesses or accusers who become victims when their testimony is credible but taking it all and moving forward. Thats number one. Number two, mHarvey Weinstein i in jail today awaiting sentencing. Would be five years or more. Thats a huge shift. He is not your average or random individual. Everyone understands he is both a powerful individual who fought hard who attacked these people, and the person the case that started it all. So the law is a lot of times about stories. Everyone knows the story started with him. Now his story includes going to jail today, going to prison for this, and awaiting the further charges . Let me ask you about the further charges. How will that work . Will he physically go to the west coast . When might that happen . Whats the progress that happens after this . California was waiting on this case to be resolved for trial. They have the charges filed. Typically defendants have a right to be present to face accusers even if theyre being held in a different system. We would expect after sentencing even as the appeals process moves forward in new york that california can pick it up. Ari, thank you. Were looking forward to your show tonight as we always are, but in particular, cynthia oxney, the other part, what does it mean to prosecutors . What would it mean to the me too movement . There was a lot of nervousness i heard from folks about if there were no guilty verdicts, would that set the movement back . But now you have two verdicts. And i thought you had a very powerful statement by cy vance about the message. What rape is is much more broadly defined. What Sexual Assault is, what jurors will look at. What do you see as the impact on women who have been or sadly in the future will be saexually assaulted or rape . I think this is a huge win for the prosecution and for rape victims everywhere. It says we can believe you. Jurors will believe you. Thats been sort of the underlying worry of rape victims forever. Which is i dont want to come forward and go through this grueling process and in the end be slapped in the face with the not guilty. What this does is emboldened them. Its okay. Not only are we behind you as prosecutors but juries are behind you too. Its very important. And for all the attacks on by the defense on annabella, it isnt that they didnt we dont know that they didnt believe her. What we know is they didnt believe that the case was proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the enhancement should happen. They may have used her testimony to make a decision on the pattern and practice of Harvey Weinstein which assisted in the convictions on the other two women which would have been acceptable. So i push back as the Defense Attorneys and people start to scream nobody believed her. Not true. And you cant begin to explain how difficult this case was from the point of the prosecution. I also was very nervous about it. And its a huge win for the prosecution and for crime victims everywhere. Ive just been handed some new information, so were going to kind of take a turn here, see if youre comfortable commenting on this. But as we wait and we have a picture up on our screen that were waiting for the Bryant Memorial to get underway. Theres a 72page wrongful death suit filed by attorneys for Vanessa Bryant seeking unspecified damages. They allege the island express and agents and employees had a duty to use a degree of care that an ordinary and careful and prudent pilot would use under the same or similar circumstances . Theres not a surprise in this. This pilot had some issues in the past for being a bit of a cowboy. No, it doesnt surprise me at all. We are going to go to that Memorial Service as soon as it begins. Cynthia oxney, thank you so much for that. Ron allen as well. At the courthouse for the weinstein verdict. We have yet more breaking news today. The number of coronavirus cases in the u. S. Is going up. The cdc says five people from the cruise ship quarantined in japan have tested positive. The passengers are currently under quarantine at joint base san antonio in texas. The cdc says it expects more people from this group to test positive. Meantime, the World Health Organization is warning that the world is not ready for a mierj outbreak of coronavirus. As italy, south korea, and japan have all seen a dramatic increase in cases. More than 20 0 in italy alone, and by the way, one of those south korea cases is the Family Member of a u. S. Soldier who is also an american citizen. The risk level for the military community there has now been raised to high. Officials say as a prudent measure to protect the force. The virus has killed 12 people in iran. The largest number of deaths outside china. Officials there fear theres a large number of people infect who had have not been diagnosed. Joining me now from milan, italy is molly hunter. I heard people wanted to get off the plane you were on. All of this is moving so quickly its making tremendous numbers of people in italy and elsewhere very nervous. Reporter chris, thats the headline. There are a lot of really nervous people in italy. The new front for the Coronavirus Fight really the first outbreak outside of asia. And more than 200 cases and officials here have told us it doesnt mean necessarily 200 new people got sick over the weekend but theyve started testing more people. Kpen expanding their test radius. Over the weekend the Prime Minister said they were taking dramatic measures now. They were going to start closing schools, quarantining towns, shutting down churches, places where lots of people would get together. But chris, that story i talked about earlier, it goes to illustrate the nervousness. We we we pulled away from the gate and three people raised their hands and said they were no longer comfortable flying to italy. The captain got on the loud speaker, said were going back to the gate and said he wasnt going to give anyone advice, but if anyone wanted to get off, they could, and three people did get off. Not that many people were Wearing Masks on the plane. But when we landed in milan no one asked about my previous travel history. Ive been to asia. No one asked if i was in hong kong or japan. I walked through. In downtown, some people are pa r Wearing Masks. I think it will change as the cases go up. I was saying earlier today when i was covering the ebola outbreak, when i came back to the united states, i was not able to go on a president ial trip i was not able to do that, but they were not allowing people in ebolaeffected countries to travel. Im curious about the plane you were on this morning. Were people on their phones and finding out there was a problem in italy, or why suddenly after the plane had pulled out of the gate did the three people decide to get off . Do we know . Reporter we have no idea. And there were three people. I think one of those people decided earlier. Two additional people got up to join that passenger and all three got off. But its just about this kind of mob mentality, this nervousness. As soon as one person says theyre nervous or coughing, i saw this in japan and hong kong as well, were right outside the big milan train station. The biggest worry in europe is can the italian authorities contain the outbreak and the nervousness really to northern italy. There are trains that go all over the country and all over europe. You dont need visas to go to france, switzerland, all the countries in the european block. Open borders are central to how this european block works and whether or not theyre going to be able to monitor everyone that gets on every train or plane remains to be seen. There are more than 200 cases in northern italy right now. 50,000 people under lockdown. Well see if the numbers go up in the next couple days. Take care. Thank you so much. The spread of the virus outside of china, the fresh outbreaks we were reporting on have devastated european and asia markets and now in the u. S. Take a look. Wall street is following suit. Stocks are downright now more than 1,000 points. Coming up forward 1100. Joining me dom chu. What is going on with this latest selloff . Who is involved in this . Which kinds of companies and is there an expectation its going to continue . Theres an expectation right now that well have uncertainty Going Forward. A lot of it has to stem with the nervousness coming out of the coronavirus outbreak. You mentioned the countries that are affected outside of just mainland china. That is whats being called by many traders the real cause of whats happening today. Because what you have is south korea now with more than 8 00 confirmed cases. Thats important, because that means that south korea now has the most confirmed cases of coronavirus outside of china. You mention italy. Molly did there. Thats important. Because with italy, with over 200 cases, it is now causing a number of quarantines to be locally specific to areas in northern italy. Why is that important . Because that part of northern italy accounts for almost a third of the Gross Domestic Product or economic output of italy. Another issue is that free travel that goes around europe, all of that doesnt help to contain whats seen as the virus outbreak. The markets are reacting to whats happening there. As for the companies the most affected right now, the ones in the travel and Leisure Business are taking it hard. Airlines like american airlines, United Continental in the united states. Also cruise operators like norwegian and Carnival Cruise lines. Some of the epicenters for trading. Well see if it sticks around. As for how long its going to last, t all about whether or not the governments will take more steps to try to contain whats happening right now with the coronavirus outbreak. Anybody who has invested their 401k in the market is going to look at this when they get off work today. Theyll hear its down 1,000 points and the question always is what should i do as an arng investor . Hold tight . You know its kind of funny you mention that. Earlier today we sat down with warren buffet talking about what he thinks about this all thing. One of the big take aways he has over decades of investing, very successfully, is that while the coronavirus is a Bad Development for the human race, and theres a scare, it should not dictate investors portfolio decisions. A lot of things being looked at is the risk tolerance. How much they can afford to use. This is a scenario. Even with sharp losses, were still within 5 to 7 of record highs. This is by no means a bpanic in the market. We havent seen a loss like this in a year or year and a half. This is not a normal thing. Dom chu, always appreciate it. Thank you so much. Any minute now the memorial for kobe and Gianna Bryant is expected to begin in los angeles. When it starts, we will bring it to you live. And senator Bernie Sanders is the Democratic Front runner right now. How the down ballot candidates feel about potentially have a selfdescribed democratic socialist at the top of the ticket. Dont go anywhere. Weve got so much news today. Youre watching msnbc. From fidelity. Fidelity now has zero commissions for online u. S. Equity trades and etfs. And fidelity also offers zero account fees for brokerage accounts, plus zero minimums to open an account. And only fidelity offers four zero Expense Ratio index funds directly to investors. With all of those zeros, there are zero reasons to invest anywhere else. Fidelity. So maybe ill win saved by zero so maybe ill win coyou fifteen percentico or more on Car Insurance . Do woodchucks chuck wood . Hey you dang woodchucks, quit chucking my wood geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on Car Insurance. That sofa on tv is iexactly what they need. And now, they know it too. Thats the power of targeted tv advertising. Its smart. It grabs peoples attention. Then they come to my store. Buy that sofa. And leave happy its easy, and its effective. And its why Comcast Spotlight is changing its name to effectv. Because being effective means getting results. We do expect the memorial at the Staple Center for kobe bryant, his daughter, and the seven others who were killed in a Helicopter Crash on january 26th will begin. That memorial will be brought to you live right here on msnbc. Stay tuned for that. We want to talk now as we wait, though, about the race for the white house and the mad scramble among all the Democratic Candidates who arent Bernie Sanders to try to blunt his momentum that is elevating tomorrows debate and saturdays primary to critical status to others fighting to stay in the race for the nomination. Nbc reports some members of congress are in panic mode. It comes down to two words. Democratic socialist. Thats how sanders describes himself and concerns that a democratic socialist at the top of the ticket could spell disaster for the seats a flipped from red to blue in 2018. Those of us in districts donald trump won, every one of us understands whats at stake. If you look at 2018, not a single sanders progressive beat an incumbent republican. We picked up 40 republican seats. Not one of them was won by a sanders progressive. Those of us on the front lines know what a socialist candidacy would mean in our districts, and we want to beat donald trump, and we want to win the house and senate. Joining us now, lee ann caldwell. There is this fear out there, and ive heard it no just from members of congress but from the rank and file about Bernie Sanders. His supporters are saying look what just happened in nevada. Look at how much my vote has broadened, but on capitol hill, what are people telling you . I started hearing murmurs a couple weeks ago. I reported this out that there were concerns about Bernie Sanders, but now that he has done so well in iowa, new hampshire, and nevada, those fears are becoming more and more real. They are concerned that Bernie Sanders is not the person at the top of the ticket who is able to turn out the voters they need in the red swing purple districts for those down ballot races, especially here in congress when they want to maintain control of the house of representatives and win control of the senate. Now, the numbers tell the whole story. When you look at congressional endorsements of those who are running for president , Bernie Sanders has eight. And none of them are from races from people who beat republicans in 2018. Theyre all from progressives who have safe seats. Bernie sanders also doesnt have nearly as many endorsements as joe biden and even michael bloomberg. While theres all this anecdote kind of freaking out and people are talking about it, the numbers and endorsements are facts and tell the story of what they think about Bernie Sanders at the top of this ticket. Well, let me bring in steve kornacki. Again, when you hear Bernie Sanders speak and his supporters, they say look at this coalition im building, and were getting a lot more information about exactly what happened in nevada that backs up his point. Yeah. So if you look at the coalition within the Democratic Party im sorry, steve. Im sorry to interrupt. Were going to go live to the Staple Center where the memorial is getting underway. Lets listen. Welcome to the celebration of life for koib and giana and their friends. Sara and peyton chester, kristina mouser, and ara za buy yan. On behalf of the Bryant Family, we thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. And appreciate your love in coming to celebrate the life of these remarkable individuals. While this is a memorial event, the word celebration is very much a part of its purpose. And while we ask you to respect the occasion, we must not forget to celebrate the lives of kobe, gianna and their friends. There is no doubt that he would have wanted that. To begin this event, a very close friend of the Bryant Family is here to show her love and support to vanessa and all the families here today. Please welcome Beyonce Knowles carter. Kobe bryant. Kobe bryant if you do the work, you work hard enough, the times when you get up early and work hard, those times when you stay up late and work hard, the times when you dont feel like wo working, youre too tired but you do it anyway, thats actually the dream. Thats the dream. Its not the destination. Its the journey. If you guys can understand that, when what youll see happen is that you wont accomplish your dreams. Your dreams wont come true. Something greater will. You guys will always be my heart. I sincerely appreciate it. No words can describe how i feel about you guys. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. God, i love you guys. I love you guys. What can i say . Mamba out. [ applause ] our thanks go out to beyonce for being with us today and expressing her love so beautifully. Another good friend to help guide us through this mornings celebration. Would you please welcome jimmy kimmel. [ applause ] well, you picked the wrong person to guide you through, im going to tell you that right now. I want to thank everyone for being here and thank you for gathering to celebrate the lives of peyton chester, her mother sara chester, kristina mouzer, ara, gigi, and her father kobe bryant. This is a sad day, but it is also a celebration of life, of their lives, and of life itself in the building where those of us who are lakers fans and kobe fans celebrated so many of the best times of our lives, and im honored to have been asked to speak here, the proceeds from the tickets you bought go directly to the mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation which supports youth sports in underserved communities. I also encourage you to go to mam mambaon3. Org. It provides Financial Support of the other families. I can only imagine how painful this is for them. I dont think any of us could have imagined this. Everywhere you go, you see his face, his number. Gigis face, gigis number. Everywhere. At every intersection. There are hundreds of murals painted by artists who were inspired not because hes a basketball player but because kobe was an artist too, and not just in l. A. , across the country in kobes hometown, philadelphia, in italy, in india, the philippines, china, new york, phoenix, austin, for gods sake. In places where he would be bood on the court. Kobe is missed. Even bill russel wore number 24 and a lakers jersey to yesterdays game. [ applause ] i knew he would come to us eventually. Today were joined by kobes teammates and opponents alike. His friends and family and his fans as we try to make sense of what happened to these nine Beautiful People who were by all accounts so full of life who left behind parents, friends, coworkers, classmates, siblings and children. Ive been trying to come up with something positive to take away from this, and it was hard, because there isnt much. But the best thing i think i was able to come up with is this. Gratitude. It seems to me that all we can do is be grateful for the time we had with them and for the time we have left with each other, and thats all. In the catholic church, you know, which the Bryant Family is part of, at mass we share the sign of peace. This is a moment to hug or shake hands with people around you. It occurred to me that that is something that only seems to happen at church and at sporting events when perfect strangers who love the same team are suddenly hugging and high fiving and celebrating together. And so since we are here today to celebrate, id like to invite you right now to take a moment to say hello to the people around you whether you know them or not, to be grateful for life, and for the fact that we are all here together. [ applause ] [ chanting ] now id like to introduce a person who invited us all here today on 224 because she knew we needed it. We cannot celebrate the lives of kobe and gigi and all the people we lost without honoring the woman who kobe and gigi loved most. Please welcome Vanessa Bryant. [ applause ] thank you. Thank you. Thank you all so much for being here. It hemeans so much to us. Love you too. First, id like to thank everyone for coming today. The outpouring of love and support that my family has felt from around the world has been so uplifting. Thank you so much for all your prayers. Id like to talk about both kobe and gigi but ill start with my baby girl first. My baby girl. [ applause ] Gianna Bryant is an amazingly sweet and jenggentle soul. She was always thoughtful. She always kissed me good night and good morning. There were a few occasions where i was absolutely tired from up capri and i thought she had left for School Without saying goodbye. Id text and say no kiss . And gianna would reply with mama, i kissed you, but you were asleep and i didnt want to wake you. She knew how much her morning and evening kisses meant to me and she was so thoughtful to remember to kiss me every day. She was daddys girl, but i know she loved her mama, and she would always tell me and show me how much she loved me. She was one of my very best friends. She loved to bake. She loved putting a smile on everyones face. Last august she made a beautiful birthday cake for her daddy. It had fondant and looked like crystals. It looked like it was professionally decorated. She made the best chocolate chip cookies. She loved watching cooking shows with me and survivor and nba games with her daddy and disney movies with her sisters. Gigi was very competitive like her dada, but gianna had a sweet grace about her. Her smile was like sunshine. Her mile took up her entire face like mine. Kobe always said she was me. She had my fire, personality and sarcasm but she was tender and loving on the inside. She had the best laugh. It was infectious. It was pure and genuine. Kobe and gianna naturally gravitated towards each other. She had kobes ability to listen to a song and have all the lyrics memorizes after listening to the song a couple of times. It was their secret talent. She was an incredible athlete. She was great at gymnastics, soccer, softball, dance, and basketball. She was incredible dancer too. She loved to swim, dance, do cart wheels and jumps into our swimming pool, and gigi loved her tiktok dances. Gigi was confident but not in an arrogant way. She loved helping and teaching other people things. At school she offered the Boys Basketball coaches to help give pointers. Like the triangle offense. She was very much like her daddy in that they both liked helping people learn new things and master them. They were great teachers. She was very sweet. She always made sure everyone was okay. She was our she werard. She always kepd our family together. She loved family traditions, family movie night and game night on vacations were important to her. She was very much in tune with our feelings and wanted the best for us. She was smart. She knew how to read, mike and write mandarin. She knew spanish. She had great grades and kept them up all while becoming an incredible basketball player. She was president of school spirit, on student council, directors assistant for school play like her sister, looking forward to graduating 8th grade and moving on to high school with her big sister natalia. Im so happy she was given the opportunity to know that she was accepted to the same high school. She was really happy. Gianna made us all proud, and she still does. Gianna never tried to conform. She was always herself. She was a nice person, a leader, a teacher, wearing a white tee, black leggings, a denim jacket, white high top converse, and a flannel tied around her waist with straight hair was her goto style. She had so much swag and rhythm ever since she was a baby. She gave the best hugs and kigss. She would hug me and hold me so tight i could feel her love me. I loved the way she looked up at me while hugging me. It was as if she was soaking me all in. We love each other so much. I miss her so much. She was so energiestic. I couldnt keep up with her energy. She lapped natalia and i on a track once. She was about 6 years old. We let her have a head start. She still bested us. I miss her sweet kisses where her cleverness, her sarcasm, wit, and that adoeshl sly side smile followed with a grin and a burst of laughter. We shared the same cat that ate the canary grin. Gigi was sunshine. She brightened up my day every day. I miss looking at her beautiful face. She was always so good, a rule follower. I knew i could always count on her to do the right thing. She was the most loving daughter, thoughtful little sister, and silly big sister. She happily helped carry the littles diaper bag, she liked helping me with bianca and capri. Bianca loved going to the playground, swimming and jumping on the trampoline with gigi. I used to tell her she considered her her favorite sister. She would nilsmile from ear to r when gigi walked into the room. They look alike and just smile with their whole face, pure joy. We will not be able to see gigi go to high school with natalia and ask her how her day went. We didnt get the chance to teach her how to drive a car. I wont be able to tell her how gorgeous she looks on her wedding day. Ill never get to see my baby girl walk down the aisle, have a fathe fathe fatherdaughter dance with her daddy, dance on the dance floor with me or have babies of her own. Gianna would have been an amazing mommy. She was very maternal every since she was little. She would have most likely become the best player in the wnba. [ cheers and applause ] she would have made a huge difference. She would have made a huge difference for womens basketball. Gigi was motivated to change the way everyone viewed women and sports. She wrote papers in school and wrote about how the unequal pay wasnt fair. And i truly feel she made positive changes for the wnba players now, since she knew her goal was to evooechblt play in the wnba. Im still so proud. She made a difference and was kind to everyone she met in the 13 years she was here on earth. Her classmates shared many fond memories about gianna with us and those reminded me that she believed no act of kind noness too small. She was always considerate of others and their feelings. She was a beautiful, kind, happy, silly, thoughtful and loving daughter and sister. She was so full of life and had so much more to offer this world. I cannot imagine life without her. Mommy, natalia, bianca, capri and daddy love you so much, gigi. I will miss your sweet handmade cards, your sweet kisses, and your gorgeous smile. I miss you, all of you, every day. I love you. [ cheers and applause ] okay. Now for my soulmate. Kobe was known as a fierce competitor on the basketball cart court, the greatest of all time, a writer, an oscar winner, and the black mamba. [ cheers and applause ] but to me, he was kobe, kobe where my booboo, my bae boo, my botichulo. I was his beebee, prince pessa, queen mama, and his fablisque. I couldnt see him as a celebrity nor just an incredible basketball player. He was any swemy sweet husband beautiful father of our children. He was mine. He was my everything. Kobe and i have been together since i was 17 1 2 years old. I was his first girlfriend, his first love, his wife, his best friend, his confidante and his protector. He was the most amazing husband. Kobe loved me more than i could every express or pit pput or pu wor words. We balanced each other out. He would do anything for me. I have no idea how i deserved a man that loved and wanted me more than
