Unless the president personally evokes an executive privilege which is a rare thing. They have no immunity. They have to respond to us. Are they planning to assert privilege across the board here . They realized that House Democrats have a legitimate oversight responsibility. What trump and his white house seems to be doing at this time is setting things up for potential subpoena battle with house judiciary and other lawmakers on capitol hill. But if money is taken from military Construction Funds already in the under fy 19 budget, then the 3. 6 billion will come in and back fill that. It is a sneaky way of having 7. 2 billion for the border. And they say with the Hurricane Season just three months away, there are marines and sailors working in compromised structures, basically that theyre putting their wellbeing at risk.
