At least seven people died in the bahamas. That number only expected to climb. Bill, i want to start with you. Where is dorian right now. What should people be most concerned about . The first is the water. Molly is located in the savannah area. Thats the next benchmark where we will get our first significant damage along coastal sections of the u. S. High tide after 1 00. Were expecting water levels that will reach historic levels. Savannah it could be the third highest they have recorded, back in the 1940s. That is significant. That is what will be happening shortly. 105 Miles Per Hour winds. This was the path from 5 00 a. M. The new one as we go throughout this hour, at the end of this hour. The only question, will it shift closer to the coast north . It will remain where it is. Maybe closer to the coastal areas. That will mean all of a sudden we will start increasing the possibility of the high winds. And the flood risk has really gone up in the last 24 hours. This area of pink in here is what we call a high risk of flooding. High risk of flash flooding. Florence was horrendous for flooding in this region. I dont think we will see storm totals like that. But in a small period of time we could get 6 to 10, maybe 12 inches of rain. You know, two inches an hour could cause significant flash flooding from charleston, myrtle peach, wilmington. Rainfall totals here in the red and pink are 7 to 9 feet in that region. And as far as what we will deal with the storm surge, we had 2 to 3 foot surge in the jacksonville area at low tide so no one really noticed. High tide this afternoon up here on the coastline, especially around savannah, 1 19 this afternoon, thats where we are expecting the high watermark there. Bill, i know youre coming back at the end of the hour. Stay close to the camera. 10 50, 10 55. Stay tuned. Perfect. So viewers know, you will be back on this show then. Molly hunter is in georgia. Bill was just talking about it. It looks like youre getting whipped out there . Reporter hey, hallie, thats right. What bill just said, that is what everyone here is worried about here. Were out on tybee island. A couple of surfers out there. There are always a couple. A kuite surfer getting whipped around out there. A mandatory evacuation is different for some people. Joining me now is the city manager here on tybee island. Not everyone is evacuating, shawn. That was the case with matthew and irma. We know we will have people on the island from hardcore surrers to longtime residents who just dont want to leave. We are encouraging everyone to get off the island. We sent a message to try to do that before 10 00 or 11 00 this morning. Tybee road, one road on and off the island will be government anywhere from noon to 3 00. The window of opportunity will be gone. Reporter as bill said, that high tide coming in 1 19 or so. This is incredibly low lying. There are houses all along here. Do you think most got out or they will just ride it out . Its hard to tell. People along the front might have gone out. We are expecting to get up to the dune line by later today. Thats the danger point. We built new dune systems. We have protections in place. The real concerns are the backside of the island. Yeah. It will come along with the storm surge. We will be watching that real close. These people have been flooded out two of the last three years. We hope it doesnt happen again. This island will be cut off from the mainland this afternoon. We will head back and check out what the waterfront looks like. We are expecting Tropical Storm force winds much we are getting whipped around pretty well. Get back over to savannah, molly. Down to the florida coast where julia bagg is stationed. You guys are not totally in the clear just yet. Reporter youre right, hallie. The fury of this storm looking at the waves pounding, pounding the beach. In fact, the big concern here was for storm surge. Waves come up quickly and surprise you. Thats why the peach is closed here. Local residents wanting to come out and take a look at things. We have been speaking with you. You have a boat that you had to kind of take shelter with that boat as well, too, because you live on that boat. Tell me what you are thinking about this storm. Its im glad its not as bad as it could have been. We dodged a big let. The waves are high. The water is high. But we have come through really good actually. So far so good. That is the word we are hearing from emergency managers. More than 1,000 people taking shelter in this county. Just looking at this surf, knowing that it didnt make landfall, what does that tell you about this storm . It tells me that it was pretty big. Were lucky that we just have a little water. And some wind. This is a good lesson. At least everybody that i have seen really responded well to this storm. The people and the community. That is certainly what we have seen. Thank you so much for speaking with us. Just as we have been speaking, hallie, the waves coming up right here. Covering up what is the peach here. You could walk quite far out. The combination between the tide and just this storm bringing things into close here. You get a sense how powerful it is. Kathy park is in charleston, south carolina. Talk through what the big concern is for you there. Reporter hallie, good morning to you. We are looking at the ashley river behind me which flows into the atlantic. We heard high tide was to happen at 1 00. We are seeing the water levels rise. The big concern is flooding. The way the region is steined. Designed. Yesterday everything was boarded up. Pretty much a ghost town. People are heeding the warnings. Over to my left, i want to point over to these guys over here. Obviously theyre getting their boats ready. Mandatory Evacuation Order is in effect. People are using the time now to kind of prep their homes, their boats to bear the brunt of this hurricane. It is a combination of things. Its flooding, storm surge, wind gusts. The list goes on and on. They have weathered a lot of hurricanes. They say they are prepared and theyre willing to ride out the storm. Were continuing to kind of monitor the situation here. Were seeing some bands of rain showers. In fact, just an hour ago we saw lightning and thunder. We are starting to feel the impacts of taurean. Kathy park in charleston. We talked about where dorian is headed. How about where it has been . Mariana atencio is in the bahamas. Mariana, that area has been devastated. It is difficult to look at the pictures, the videos we are about to show you here. Its hard to look at. Reporter hallie when you see the aerials coming in and 24 hours have gone by, 36 hours has gone by, the weather has finally let up here in the bahamas allowing military helicopters to go in and out since yesterday to some of the most devastated areas. Just starting to get a glimpse at the scope of the devastation here. Coming here from the airport this morning i was listening to the radio and talking to locals, hallie. And they are at a loss for wordwords as to what the Prime Minister called carnage this storm has called parts of this island. Here at Princess Margaret hospital in grand bahama, i got word from the Hospital Authority that they are starting to bring the first batch of medical evacuees from the storm. 38 total. 35 patients from abaco island. Three from grand bahama. She did confirm that two passed away overnight. That brought the death toll from five to seven. Pregnant moms were being brought here. When i asked about the specific injuries, she couldnt get into too many details. She did tell me people are coming in with head injuries. There are dialysis patients. There are children that are coming here injured. And i think we have to take a moment to think about the kids. After Hurricane Maria in puerto rico, you have to think about the scars, not only physical but psychological. These kind of devastating weather events can leave a generation of kids. The Hospital Authority is starting to send out three groups today of doctors. The first one left at 9 00 a. M. This morning. The second left moments ago at the top of the hour. A third leaving out offed on sin airport being taken there at 3 00 p. M. Today by the coast guard. Medical units, hallie, that have everything from trauma doctors ive been told, radiographers, technicians. Counseling staff. And also surveillance staff. She told me it was hard to even look at what they are seeing from above, from the air. As i was coming in this morning, they were saying this is a time for the island to come together. Just looking at the pictures, you know they will need each other more than ever. Hallie . That is for sure. Mariana, thank you. Were going to have much more on this hurricane Coverage Later in the show. State after state bracing for the worst. We also have the update in just about 40 minutes from now from the National Hurricane center. Bill karins will be here live to give it to you. First, how the president is now pulling from the pentagons budget to foot the bill for the border wall that mexico was supposed to pay for. Try listerine® and for onthego, try listerine® ready tabs™ so we should know more today, really any minute, about which specific projects and which specific plates will be affected after 3. 5 billion to pay for the border wall the president wants in mexico. This is the same border wall that the president always promised mexico would pay for. He actually kind of promised it a lot. Who is going to pay for the wall . Mexico. Mexico, 100 . Mexico is going to pay for the wall, right . Mexico is going to pay for the wall. You know that. Here we are with the pentagon paying for 3. 6 billion worth of the wall, shifting around money in hopes of making the wall happen, making democrats furious. Geoff bennett is over at the white house and on which i will, jake sherman, msnbc political contributor. Geoff, let me start with you. We dont know yet which specific projects will be affected. How is the white house responding . Reporter the white house is seeing things different than the senator minority leader. You dont say . Reporter right. This whole thing is unfolding some six months, seven months really, after President Trump declared a National Emergency to unlock roughly 8 billion worth of government money to get this border wall built. 3. 6 billion coming from military construction projects. You mentioned chuck schumer. He said this whole approach, the president putting the pentagon, rating the pentagon to make good on his campaign process. Chuck schumer said it was a slap in the face to american servicemen and women. It is worth noting jim mattis, who is on a book tour this morning, on morning joe this morning he was asked directly about this. Take a look at what he had to say. Im not in a position i think to walk out of the administration over a policy disagreement. Right. And then become a critic. And the reason is i dont want to add what is simply right now the corrosive political debates. I dont think its helpful. I dont think its necessary. Reporter all right. So not much new from mattis there. 127 military projects will be either delayed or suspended to come up with the 3. 6 billion hopefully by the end of the day, we will have a better sense of where they are. I heard from one democratic lawmakers who says if most are on the chopping block in democratic districts and states, theyre going to make a lot of fuss about that, hallie. Nancy pelosi called this irresponsible. She said it makes america less safe. Chuck schumer calls it a slap in the face to Armed Services and President Trump is willing to cannibalize to boost his own ego. Theyre not happy. Thats not surprising. What can they do, if anything, about this . Well, remember, Congress Still spends money. Congress still has power of the purse. That is incredibly important to keep in mind. And they have given up some of that power over the years. They have given up earmarks, operational control of certain parts of the budget. They still do have a large degree of control over spending. Thats number one. Number two, what geoff said is right. If this is Just One Party that has its district affected, that will obviously be noticed and quite important to note. I suspect that it wont be. This is jobs, right . This is not just military installations. It will have impacts on peoples districts. If members of congress are exercised about anything, jobs in their districts, facilities in their districts, military in their districts, you could see a lot of fallout from this, especially, remember, government funding needs to be passed by the end of september. So were getting close again to that time period. So the congress will have a lot of leverage to extract things from the administration over the next month or so. We dont know how that will play out. Congress doesnt come back until next week. But thats a very important thing to remember, that congress has a lot of control over the president. By the way, thats why he needs to shift the money because he lost in the battle with congress to get this money in the first place jake sherman on the hill for us. Jegeoff bennett, see you at the white house in a minute, my friend. Walmart taking a stand. What about Mitch Mcconnell . The new pressure on the majority leader in the battle over guns in america. One lawmakers joins us live next. First, an update on Hurricane Dorian as this massive storm now continues its multiday siege of the eastern seaboard. So have you seen that New Washington post editorial out today . It has the headline, Mitch Mcconnell, do something. It is filled with the names of hundreds of victims from 29 highprofile Mass Shootings in this country with the Editorial Board begging mcconnell to bring something to the floor for a vote when the senate gets back in session next week. Here on set is congressman beyey. Thank you very much. Are you hopeful this is going to make a difference . That Mitch Mcconnell will change his position the next two years . I do hope so. You do hope so . I do so. When walmart is doing more than Mitch Mcconnell, it is pushing us in the right direction. The odessa case, were so clear if there were universal background checks he probably wouldnt have been able to buy a gun. He was turned down because of Mental Health issues when he tried to buy it legally. But through the loophole i bought it vil via private. Under the house background checks. Not under other background check bills. If there is something that expands background checks, even if it doesnt cover all hoop holes, would you be supportive of that . I would be. Im an incrementalist. Anything that moves us in the right direction is a good thing. As long as there is a way to do it privately on the internet, in a garage sale. There are going to be bad people that get guns. You mentioned walmart. In the last 24 hours, they announced they will stop selling ammunition from certain weapons. What has it told you Corporate America is taking more action than members of congress. At the moment, Corporate America is being more responsible. Were thrilled. Also i think stores like walmart, they are responsive to what customers are telling them. They are not doing this because it is just good for america. It is good business. I want to ask other news of the day topics. We discussed the pentagon announcing it will divert 3. 6 billion. Your district gets a lot of money in military construction. Have you heard, have they told you yet what projects in your area are going to be affected . No, i dont know. I suspect fort myer could be one of them. The colonel, all she talked about were all the buildings falling down, the walls, all the things from the rainy last season we had. You started shaking your head when i raised the question. Im with nancy pelosi and chuck schumer. The constitution clearly gives congress the ability to spend money. And trump by the way, this is the largest Defense Budget in our history. And trump now is taking 3. 6 billion away from projects that we determined were necessary for the american soldiers and sailors and diverting it to a wall he said mexico was going to pay for. I also want to share news coming in in the last couple of minutes. I know you havent read the entire report on the Inspector General for health and human services. It talks about how children, according to the independent watch dog, separated from their parents last year showed more signs of posttraumatic stress. The hectic reunification process added to their trauma. Your reaction . As a father of four, i completely understand. The first stress that almost any of us have as human beings is separation. Separation anxiety from our mother, from our family. In fact, my oldest memory is being dragged off to Nursery School. That is traumatic. This is different from going to Nursery School is a lot different yeah. It was three hours rather than a strange country, strange place, and strange people. What do you do as a member of congress . How do you fix Something Like this and make sure it doesnt happen again . Among other things, we have all fought back really hard against family separation. In fact, i visited two of the men who were in an arundel jail. You know the kids are going to be traumatized for a long time because of that. Number one, keep the families together. If we have to modify some of the processes, procedures to do that, then we should. I appreciate you coming on. Especially coming here on set. Thank you. I want to bring in a man who lost 14yearold jamie last year at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Thank you for being back on the show. How are you . Well, your daughters name is on that Washington Post editorial. Shes one of the names listed there. When you see that, when you think about that, what goes through your mind . Do you think its going to have an impact . What goes through my mind is that it shouldnt have happened. What goes through my mind is everyone since then and before that shouldnt have happened. How preventable so many of these are. What goes through my mind is how weak the legislators are that should be doing something about it. You know, just yesterday we had the news out of odessa that that was a person would couldnt have passed a background check and that had gone through a private sale. Now, dan crenshaw referred to that as a oneoff substance. No. Theres 300 million weapons right now in america that can be traded that way. Unless we deal with the reality of private sale and background checks, which is what hra does, we have a problem on our hands. It is not just the guns. Once you get that gun, then you can walk into any store and buy the ammunition because there is no requirement for a background check on ammunition. Thats why i am fight fog or jame fighting for jamies law. Walmart, the nra, as you might have seen, is pushing back saying it is shameful to see walmart succumb to the pressure of the antigun elites. Yeah. Do you consider an antigun elitist . I consider myself the father of a dead child because of gun violence. Now, the nra, which made that statement, they have spent their dues that they have collected on things like hair cuts, hair dye, vacations, suits, and the attempt to buy a house in texas. That to me sounds elitist. What i am trying to do is save lives. No other parent should feel what i feel every second of every day when i wake up what is your message to specifically senator Mitch Mcconnell, who is facing increasing pressure on this, and to President Trump, today, right now . Well, so my message to senator mcconnell and to President Trump is, you already failed. By not taking up hr8, what happened at odessa happened and you could have stopped it by bringings this up for a vote. Mcconnell is a failure. Lets accept it. He needs to be fired. But im also getting really angry at the democrats in the senate, including those running for president , who are not doing anything but speaking. So heres my plan to get hr8 through the senate. Senator schumer, you bring it up to the senate floor. Call everybody in the senate to the floor. I know it vote wont count. Get people on record. Invite all the republicans there as well to do it. Stop talking, show that you in the senate, the majority of you, support what 90 of the americans support. And ill make this ream easy. Following this interview, im going to twitter and put out a simple question to the u. S. Senate, do you support it or not . Go to my twitter page and vote on it. But you know what, senator schumer, in expect more of you also. Mcconnell failed. Odessa happened because mcconnell failed. But you know what, its time for the democrats to do more as well. Especially those who are leading and running for president. Fred guttenberg, thank you very much for joining us this morning. Im sure senator schumer will point out. Go to a hotel room, get a lobby, do it. Just get it on record. He ya. Fred, thanks again. We will check your twitter page for all of that. Appreciate it. Thank you. A mysterious john doe is fighting to keep his name out of Jeffrey Epstein Court Documents and begging a federal judge not to release them to the public. A possible connection that might connect him to an underaged sex trafficking operation run by the billionaire. Virginia Roberts Jeffrey called for the release of thousands of pages of documents associated with the suit. The judge heard from everybody, all sides this morning and has just set a schedule for when we might know more from all of this. Tom winter is outside federal court in new york. Tom, i think you just walked outside. What happened inside . What did the judge decide . When are we going to hear more about this . Reporter the hearing just wrapped up shortly a few minutes ago. Basically what we learned is the judge here asked the attorneys to categorize all the different documents in this case that were sealed and might be up for unsealing. Without going into a long definition of what judicial documents are, what they arent and you pushing the boundaries of our interests in this subject, we can say it is going to be probably a month away before we get any new documents unsealed in this case. There has to be some legal back and forth between all the parties. There has to be legal back and forth between some of the people that arent involved in this suit but have an interest in it. So that is going to kind of be the next steps. So i think it is probably going to be perhaps early october before we start to see some more unsealed documents come out. But probably wont happen all at kwupbs. It will probably happen as different categories. I mean Something Like a deposition. A number of depositions. We may get a number of rulings, that type of thing. What else do we know, tom, about this anonymous john doe . So there is a lot of interest in who this person is, why they have entered this case. And their interest in keeping their name either redacted in these filings or any documents pertaining to them sealed . Heres what we know. This has to be somebody that knows that theyre mentioned in this litigation, in this civil proceeding that was settled a couple of years ago. We know that it has to be somebody who thinks they have exposure to anything that Virginia Roberts joffrey says or has any sort of ties to ga lean maxwell. It has to be something who knows they were in epsteins orbit and knows they might be was implicated in some sort of involvement with tkpwer lean maxwell or by roberts joffrey. That is at least the general parameters of who this person may be. As far as the specific name, we didnt hear that today, hallie. Tom winter live in new york. Thank you much, my friend. You can see it on your screen there. The hot, flaming pile of chaos that is par la. Whats going on . That is not the easiest question to answer. Heres the teal. Right now members of parliament are debating. They are expected to vote today on a bill that would hold off on brexit, the exit from the European Union. If they cant come to a decent deal in the next six weeks. If that happens it would be a huge and very embarrassing blow to Boris Johnson, a big brexit supporter. He is totally okay of crashing out of the eu without a deal. This bill would kill that option. So how is it making its way to the floor of parliament then . Boris johnson does not have any control of parliament as of 24 hours ago. The first day of the new term, members of his own conservative party literally walked across the aisle. They actually got up and moved to go sit with opposition leaders to take control of parliament away from the government. Now the opposition is calling the shots. They are using power to try to force a delay on kpebbrexit fro next week to next year. To put a fine point on how crazy and how much u people care, the uks version of cspan that broadcasts all of this parliament stuff has 20,000 viewers, right . Over the last 24 hours, 1. 5 million people. North america editor from bbc is joining me now. John, you do such a good job breaking this down. What is going on . If you have a bit of a headache this morning, a bit of migraine, im going to make it worse trying to explain all of this. In a word, these rebels that in unprecedented numbers just said to Boris Johnson, i dont care what you threatened us with, we are going to vote the way we want to so britain would crash out the end of october. The end of last night you had the man who had been our treasury secretary kicked out of the conservative party. A man who served the Prime Minister, thatcher in the 80s, john major in the 90s, david ram ron in the 2000s, kicked out. Winston churchill grandson kicked out of the conservative party. It was an extraordinary scene. Rebels in command of the house of commons at the moment. Theres one of them speaking now. One of the people kicked out of the conservative party. And they are saying we are going to legislate to stop a no teal brexit. It is a huge slap in the face to Boris Johnson. Completely. He is still in power, another question of whether he has control. Heres his options based on as far as we can tell. Call for a snap general election to try to get back control, which parliament would have to approve, by the way. By twothirds majority. Yeah, a lot. He could be objected with noconfidence vote. Or resign. He might call for election. How is that going to go . So what happens if legislation is passed today, it means britain cannot leave without a deal. So that the option of leaving on october 31st, which Boris Johnson said absolutely categorically we will. Were going. Were off. It doesnt matter. It might not happen. He may be forced to ask for an extension from the European Union if this legislation gets passed. The mp might not go to general election. You made this mess. Now you sit and stew in it. There is a possibility that this goes on and on and on. The nightmare that is brexit, i mean, there was a photo last night, hallie, of theresa may leaving the palace of westminster, security detail, and you see her with this huge smile on her face. Oh, man. The man who brought her down now has this nightmare in his lap. Bring it home to the United States. What does this mean for President Trump . There has been a huge debate in the United States why arent american senators standing up to donald trump more . Right. I have seen a lot of comment today about looking at parliament where actually conservative members of parliament are standing up to their own government and saying we have got to do what is right. Equivalent of republicans standing up to donald trump. Republicans in the house or senate saying, no, you cant do this, mr. President. So we have seen that in the uk. I think what it means is what is going to be the trade deal that is negotiated. That is a big ticket item. What is the trade deal that will be negotiated between britain and the United States, how long is it going to take . How long is brexit going to take . This took place three years ago. We are no closer resolving this nightmar start of start of i told i told you id make your headache worse, i apologize. You actually didnt. You are preaching my friend, thank you for teaching that its lecture. Its always nice to have you on. You know were staying international by the way. For weeks those intense protests in hong kong. This morning those demonstrators are finally getting what they want, at least partly. We learned in the last few hours that leaders are now giving in to one their demands. Its stuff to overstate how big a reversal this is. So why did hong kongs socalled iron lady back down . Christopher is in hong kong with that answer. Chris, whats with this move and is it too little too late . Reporter hallie, you can probably hear and perhaps see for yourself that just over my shoulder protesters outside of a Police Station here in hong kong have not backed down. They were just chased away by a group of police, but you might still be able to see this barricade that theyve built over my shoulder. And i want to show you the Police Station that theyre standing in front of protesting. This has been a battlefield over the last few nights where weve seen an exchange of teargas from police and bricks and even molotov cocktails from protesters protesters. Protesters want to tell police now that their battle is not they over. They still have other demands that have yet to be met, including police who are holding protesters inside of this Police Station and other Police Stations around hong kong. So, chris, this clearly hasnt done much to diminish the protests that weve been seeing. What are you hearing from the folks youre talking to . Reporter well, theyre telling us both that this protest and on the chatrooms which has been a crucial place of gathering for protesters throughout this leaderless movement, that theyre simply not backing down. They have more demand. They want the government, basically, to back down and theyve resign. Theyve completely lost faith in so them. So if anything, this move on the part of carrie lamm, the chief czechtive of hong kong, has only infewe infewer infuriated infewer infuriated them more. I know its been a busy day for you. We we are back with developments of Hurricane Dorian as it starts to lash florida. Nbc news meteorologist bill karins is here. Any second were getting the newest advisory on the storms path, right. Yeah, theyre not cooperating with us this hour. Sometimes it comes in a little before the 11 00 hour, sometimes right at 11 00. My computer is live on air here so we can show you it. Wire worried about the storm surge being about 2 to 3 feet, forecast was 3 to 7 feet. It happened at low tide, thats not an issue. I dont think well have hardly any damage at all in florida from this storm. Thats great news. Qi, thats great news. New advisory just came in. All right. Lets do it. It was at 8 Miles Per Hour, now it ticked up to 9 miles per thats hour. Thats the forward speed. In the bahamas it was 1 and unfortunately the unfortunately the winds didnt go down, still at 105 miles per and the hour. And the location is 90 miles east northeast of daytona. Its almost getting in the area of just offshore between daytona and jacksonville. Heres the new forecast path. One thing i was watching, you know, the center line to take in, because it could go left and right but its hard not to because that gives you the trend, was right over the top of if you if you look really closely in here, now its to the left of so it hatteras. So it looks like the forecast, at least the center line, shifted about ten miles towards North Carolina. Closer to the coast . And that means higher winds could move on shore than was previously forecasted. That means heavier rain on if shore. If youre in eastern North Carolina, your odds of getting a direct hit from a category two hurricane have been increasing and is now likely. Id say a landfall is even likely now. Were talking about from Cape Hatteras down to where the ferry here is cedar key back down there atlantic beach, emerald a isle. A lot of people know camp lejeune and the military marine base there. Thats going to be very close to being in the eye of this storm. Wrightsville beach, thats going to be close to it too. Even to charleston, this distance is very tight here. Theres a chance they could be in some of the peak winds. Usually the peak highest winds are what we call the Northeast Quadrant of the storm. Right. That would be offshore except for maybe the outer banks. Maybe wouldnt see these types of winds, 100 to 120, but we could see 80 to 100 mile Miles Per Hour wind gusts along the coastline of eastern North Carolina and south carolina. The thing were watching now, hallie, is the high water starting to move. We have our crews there with molly hunter. A little after 1 00 today its supposed to be the third highest water cycle. If they dont get it then, they have know high tide after midnight. And and charleston tonight after midnight when were expecting the second highest water level in charleston history next to hugo in the is about to get very serious for our flenriends in coastal carolinas and georgia. If youre living in the carolinas there is not the news you wanted to hear, fair to say . Yes. It shifted slightly to the im coast. Im glad people evacuated and whoever was waiting out till the last minute, nows your time. I appreciate all the hard work youve been doing. Thank you. Im headed to the white house, see you there on nicely news. But right now my colleague craig melvin is picking it up in new smyrna beach. Hey, pal. Someone who remembers hugo from 1989, thats terrible news for the low country in the palmetto state. Good morning to you. Im on floridas east coast where you can probably see now weve met the outer bands of Hurricane Dorian, the eye of that storm about 90 miles north of where i am standing right weve now. Weve seen the waves here shift over the past few hours. And as youll probably see over the next few minutes, the waves now also crashing into the coastline as well. The storm is churning, all florida, up the georgia coastline as you just saw from that update there into south
