Developed to trying to beat the president. The race for the democratic nomination coming down to joe biden and Bernie Sanders. Biden is now the frontrunner after winning nine of 14 states that voted yesterday. Sanders took three states and sanders in the lead in california where officials tallying votes there and bringing it to you as soon as we get it. Meantime an aide telling nbc news that massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren still in the race is talking about her talking with her team about her next steps after a disappointing super tuesday including a loss in her home state. Earlier today Democratic National Committee Chair tom perez shared his thoughts on the state of the race with my colleague andrea mitchell. Watch this. I have great faith in whoever wins the nomination. Senator sanders, the Vice President , they all understand that this is a different moment, this is the most dangerous president in american history, andrea. This is our democracy as we know it thats on the ballot. We can withstand four years of donald trump but we cant withstand eight. You see it in the voter turnout. So lets get right to the big news. Seems like bloomberg approaching the podium. Talking about the end of the road for him. There he is. Former new york city mayor Michael Bloomberg. Just awaiting to address the crowd and i have nbc Business Correspondent Stephanie Ruhle with us, as well, whenos coverg the Bloomberg Campaign quite sometime. Interesting day for Michael Bloomberg making this decision quickly after super tuesday but not surprisingly. Hell be the first to say it there he is now, starting now. You know, i decided we have the slogan wrong. It should be mike likes you. Thank you thank you, everyone. Not sure what you say other than thank you to everybody here whos tried to make a difference. And mayor nutter, mike, you really have been amazing. Where are you hiding again . Right here. Hiding in plain sight. These past few months have been some of the most inspiring, certainly, in my life an i hope in yours. In just 100 days i have been to 73 cities in 27 states all across the country. We have gone from portland, maine, all the way to compton, california. From detroit, michigan, down to jackson, mississippi. And every place i went i listened to americans of every age and every race and every ethnicity and every religion and every identity and orientation. And i heard about their hopes and their dreams and their fears and their struggles. And those come from conversations just confirm my faith in the work that our team was doing to defeat donald trump and bring our and bring our country back together and get things done for the American People now today i want to say how grateful i am to everyone who has been part of our team and i want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support, your work and your votes and im just telling you the American Public should be saying thank you to you, as well. You really made history. You really did. No yes, it is true. No campaign has ever accomplished as much as you did in such a short period of time. If you go back we started at 1 in the polls. But yesterday thanks to you nearly 2 million americans cast their votes for our campaign. This really is the best most creative most hard working Campaign Team ever assembled. And i have to say there is no doubt in my mind we would have beaten donald trump in november. And you know who else knows that . Donald trump hes been scared stiff of us and for good reason. Because every time he hit us we hit back twice as hard. And unlike his jabs, our punches packed the truth. Now look. Today i am cleared eyed about our overriding objective and that is victory in november. Not victory for me. Or our campaign. But victory for our country. If you remember i entered the race for president to defeat donald trump and today i am leaving the race for the same reason. To defeat donald trump because staying in would make it more difficult to achieve that goal. Ive always believed that data should inform our decisions. Thats the way i ran my business and foundation and city hall. In fact, our Campaign Slogan was in god we trust, everyone else, bring data. Well, after yesterdays results the delegate math had become virtually impossible and a viable path to the nomination just no longer existed. And i will not be our partys nominee. But i will not walk away from the most important political fight of my life and i hope you wont walk away either ive always believed defeating donald trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it and after yesterdays vote it is clear that candidate is my friend and a great american, joe biden. Ive known joe for a very long time. I know his decency, honesty, commitment to the issues so important to our country including gun safety, health care, Climate Change and good jobs. And ive had a chance to work with joe on those issues over the years, especially when he was Vice President. He fought for working people, his who im glad to say i endor joe biden and i hope you will join me in working to make him the next president of the United States of america it is enormous understatement to say that im immensely proud of the campaign that we ran and the issues we raised and the sweeping achievable plans we proposed and that includes the Greenwood Initiative to right historic wrong. To fight racial inequality and make the promise of equal opportunity real for the black communities that have endured centuries of exploitation and discrimination. That work ive always thought is fundamental to the country and more Perfect Union each generation is called to build. This afternoon i want you to all know im grateful to everyone who supported us, to everyone in the Campaign Headquarters here in new york, the work that you did every day, lat at nights, early mornings and weekends and holidays really just amazing and to the incredible staff and volunteers in the states. You knocked on more than 2 million doors and had more than 12 million conversations with voters. And to the traveling yes. You deserve a round of applause. And to the traveling team from advanced oppressed you make great events look easy, flawless and you were the road warriors. Now, no one outworked all of you and thats for sure. Im very proud and you should be too because you devoted your days and nights doing the most important job in america. Beating donald trump and working to reclaim our values and rebuild our country. So before i close i wanted to thank our campaigns amazing cochairs among americas most respected and effective leaders, steve benjamin. Greg fisher. Michael tubbs. Darrell bowser. Stephanie murphy. Manny diaz. Gina romando. Bobby rush. Stephanie rowans ray. Antonio vig rosa and of course the incomparable Michael Nutter and i want to thank all the mayors and local leaders and members of commerce and everyone else who believed in us, endorsed our candidacy and who worked hard to unite voters around your vision. This morning i called about 75 of them to say thank you. And it was maybe 75 best conversations i have ever had. They really believed and they were as proud today that theyd endorsed us as the day before, before the voters. Your support and your trust meant the world to me and to them and i look forward to working with all of you in the months and years ahead. You know, i have been doing this for a long time. And every day gets better an i can tell you today im sorry we didnt win but its still the best day of my life and tomorrows going to be even better an i want you to know that. And [ chanting we like mike ] well im glad you do and i hope diana does but thats i also want to thank a few people who did a spectacular job pulling this whole Team Together an managing the campaign. And always giving me honest advice even when i didnt want it. Patty harris, kevin she ky and howard wilson. Now, our campaign there you have it. Michael bloomberg withdrawing himself from the race officially there and endorsing former Vice President joe biden. Basically saying we are going to make him the next president of the United States. Saying that he wants victory in november addressing his team, of course, thanking everybody for their roles in his short lived campaign but i think we all can agree as we were talking on set here that was a Michael Bloomberg that nobody has ever seen before and maybe he should have showed that earlier. May have done better on super tuesday. So lets get into this. Joining us, anchor and senior Business Correspondent Stephanie Ruhle, political reporter Josh Letterman whos been covering the Bloomberg Campaign. And host of democracyish podcast. Josh, im going to start with you. Give us a behind the scenes as youre there. Reporter yeah. This is an irony here in that this is the most raucous crowd for Michael Bloomberg throughout the entire campaign and it is coming as hes actually withdrawing from the race. The room here midtown manhattan is packed with a lot of supporters and his Campaign Staff from his headquarters who came here to see him off. To see him endorse joe biden. A really strong call from Michael Bloomberg for the party to get behind joe biden describing him as someone that worked for the middle class his whole life and best positioned to lead the party to defeat president donald trump. The big question on everyones minds, what does Michael Bloomberg do to help the next democratic nominee get elected . Michael bloomberg said he commits this organization hes built to electing that democratic nominee and a lot of specifics to be worked out an the campaign is taking a beat before they figure out the best way to carry forward. Steph whos that guy . Whos that guy . Watching grease 2. Crying. Emotional. Passionate. I mean, he was the mayor of my city for a very long time. I also never saw that Michael Bloomberg in any of those addresses as new york city mayor. That aside, this is huge for joe biden. He has had a major issue with fund raising in his campaign and sure he was gong to get money after the performance of super tuesday in South Carolina and so on and so forth but nonetheless you cant beat bloomberg coming to money. It is not just money. Think about many people have said this election is going to be win or lost with data. Commercial data. Bloombergs data operation hawk fish, the only thing it competes against the President Trumps. The digital arm of President Trump is extraordinary. Say joe biden had a huge super tuesday and raised cash, it takes a long time to gather that data. Mikes got it. Even if were tacking about before he was running, think about all the philanthropic work of gun control and the environment. He has the registries, the names, the people, knows how to target them and this super charges former vp biden and think of the position it puts the president in. Not a good day for the president. They eere socialists. Look at the market. Ready to go down if Bernie Sanders did so well and not going down this well and the argument of the president out the window. The president s been arguing the greatest economy ever, best markets. We have an emergency rate cut by the fed yesterday as we face more and more corona fears. You have a beloved figure in joe biden, have such a strong super tuesday. Now he is going to be super charged by former mayor Michael Bloomberg and you have the economy getting shakier. It is a rough 48 hours for the president. Stand by, danielle. I want the specifics of this with regards to how exactly this money is used and not like Michael Bloomberg can quite a check and say byebye. He cant coordinate with the Biden Campaign on this and yet has 500 employees from what i understand paying through november and key battleground states. Absolutely. Hes staffed up employees across the battleground states through november and you cant just hand it off and say now youre with the biden team. Even from a super pac perspective, think about the advertising of bloomberg for two months, mostly targeted at the president , exposing the president s insecurities, pushing him on issue after issue. Theres a lot of ads all about trump and then see mikes face. You can pop joes face in there. So theres a lot to go into the mechanics of how he puts his support behind joe biden and doesnt happen overnight and going to happen in a very big way. How does joe biden spin all of this support . He obviously tweeted the thanks to ma your ill take it. Michael bloomberg i cant thank you enough for the support and tireless work. This race is bigger than candidates and politics, and with your help were going to do it but we know mayor Michael Bloomberg is criticized for many policies like stop and frisk in new york city and then was republican and independent and now democrat. How does joe biden spin this . Yes, the money is good but nonetheless bloomberg is criticized a lot. Bloomberg is criticized and i think thats why people did not show up for him. People were willing to say, they were going to take a look at him and then looking at the policies, they didnt like it. Especially black voters which we know are the base of the democratic party. I dont think that biden has to spin this that much. Take Michael Bloombergs money an not be able to defeat donald trump otherwise. Bloomberg put together an incredible media campaign. He blanketed every air wave, every Radio Station in places where joe biden put maybe like 100,000 in. States he didnt set foot in. States he didnt go to, Michael Bloomberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars. Take that apparatus and put that behind joe biden. Joe biden can massachusetts, bloomberg with more offices than Elizabeth Warren and joe biden and joe biden took that state. People stood in line yesterday for hours to cast their vote for him. Stand by. Because the man of the hour, the day as i always say, the week, the month, the year, Steve Kornacki with an update for us on the delegate count. This is outstanding. You can take a look at maine. Check mark, joe biden wins the state of maine. This makes ten, ten primaries now on super tuesday that have gone to joe biden. Narrow margin, getting massachusetts, maine, eight others. Sanders with colorado, with utah, with his home state of vermont and big unreported voting in california. Little bit less than half the vote to come in out there. Big day for joe biden just got bigger. Just an unbelievable day, danielle, that nobody could have really predicted that joe biden would perform to this level. I was completely wrong. I thought that Bernie Sanders to run away with this. I thought that he was going to run the table and last night as im watching the results come in, oh my goodness but it shows you that people right now they dont want a revolution. They want safety, security, a return to normalcy. All of the things that biden said that he would do they want. Can we go back to Steve Kornacki for a moment . One question about exit polling here and hopefully not putting you on the spot but you know everything so it doesnt matter. So with regards to exit polling, an astounding thing is one of the top issues is health care and people asked do you believe in medicare for all . They said, yes. Do you want to get rid of health care . They said yes. But joe biden taking so many states as he did what does that say to you . I was looking to see if we have it in here. Another question is would you like the next president , the democratic nominee, to pursue the same policies of barack obama . More conservative policies than barack obama . More liberal policies than barack obama . The obama policy number was mid40s and 50s in other states, high 50s i believe in north carolina. That was just go to obama policies. And if you added in the less liberal than obama component the numbers rose further. What you see in the issues in the polls, you see sort of conflicting answers. Ideologically to suggest this direction in terms of somebodys vote but possibility, on pragmatism, they may go another way and seeing in these exit polls. Joe biden taking maine, of course. Still awaiting the results of california. Steve kornacki, thank you. Stephanie ruhle, thank you. Josh letterman, danielle moodymills, thank you all. Next, checking in with the biden camp on what the win means for his pac, the nomination. You are watching msnbc. Take prilosec otc and take control of heartburn. You heard nbc projecting that joe biden has won maine and former new york city Michael Bloomberg spoken after dropping out of the race and endorsing the former Vice President. What does this mean for the other candidates still in the running . Lets bring in the nbc news road warriors. Mick memoli in los angeles, shaquille b Shaquille Brewster in and ali vitali. Mike, what a day, what a night for the former Vice President and now hearing the fact that the bloomberg camp is behind him with all of that money and all of that apparatus they set up in the key voting states. Reporter yeah. It is really an incredible change of fortunes here just in the last four days since that big win in South Carolina and then even bigger series of victories last night. Well hear from him in just over about half an hour in the hotel behind me and we expect a number of things on the agenda there. First he is going to be i think in spirit of what we saw on monday night with the endorsements quickly welcoming the support of Michael Bloomberg as the campaign really tries get in party unity mode and heard from the campaign earlier this afternoon on a Conference Call saying nows the time for democrats to unite especially seeing the new attack ads from Bernie Sanders. The Deputy Campaign manager saying we have seen the campaign of Bernie Sanders in the past and cant do that again. This is a moment when joe biden wants to underscore his strength in this race with africanamerican voters, especially with contests coming up like mississippi and the map that continues to be favorable for him in the future and make the point he is the candidate of momentum and a movement of turnout is up. Shaq, Bernie Sanders must be feeling nervous about the bloomberg money going behind biden right now. How is he planning we heard from him in the last hour. Hows he planning to infuse momentum in the Campaign Going forward . Reporter well, thats right. Senator sanders spoke to reporters with a press statement talking about this race and how he is viewing the race. One interesting thing from the press conference is seemed to not know that mayor bloomberg dropped out. Wasnt clear if its a joke or uninformed but when a reporter asked him he said that was news to him. The message that he was trying to make clear is that he sees this as a race between himself and Vice President joe biden. He said it is going to be neck and neck and talked about this primary in the context of a series of months. Listen to the comments that senator sanders how about Vice President biden. Joe biden is somebody i have known for many years. I like joe. I think hes a very decent human being. Joe and i have a very different voting record. Joe and i have a very different vision for the future of this country. And joe and i are running very different campaigns. And my hope is that in the coming months we will be able to debate and discuss the very significant differences that we have. Reporter and despite what you saw yesterday, two quick notes from senator sanders there. He says the winner of the pledge delegates should be the nominee. Hes standing by that despite not having the delegate lead he expected out of super tuesday. He said he did talk to senator Elizabeth Warren earlier today. He said they had a conversation. She is assessing the campaign and she said that he is not putting pressure on her. He respects whatever decision she comes to. Ali, seems as if shaq blew your lead there but take it away with regards to Elizabeth Warren assessing the path forward as her campaign told you. People basically saying she didnt do well last night and no path to the nomination for the senator. What are you hearing with regards to the latest on her campaign . Reporter ill share a lead with shaq, especially using the right wording because reassessing the word of the day out here. An aide saying that the senator was talking with her team and reassessing the path forward. A little bit more of what we know throughout the day, tomorrow they have an allstar call and that is not necessarily an indication that something is imminent. They have those after election nights. But of course everything coming into new light after that super tuesday performance from her last night. Another thing this morning is their Campaign Manager sent an email out to all staff and i want to read a piece of that email. He says senator warrens going to take time right now to think through the right way to continue the fight. The decision is her in hands and important soto have the time and space to consider what comes next. So theres also the reality of the way that this race has come back into play. The Warren Campaign has talked about the trio they thought would be left after super tuesday and thought it was going to be Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and joe biden. They were right on that front but listening to the we that the biden and Bernie Sanders campaign talking about they want it to be a twoperson race. Right now Elizabeth Warren is still in this race. So i know that they want it to be a twoperson race. It is not there yet. One other thing to point out is all of us keep in touch with voters we meet on the campaign trail. I do that. We heard from a devoted warren fan in New Hampshire this morning saying she doesnt regret the warren vote and right now shes feeling pigeon holed between someone electable in this case joe biden and someone with them on the issues and in this case Bernie Sanders. The irony is Elizabeth Warrens whole pitch is that she wanted to be the person who could do both of those things, pitching herself as electable and as a progressive on the issues so it is interesting that she is the person trying to be the bridge there and voters feeling like they no longer have that choice. I know youre going to watch that story develop for us. Thank you so much. Thank you, guys, as well. Coming up next, breaking news. A 11th coronavirus death. The first in california. California now reporting its first death, an elderly adult with Underlying Health conditions who may have gotten the virus on a princess cruise ship. This bringing the total number of deaths of 11. Moments ago Vice President pence who is heading up the u. S. Response to the virus left a briefing an announced screening for some international travelers. Watch this. Now as of yesterday morning all passengers on all direct flights from all airports in italy or south korea are being screened on multiple times before they board any of these airlines. And now airlines in the United States, theyre making changes, as well. Want do get to tom costello covering aviation for us with an up date on this. Top, whats going on here . This is a very Big Development and that is that United Airlines is under significant pressure because of this virus spreading around the world and a drop in demand. Keep in mind they shut down all of their flights to china as you know as well as many flights into other cities in asia and now United Airlines says it will be canceling 10 of its flights in north america. The United States and canada in april and maybe may. Thats in the United States and canada. 20 of Flights Canceled internationally in april and may. And well see what happens into the summer. Theyre offering unpaid leave to employees. Coming up immediately. So employees want unpaid leave to help take the pressure off, theyll take advantage of that. If you look at airline stocks, theyre down anywhere from 30 to 40 from the year to date high and that is because of largely the coronavirus. Now, the airline ceos met with the president earl yeier today conveyed the concerns of the bottom lines and keep in mind the big picture here. We have the cruise ships quarantined an conferences canceled, Corporate Travel cut back and employee travel, study abroad programs canceled and all of that putting deep pressure on the United Airlines. So far no word on whether any other Airline Might follow suit but waiving change and cancelation fees through the end of the march and could continue through the following few months and into the summer and see how the coronavirus plays out. But really i cant underscore enough. In the words of United Airlines, unprecedented to cut 10 of the domestic flights and 20 of international. You would think International Flights cut because of the spread of the coronavirus and then the domestic flights with the economic pressure. I have one more stat for you. Go ahead. Lufthansa, grounding 20 of their planes. Grounding them. Putting them on the ramp and not flying because of the impact on one of the biggest carriers in the world. As much as we want it to wrap up, seems like theres no ebnd n sight. Thank you so much for that reporting on this. Also this afternoon, congressional negotiators agreeing to an 8. 3 billion coronavirus package including Vaccine Development an state an local governments. Leeann caldwell joining me from capitol hill. This is astounding because this is essentially a two and a half times bigger than what the president proposed for coronavirus. Now 8. 3. Reporter yeah. Thats exactly right. Started at 2. 5 billion, what the administration wanted and then Chuck Schumer the democratic leader in the senate came back with an 8. 5 billion figure. Republicans scoffed at that at first but then receiving these regular briefings from Administration Officials and even the Vice President and it seems like republicans have come around to that number and that 8 billion range and what they settled on. Heres what it does. Theres going to be 3 billion for vaccines, the creation of a vaccine. And then theres 2 billion for prevention and preresponse and then there another billion dollars for supplies, like masks and test kits and those sorts of things. Something that democrats are also really excited about is they got into this bill the fact that if you cant afford this vaccine youre going to get this vaccine anyway so they set aside money to pay for people who cant afford the vaccine and who need it. And the house of represent ativs is going to vote on this any minute. Can you give me a brief asezment of what lawmakers feel right now with regards to this potential outbreak here in the United States . Yeah. Well, theyre taking it extremely seriously and that is very evidenced by the fact that we expect a large majority of republicans and democrats to vote for this massive funding bill. A lot of times funding bills in congress are controversial but expected to pass and expected to pass easily. But then theres thats where the partisanship comes in after this. They keep getting the briefings from the administration and democrats leave these briefings having so many more questions. They get some answers but they want things like the Global Health office to be refunded, something that the administration has unfunded. The Trump Administration did. And they are wanting a much more robust response. They have a lot of more questio questions include they cant get a straight answer on when a vaccine is going to be provided. They keep getting different answers and so theyre taking this extremely seriously. The top leaders in congress, mcconnell, schumer, pelosi and mccarthy, they just had a briefing on what to do if the coronavirus hits the capitol complex. That was a classified briefing and dont know what happened there. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Good seeing you. Lets get into this. And the coronavirus in general. Dr. Joseph fair, an epidemiologist, virologist and msnbc medical contributor. Thank you for joining us on this. Absolutely. The media accused with regard to the coronavirus of hyping it up and making it more dramatic. Are you nervous . At this point in time, just given the data that we have, i emphasize the data that we have and the majority of the data out of china increasingly south korea and italy, im not that concerned myself. I dont think its the end of the world virus that wipes out humanity. We will have a significant number of deaths and not to be taken lightly but, no. How would you assess this 8. 3 billion package basically giving funding to development of vaccine and dr. Fauci said this morning in testimony to take a year and a half, basically a year and a half to the point in which the public could feasibly be getting a vaccine in the arm for the coronavirus . He said phase one of developing in the next couple of months and wont see it on the Public Market for a year and a half and state and local assistance, as welt. Thats a good start but not enough because its going to encompass diagnostics, Vaccine Development. Vaccines take five to 20 years to develop so this is literally unprecedented effort and Safety Measures and trials which we cannot bypass to get a vaccine out into the public. First rule of med is do no harm and injecting someone and causes adverse effects that would be a disaster. Lets talk about the mortality rate with this thing here. Higher than the flu. Right now the World Health Organization assessing the mortality rate at 3. 4 , fairly high. Im not a physician to be saying that. Yeah. First, is that accurate . You feel like in your sense, 3. 4 . It is accurate but a description of how we calculate case fatality rates, theyre variables and not constants. The higher end thats in the highest risk group an going to average that threep to 4 maybe and then that bah da that primarily out of china in roughly 20 of the population that is the most at risk, elderly with underlying conditions, immuno compromised for a reason. The other people that are young, healthy, even children, the case fatality rate in developed health systems, so south korea is a great example, they have a great health system, their case fatality rate for the average 80 percentile mild to moderate disease is. 5 . The seasonal flu by comparison is. 1 . There are a lot of people that have had the mild case of coronavirus. The first case here in new york city was a woman who just returned traveling from iran and stayed in the apartment. Not quite sure what has happened since but in Good Condition it seems. Had a mild case of the coronavirus. Yeah. Is there a possibility, because this thing first showed up in china and late november, is there a possibility that there have been people that had the coronavirus, recovered from the coronavirus and never known it in this country . Almost undoubtedly so. We were focused on people coming from china in the beginning without paying attention to south korea and italy and everyone else that had traveled from china to those places so while it may have originated in china other place that is we werent focused on and not screening for came into the United States and yes of course. Once we do the backtracking and what we call the molecular epidemiology or disease detective work well find cases here before. Thank you for your words. Appreciate this. Thank you. All right. For the up to the minute updates on the coronavirus, head to the live blog. On sunday by the way, Richard Engel goes inside the fight to contain the coronavirus from hong kong to washlington, d. C. Former Vice President joe bietden definitely had a super, duper tuesday with big wins in ten states and sweeping support across the south. Its a comeback for biden who woke up friday with just one primary win. Biden leading with 52 delegates. Shifting this into essentially a twoman race. Biden has score under dorsements from three former competitors. Bloomberg, klobuchar and buttigieg. Still in the race Elizabeth Warren. And begs the question f she drops out, whos going to benefit . A recent poll showing sanders is seconds choice for a 40 of warren supporters and 16 would choose biden or thencandidate buttigieg. And joining me, alma adams, a surrogate for the biden camp. Thank you so much. Joining me this afternoon. Good seeing you. Thank you for having me. Magener dorsement from t major endorsement from the former new york city mayor. I think its going to help the camp tremendously. Help joe get over this finish line and were excited about it. What a difference a day makes. As you said before he was way down, he had hed only won one and so now, look, hes storming on through South Carolina, north carolina, tennessee, virginia. Hes on his way to the white house. Congresswoman, the former Vice President was not necessarily the best performing candidate up until South Carolina. What i mean by that is his debate performances. Going forward he is likely going to be on a debate stage with senator Bernie Sanders. If he makes it and gets the nomination, he is going to be on the debate stage with the president of the United States. What is the campaign doing to prepare the former Vice President for that moment . Well, i think the more you hear joe, the better he gets. Clearly hes in the Community Talking to people one on one. Those kinds of things i think help him as well. He cant help but be excited. And the enthusiasm has win building. I think these wins have been big for him. Theyre going to help propel him and the campaign is preparing him. Hell be ready and hell beat trump. Why do you think it took so long for so many law makers to get behind the former viesz president . Why not before the primary races . Maybe he would have performed better there im not sure about that. But i think there were so many candidates out here. People were supporting several points of views, from different candidates. And so, i dont think it really hurt him. I think it really helped him because i think it gave him the strength he needed, the confidence, the added confidence he needed. And also the fact that people were able to not only see him grow, but to now become a part of what we know will be a successful run for him. The former Vice President said during an nbc debate, when asked by chuck todd, he basically asked him should the person with the most delegates be the nominee . He said no, let the process work out. Do you think hes feing going t regret that . I dont know if he will or not. Things change. Peoples attitudes change. Peoples opinions change. So, right now were focussed on winning this race. Were focussed on the vision that he has for the people and were going to turn out for him. We love joe and, at the end of the day, when its all said and done, money cant buy you love. So, clearly joe clearly, we love him, we respect him. We know him and we know what hes done and what hell be able to do. So, were on the same team and that were excited about it. Africanamericans really turned out for him. Africanamerican women did. Weve had a lot of experience with his work, not only with our great president obama and so were excited. Were excited. Its 4 00 in new york on the first day of the rest of the democratic primary competition that now looks very much like a twoman race between joe biden and Bernie Sanders. Joe biden with a super tuesday sweep of ten states and counting that typically only comes after millions are spent in political ads, Campaign Staff, field offices, ground game and travel in the contested states.
