Be . Trayvon benjamin martin. It was my opinion he was still alive and in pain and in suffering. Trayvon martin did cause his own death. What i hope for is this would have never happened. I feel like it was all gods plan. Power shift underway in egypt. Very noisy. Very boisterous. The countrys military opened fire on supporters of president Mohamed Morsi. The United States should not be supporting this coup. Thanks again for joining us. We have a great show for you today. We are going to begin with an update for San Francisco where flight 214 in route from seoul crash landed at San Francisco international airport. The tail of the plane was ripped off. Using emergency slides passengers were evacuated within minutes after impact. The plane began billowing large plumes of smoke. Of the 307 passengers and crew all have accounted for. We know passengers were killed. Both teenage girls headed to the United States from china. While many others are in Critical Condition and some paralyzed. We are awaiting a press conference scheduled to begin at about 4 30 eastern time. For the latest we are joined by noel walker. Thanks for joining me. What is the latest at this point in San Francisco at the airport there . Reporter the plane is still behind me. We are stuck in time. They are going to keep it there right now. This is the ntsb says their first chance to get a look at what is happening by the light of day. They arrived here and got to the plane at about midnight. They combed through that and recovered the black boxes, sent them with with an escort. Probably within the next 24 hours we could get our first look at what those black boxes hold, if any kind of information. Preliminary reports we could get within the next 24 hours. We have six people still in Critical Condition in hospitals here in the bay area. Among those one child. We are also told that two people in this crash are likely facing paralysis. With regard to the investigation yesterday we did see Police Officers kind of do a sweep of the area. I know there have been some concerns that some of the forensic evidence that they might be looking for today, overnight it may have because of the conditions out there that it could have corroded in some ways. What are they looking for today there on the ground . Reporter they need to see they need to keep this plane in place with the wreckage trail in place. They are looking at a number of factors. They will look at the weather which many there were just 8 Miles Per Hour winds. They are going to look at the airport conditions. The landing instrument system for the run way has been off since june 1 for run way construction. They want to know if that played any role in it because that helps guide pilots into landing in the run way. They want to know whether the pilots realized that the instrument system was out and if it played a role in the crash. They will also want to talk to the pilots and they have many passengers who can give accounts of what happened. Many of the passengers we have spoken to throughout the last 24 hours it seems no one was aware at least in the passenger section of the plane that anything was wrong until things went wrong. They say there was no indication from the pilot that they needed to brace for an emergency landing. They just landed splat on the run way and then skidded. Last question for you quickly, we havent heard much about the pilots. Do we know where they are at this point . We do not know where they are at this point. We know the investigators will want to speak to them. We know people were flying here in order to cooperate in the investigation and do their own investigation into the crash. Thank you. I want to bring in jay raulens, a retired American Airlines pilot and a former naval aviator. Thank you for joining me today. My pleasure. I grew up in the bay area. As a passenger every time i was on a plane landing in San Francisco airport this kind of crash is exactly what i always worried would happen because the sea wall comes up quickly. You have the water and even when it is a clear day there are wind issues and you can see that, the wind on the water there. As a pilot, talk to us a little bit about the challenge of landing on this particular run way. Well, i guess the comparison would be la guardia. That is a lot more challenging because the run ways are short and it is built over the water. San francisco has long run ways. The major problem around San Francisco are the mountains. That particular approach to that run way is over no obstacles whatsoever, just open water. That wouldnt ordinarily be a problem. What about the wind sheer, it meant there were some in some of the accounts that we have read from people who witnessed the crash saw the plane seem to wobble back and forth. Is that wind or pilot air . What would cause Something Like that . Wind can do that. I dont think this was a wind sheer problem. The other big thing that can make the wings wobble is if the aircraft gets too slow. The aircraft is starting to fall out of the sky and it becomes uncontrollable. To that point, that is one of the theories we have learn at this point in time that it came in low and slow. Do you think that is likely the explanation at this point . I think there are two major possibilities that they will probably explore. The first is what you just said that if the aircraft got too slow for whatever reason whether pilot inattentiveness or some mechanical problem either one that allowed the aircraft to get too slow you can have a situation develop. The other situation would be a mechanical problem. Most people are comfortable that the boeing 777 is one of the safest airliners that we have and the Safety Record is very good. But it does behoove us to remember that in 2008 there was a very similar crash in london that the aircraft, 777 approached the run way and ended up landing 1,000 feet short of the run way causing major damage. That was caused because of the mechanical failure that caused both engines to quit. We have a press conference scheduled coming up. Im curious to get your take on what kind of questions if you were investigating this incident what questions would you have at this point . Well, most of the questions would revolve around what they discovered if anything from looking at the wreckage and from any interviews that they have had with the cockpit crew. Im certain that they have spoken with them at this point. The question is whether they are going to let us know what they have learned through those interviews. They are going to take what those pilots say and then compare that to what the black box says about the arrival and the voice recorder and put those three things together as well as the lay out of the debris field. Theyll be able, i believe, to come to a fairly quick conclusion of whether this was pilot error or mechanical problem. One of the things that we heard about, the 777 is a popular aircraft known for safety. Over time if there is a Positive Side to these kinds of accidents we learn more about the construction of aircraft to ensure the safety of the people. One thing is how remarkable it is that so many people were able to exit the plane and there has not been a greater loss of life. Are you surprised by that or would you say that is a testament to the kinds of changes we have seen structurally to aircraft over time . Absolutely. I think there is no industry that takes safety as seriously as a Aviation Industry in every aspect from the design of the airports and the construction of the aircraft. The construction that they tend to go for these days is a paige arrangement. They try to build the aircraft so the emetal on the outside and landing gear will take the brunt of any crash. Even the seats, the legs of the seats are designed so that they have some give so even if you hit the ground hard hopefully it minimizes breaking backs and other injuries because the seats do give some. So, yes, the design of the aircraft and also the excellent job the flight attendants did in evacuating this aircraft. Thank you so much. Youre welcome. Weve got plenty ahead on egypt, immigration and the George Zimmerman trial. We are going to continue to follow developments out of San Francisco where we expect an ntsb press conference in just a few minutes. The unrest in egypt continues as supporters and opponents of deposed president Mohamed Morsi took to the streets again today. At least 36 people have been killed and thousands injured since the violence on wednesday. They shot dout down a number ofa outlets. Just as the rest of the interim government was beginning to take shape there were signs of instability. It was initially announced an interim prime minister. The u. S. Embassy in cairo will be closed tomorrow due to security concerns. Joining me now Political Editor for the pbs thews hour. Thanks to you both. Hi, karen. Thanks, karen. Christina, this debate over the semantics of a coup. There are legal implications to that. We heard senator mccain referring to it as a coup. We are going to listen to john mccain from this morning and then talk aboutt it on the other side. I believe that we have to suspend aid until such time as there is a new constitution and a free and fair election. The fact is the United States should not be supporting this coup. Why is this distinction so important both politicly and legally . It is really about the United States wanting to decide how people are viewing the west in egypt right now. I mean the New York Times had a great story today looking at morsis last hours in power and sort of how he viewed it. He got calls from top people who were go betweens with the United States and really the sense that the message was trying to be massaged by the United States about how it was viewed. This is exactly why because there is so much political pressure on this administration when you look at what is happening all across this world. Arent there also implications, if it is a coup that sets off certain legal ramifications with regard to aid. Our aid has been part of leverage that we had with the military particularly with the government in particularly maintaining treaties with israel. Absolutely. There is 1. 5 billion in annual aid at risk here. 200 million annually in economic aid. If we are the ones suspending it, in the short term in washington it doesnt mean anything because appropriatuations process has gone through for the year. It does effect our relations with egypt. Generals keep saying dont suspend the aid. The perception is very important to them internationally and at risk is frankly the peace treaty with israel which is the whole reason behind this aid. There is also at risk the massage through the suez canal for military ships which is worth millions a year for the u. S. Military. There are down sides to suspending the aid for washington and the pentagon. One of the other concerns that have been raised with regard to the Muslim Brotherhood and sort of the calls potentially for violence. We have a sound from the Muslim Brotherhood spokesman from this week earlier today on the program this week and i think we are going to play that for you. And then i want to talk a little bit about the potential that some are raising saying they dont want to participate in the government Going Forward, that they could become an insurgency. There is no plan b. We stick by our principles. We return the president back to his rightful place or they are going to have to shoot us in the streets. I will stand in front of that tank. It strikes me, the administration, the second term this is not what they want to focus on, when you hear Something Like that it means the United States is going to have to be engaged and stay engaged perhaps more directly than we were the last time. This is also you have to look at this in context of what is happening across the entire region. This is as the United States is talking about arming rebels in syria and what you see as the reverberations from the arab spring. These are Big Questions about what the United States wants to do to get involved. And dont forget this is a group that has come through washington many times trying to work its i dont want to say lobbying, but work its influence on washington. I know last year we focused a lot on the role of the generals. Last year you did a cover story on the generals in egypt. What role do you see them playing Going Forward . Some have suggested that they may try to hold on to power although they were pretty quick to let go of power last time. They were quick to transition into an interim government. With the level of unrest that we continue to see do we expect the military to continue to play a very strongarmed role in this government . Military wants to get out of the business of governing soon as possible. When i did my cover story i was talking to a lot of the generals which are sort of the main generals that run the committee of generals that runs egypt. They were saying we are going to relinquish power. They dont like being the bad guys. They dont like governing. Whom ever governs egypt will be perceived as a bad guy because you have to do unpopular things like morsi is doing. Things that are really tough. And so they dont want to be the ones making those decisions. They want to put in a new government as quickly as possible so that government can be the target of the protests on the streets. Its so hard to be in charge. Christine a, i want to talk to the agenda this week. It looks like from what we heard this morning they will try the peace meal approach instead of the comprehensive approach. Its what the American People want. They dont want a comprehensive bill like what we saw with obama care that passed in the middle of the night. Now we are seeing what all of the problems are with the bill. What it Senate Passed was again a bunch of candy thrown down there to gain votes. We want a smart border and a smart immigration plan. Christina, it seems like you cant have it both ways. Throwing candy on the border on one hand. The other hand more calls for more order on the border and insisten insistence. It sounds like what we are hearing is the setup for an excuse as to why the house is not going to being able to pass an Immigration Reform legislation and it dies. There are two ways to look at this. A lot of the immigration advocacy groups say they remain confident. It is probably not going to be exactly what the Senate Passed before it went out of town for the fourth of july recess. A lot of groups are working behind the scenes, pulling things together on the house side. You had the socalled group of eight. It became the group of seven after congressman from idaho dropped out. There are factions of people coming together on this. You didnt see that with obama care and some of the other big deals. It was a product of leadership behind closed doors. You have a lot of people playing a part in it and so many different groups that are for what the senate just passed. What is very interesting to me is the timeline. You have a big meeting planned on wednesday and eric cantor said on friday that he will probably put this on the floor in july. Boehners office has suggested many times that this could be the fall before it happens. No one is in a big rush here. What does that mean for the prospects of actual passage . It is unclear at this point. I am going to remain hopeful that the groups will help make it happen. Thank you. Thanks, karen. We have a lot more ahead including that ntsb presser live from San Francisco coming up in just a few moments. This is disrupt on msnbc. We continue to await the ntsb news presserer from San Francisco. We are going to bring that to you as soon as gets underway. For now we will talk about a dramatic week in the florida murder trial. Sybrina fulton testified that the screaming voice on the 911 call is the sound of her son pleading for his life. Hours later George Zimmermans mother took the stand with a very different account. Who do you recognize that to be . Trayvon martin. Whose voice was that . My son, george. The prosecution has rested its case and the defense prepares for the first full day of testimony tomorrow. I am joined by veteran prosecutor paul henderson, contributor Goldie Taylor and columnist. Paul, i want to start with you. What should we expect next week as the defense begins to make its case . What are you going to be listening for . Is that to me . Yes. I just got audio. I am looking for the defense to come in and try to attack all of the evidence that they have heard this week that the prosecution has put on. They started off by putting on zimmermans family and relatives to talk about that was his voice on the tape. Next what we will see are their science experts and their experts attacking the objective evidence that we have in this case to try to diminish some of the damage that the prosecution evidence that indicates inconsistencies with what zimmermans version has been. The question is whether or not zimmerman will get on the stand. I just dont it doesnt seem likely to me. I dont think it is going to happen but you just never know. Do you think that having both trayvons mother and then having zimmermans mother say it was her son, the goal of that seemed to me to kind of have the two cancel each other out because it was such an emotional moment in the trial . I think that was the purpose but from my perspective as a prosecutor and as a member of the community i feel like it kind of leans more towards trayvon. It is his mother on the stand. There is so much surrounding her testimony. There is so much surrounding the emotions and her reaction to having to listen to that tape and watch it. And then to testify and say that that is my son whose voice that i hear. This is the last time i will hear that voice because my child is dead. I dont know how this panel cant be influenced by that. And i think if you are going weigh the testimony of the two mothers that testimony was pretty powerful and is going to leave a lasting impression with him. There was one particular portion of sabrinas testimony that was particularly striking. Lets take a listen. Imagine it was probably one of the worst things you went through to listen to that tape, correct . Absolutely. And that if it was your son, in fact, screaming as you testified that would suggest it was mr. Zimmermans fault that led to his death, correct . Correct. And if it was not your son screaming, if it was in fact George Zimmerman then you would have to accept the probability that it was Trayvon Martin who caused his own death, correct . I dont understand your question. Now, goldie, i was very uncomfortable with that exchange. I will speak to their credit when zimmermans mother was on the stand they had a similar kind of question for her. What was omara getting out with that line of questioning for sabriybrina fulton. You dont want to believe that your son was out to do no good that night. I think if you use omaras logic then you have to ask mrs. Zimmerman if you dont hear your son on this tape dont you have to see your son as a murderer. That is a difficult thing on either side. For him to ask her if she believes her son caused her own death. Had he not gotten out of the car, what did Trayvon Martin do to cause George Zimmerman to follow him. At the end of the day sybrina fultons testimony i think was much more powerful than mrs. Zimmerman. It was more powerful to have trayvons brother on the stand. It said we are a normal middle class family. We are a College Educated family. We are not street thugs. We are working class people who are doing our best to survive every day. I think that was the more powerful statement, the thing not said on the stand. You have been covering this from the very beginning. One of the things that has been striking back in the very beginning. It is important context for what we are hearing now and the way the rest of the case is going to unfold. There were questions about how the Police Department had handled this case. There has been a history of tur mlt between the black community and the Police Department. People want to understand why Attorney Benjamin Crump and the Martin Family sort of just raised hell about the fact that George Zimmerman hadnt been arrested is because of the history. George zimmerman had not been arrested for 44 days after february 26th. And a lot of people around the country once Benjamin Crump got the media to Pay Attention to the story, a lot of people objectively took a step back and thought how is it possible that a teenager who was unarmed can be shot and killed by a guy with a loaded gun and not be in jail, not be held accountable for what happened. To that point, i think that is part of why this case has really taken on broader sort of cultural impact. Set aside the particulars about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin there is something deeper in terms of what the note that this case is sort of hitting for people. You know, i have always said that on the one hand this is about what happened between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman that night but it is about that and it is about a lot more. At the end of the day you have a young man, 17 years old who was on a candy run who is followed by an armed man, is engaged. We dont know what happened after that but then shot. And so if i am a mom, if i am a father and i have my kid who is at 7 00 in the evening which is no ones curfew in this country, how can we trust that our children are going to be safe . There are large questions around this that have just to do with George Zimmerman and what control he had that night. Really quickly to you, one of the things that has struck me in the case particularly over the last week is the forensics. As jonathan was pointing out, some of the issues initially excuse me, guys. I hate to do this. We are going to leave you now and go straight to the press conference by the ntsb in San Francisco. Fire department staff, Police Department staff and all the First Responders who responded i want to report that as of 30 minutes ago run way 28 right is back in service. So three of our four run ways are back in service. We are handling about 32 to 33 landings per hour. That is equivalent to our normal weather condition with a lot of clouds. We will be experiencing delays but it is a more normal level of delays experienced. I want to particularly thank mayor lee for his leadership. He was here all day yesterday and again today supporting our efforts. Now i would like to turn it over to mayor lee before the ntsb reports on their efforts. Thank you everyone for being here this afternoon for this update and report. And as john martin said earlier we are now handing the investigation and has been taken over by the National Transportation safety board. Before i do that i just want to also give my personal thanks to the First Responders. We have been listening very carefully to the doctors and nurses reports out of various bay area hospitals this morning. Clearly from the doctors perspectives, particularly those that are treating the critically injured from the crash yesterday, they are very appreciative that as chaotic, as dangerous as the crash incident site was yesterday, they are using the words miraculous and remarkable that the persons that were brought to them with serious injuries that are surviving very serious injuries were the result of very, very good triage work that was done at the crash site with the various transportation modes that were used to bring them directly to the hospitals. This is going to be the injuries that they have notified us about that they are treating, they are saying that but for that triage work that was done at the crash site, some of these victims would not have survived as they are now. I will be going over there to give my own comfort to those that are still under treatment but that is the assessment that the doctors are giving us. Having said that i also want to say that there is quite a high number of people that have responded in addition to the First Responders. United airlines and special efforts were given to them flying additional personnel in from chicago along with their partner asiana airlines. They have been treating the passeng passenge passengers all through the evening this morning. And then i want to also give acknowledgment to the airport accommodations unit that has been helping other stranded passengers find their way to some comfort as the flights are cancelled. In addition i want to thank the San Francisco airport eoc. I have been with them this morning. They have been up all evening helping and assisting everyone at the airport get to a level of comfort. They have been working really hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. Even though we experience a high number of Flight Cancellations working at a very high level. There are as john martin said earlier the run way is now cleared on 28 right. Also want to thank the extra custodians that were brought in to work with the ntsb to clear that run way so that it can be used. As chaotic as the site was yesterday i think a number of miracles occurred to save many more lives. With that well answer a few questions around this aspect of it before turning over to deborah, chair of the ntsb. I know they havent cleared off the other run way yet. What is going to be done to make sure that particular run way is safe for aircraft to land on . This is an example where we really defer to the ntsb. They have an investigative process that they need to go through. They need to give us clearance. So we are going to defer to their process of investigation before we initiate efforts to reopen that final run way. Yesterday all of the systems that were required were operability, operating under clear weather conditions and using visual flight rules and systems required for run way use were fully functional yesterday. Everything that was required the faa determines what equipment is required to use the run ways under any given condition. In this situation all of the systems required were in use. I would say we have an ils system made up of a localizer and glide scope indicator. The glide scope indicator was not functional. Neither of these items were required nor in use given yesterdays operations. Were those operable yesterday. I dont have that information. Would you say a seasoned pilot thats the primary method under yesterdays conditions. We did have augmenting that a Precision Approach monitoring system, which is a supplemental system. At this time i am going to turn it over to the ntsb chair person. Thank you. On behalf of all of the Board Members and the staff at the ntsb we offer our condolences to those families who lost a loved one in this crash and our thoughts go out to those who are hospitalized for a speedy recovery. I am here to provide our first on scene update of the crash that occurred yesterday here at San Francisco involving asiana flight 214. We had our organizational meeting this morning. Those people that can provide expertise to investigators as well as individuals working on the scene since the crash occurred. We outlined the work that we intended to accomplish today. Im going to talk to you about some of the work that has been completed and some of the work that is in progress. First i would like to share with you a preliminary review or audition of the voice recorder. We had investigators that arrived on scene. Last night they were escorted by federal air marshall. They were met by investigators in washington, d. C. This morning. They were taken to our lab in washington and read out. We had good data on the fdr and cdr. And from a preliminary audition im going to give you some high points. The cvr was a two hour recording. It was of good quality. The recording began while the aircraft was in cruise flight two hours out. The flight is cleared for the visual approach to run way 28 left. This is confirmed by the crew. The aircraft was configured for approach, again, this is based on the cockpit voice recorder, the communications between the crew and the cockpit. The aircraft was configured for approach with the flaps at 30 degrees and the gear down. The target speed for the approach was 137 knots. The approach proceeds, there is no discussion of any aircraft anomalies or concerns with the approach. A call from one of the crew members to increase speed was made approximately seven seconds prior to impact. The sound of the stick shaker occurs approximately four seconds prior to impact. What i just gave you was a brief recap of what our team in washington heard on the cockpit voice recorder when they aditioned it. There are 24 hours of recorded data on the flight data recorded. There are 1,400 parameters of recorded data. This flight data recorder captured the entire flight. During the approach the data indicates that the throttles were at idle and air speed was slowed below the target air speed. The throttles are advanced a few seconds prior to impact and the engines appear to respond normally. Again, i have just given you a brief summary of what our team found today as theaditioned. First the cockpit voice recorderer. I am going to talk to you a little bit about the 777 and give you basic facts about the aircraft. This was an asiana 777. The tail number was hl 7742. As far as manufacturing it was line number 553 off the line. The factory rollout was in february of 2006 and the delivery occurred approximately one month later. It is equipped with with whitney pw 4090 engines. It has about 36,000 hours. And the aircraft has about 5,000 cycles. The delivery was configured for 303 seats. 32 of those are in business and 271 are economy seats. Boeing has delivered over 1,100 777s. Of the 777 200 e. R. Type they delivered 421 of those. Of the aircraft that are equipped with 777s equipped with the 4,000 series engines that number is 169. The 777s equipped with ge 90 series engines. There are 721 of those. And there are 777s equipped with rolls royce trent series engined those number 223. The engine entered service in june of 1995. We had our organizational meeting today. We talked about the site securement since the accident. We have received excellent cooperation from San Francisco airport officials with respect to securing the accident site since the accident and during the overnight hours. Airport Emergency Operations were activated. Today they were in the process of removing any hazmat or any materials from the site that could be of risk to our investigators and responders. So they are doing that today. We have received excellent support from the fbi both here in San Francisco and from teams that have travelled. The Evidence Response Team is helping us to document the accident site. We also have teams from the field office that are here to help us as well as hazmat experts from the fbi. We are receiving excellent support from our federal, state and local partners. We really appreciate that. We have worked really hard to get 28 right, cleared and reopened today. So mayor lee i know you and the airport officials were glad to see that run way reopened. We know that this has inconvenienced a lot of travellers. We respect that they have many challenges associated with moving on. So we are working to complete our work as fast as we can to get the airport back to full strength. I want to tell you about some of the other groups about activities. We have an Operations Group focused on crew and operations issues. They are going to evaluate the geography of the site, document the instruments, cockpit seats, wind shields. They will be looking at flight plans, at flight kits, at the information that the crew have to make decisions. The overall conditions in the aircraft and in the cockpit, how they might have evacuated. We are going to be looking closely at Flight Training and operations manuals, at the crews experience, the flight Management System and the flight management computer. The cockpit configuration. There has been a lot of discussion about stabilized approaches and we are going to be looking at that very closely. We do hope to interview the crew within the next few days. We have a power plants team taking a look at the engines. They are going to be documenting general conditions, taking a lot of photographs. They can tell through their examinations whether or not the engine was rotating at the time of the crash. So they will be looking to document that and the conditions any evidence if there was any fire that might have originated in the engines. There are electronic modules, devices that do record faults. They will be looking at the health and the trending of the engines. They will likely be doing an engine tear down that will likely take place in connecticut at a later point in time. We have survival factors team out on the scene doing an initial site survey. They have beent at this for hours. Today there is an extensive debris field that they are documenting. They want to locate the four corners of the wreckage. They are going to be looking through the wreckage field to identify important parts. They have documented the location of the rest of the two fatalities. They will be working to document the seating positions of those who were injured. We want to identify preliminary injury patterns, interview survivors as well as conduct cabin crew interviews. We are going to evaluate the use of the slides, their deployment, their use and their performance in this sequence and we are going to be documenting occupant restraint use and also whether child safety seats were used. We talk about the airport i know we have the experts. With respect to airport operations behind us i will give you a brief thumbnail of what we are looking at when we are looking at run way 28 left in San Francisco. There are about 1,200 operations per day, three quarters of those are commercial operations. There are two sets of intersecting run ways. Run ways 119 left and right and run ways 1028 left and right. The threshold elevation of 28 left remember the run way that we are focused on now is 28 left is 13 feet above sea level. It is 11,381 feet long. The faa this morning requested a flight test to evaluate the equipment on the run way from a test aircraft. They were able to validate the localizer. As you all know the glide slope was issued in a notice to air men that it would be out of service from june 1 to august 22. So the glide slope was out of service and there were no returns from the glide slope detected by the test aircraft. There were also Precision Approach path indicator lights that were available to the crew. However, on run way 28 left those were significantly damaged in the crash sequence. And so after the crash the as n asiana aircraft those were put in a notice to air men that the lights were out of service. That occurred post crash. They will be looking at all of the approach lights. They will be documenting the run way markings, lighting and conditions. They will be evaluating construction activities taking place on the airport property. We are looking at Emergency Response. This is the post crash response. Our deployed or the airport rescue and Fire Fighting operations deployed 23 responders and nine vehicles after the crash. Well be looking to determine the effectiveness of the response, how they organized site safety and security, how the fire was extinguished and whether or not there were rescues made crew or passengers from inside the aircraft and with respect to the triage what took place outside of the aircraft after the passengers and crew exited. We still have with respect to the Emergency Response to conduct interviews with the operators and we are also seeking video, video from the airport and also video on the fire trucks. We are looking to obtain that, as well. We have Human Performance investigator. What he will be doing is looking at the performance of the crew. We typically do a 72hour work rest history. We expect drug and Alcohol Testing to be done. We will be looking at things like fatigue, medication use and sleep disorders, Human Factors are very extensive. We will be looking at crew Resource Management or crm. This is how the crew worked together, how they communicate, how they follow procedures. We will look at crew monitoring and we will look at crew coordination. The weather on the day of the accident, at the time of the accident winds were from the southwest at 210, at 7 knots with ten miles visibility. There were no reports of wind sheer or adverse conditions reported. Air Traffic Control. They gave the crew of the asiana flight a visual clearance.
