He built this economy. Some people actually give him credit for it. Listen, america created 1. 5 million more jobs in the last year of the Obamabiden Administration than in the first three years of the trumppence administration. Their first three years fell short of our last three, and that was before he could blame the pandemic. Listen to that covid clap back with the horns. Joe biden also knocked donald trump on his handling of the covid crisis while stumping in pennsylvania. You know whats really sad about this . The president knew this back in february. He lied to us. He told us he hadnt read the intelligence reports that showed how bad this was, how deadly the virus was. They didnt tell us about the virus, the administration gave wall street investors, though, a heads up. He didnt tell us, he just told his wall street friends. Meanwhile, trump was in the spring state of wisconsin where he not only downplayed the virus, but, get this, he is now questioning the motives of frontline doctors. If somebody is terminally ill with cancer and they have covid, we report them, and doctors get more money and hospitals get more money. Think of this incentive. So some countries do it differently. If somebody is very sick with a bad heart, they die of covid, they dont get reported as covid so then you wonder, gee, i wonder why their cases are so low. This comes with news that at least four close advisers to Vice President mike pence including his chief of staff, have tested positive for the virus. Pence himself has tested negative according to his office and will continue campaigning in person. Joining me now is errin haines, editor at large for the 19th and mississippi contributor, tara dowdell, paola ramos author of finding latinx and alexa mchammon. How are you doing, alexei . Hi. Good to see you. I want to start off with you first. One of the things were seeing right now is joe biden in going in pennsylvania, going to georgia and looking at the Different Campaign stops that hes doing. Are there places that he may be missing that was basically that Hillary Clinton was dinged on last time . Well, we see the ways in which joe biden is really going to these republican strong holds. Georgia is a really good example of that, and thats a state where republicans are pumping millions and millions of dollars in just to save their chances at winning one of the two senate races there, not even to talk about whats going on at the president ial level. We also expect that they will be making trips to texas before the election is over, which of course is a big democrats view as a sort of maybe even battleground state this time around. Of course, that state hasnt elected a democrat for president since 1976, i believe. We see the ways in which the Biden Campaign is really leaving no state unvisited and really going to these traditional Battle Grounds, michigan today, Kamala Harris will be there with her husband doug, but theyre really going across the board and not afraid to go into these traditional republican strong holds because theyre seeing the trend since 2016 not just politically, but demographically, too. I want to pick up on that, errin. What were seeing is the campaigns very differently having to change their strategy because of covid. What can you tell us that were seeing beyond the polls . Right now the polls see that biden is leading in some of these key states that hillary lost, but what are we seeing beyond the polls . What are we seeing that our viewers should be looking for . Well, i would say a couple of things, maria teresa. One, that the pandemic is absolutely political for voters, particularly women, who make up the majority of the electorate. I will say just to the polls for one point the gender gap is really the story in this home stretch. Women are going to be the deciders of this election and they are the ones living through the daily reality of coronavirus. So i think that that is being reflected in the polling and that is being reflected on the campaign trail. Youre seeing Vice President biden and senator Kamala Harris kind of modeling the behavior that is being recommended by medical professionals, Wearing Masks, having events that are socially distanced, doing these drivein rallies as opposed to rallies where people are tightly packed into staydiums and large venues, as opposed to President Trump and Vice President pence who are, you know, passing out masks at their rallies, but where supporters may or may not be Wearing Masks, its more of a personal choice and they themselves are on stage largely without a mask. So its a very the optics are very much contrasting and i think that that is something that is resonating with a lot of the voters who have been making sacrifices in this pandemic from an economic and Public Health perspective for months. I think thats absolutely right. Paola, i want to bring you in, because we are finally seeing this surge of young voters that people have said would not come out. We saw that trend obviously in 2018, but talk a little bit about what youre seeing and how that bodes for either trump or biden. So what im seeing particularly among young latinos is that this is a generation that saw their parents and the older generation be criminalized, right . They saw them sort of live in pains that come to injustices. Theyre voting for biden but more than anything theyre voting for themselves, theyre coming out for themselves and i think thats a big difference that were seeing, thats a big difference in the young in the young generation story. Covid has sort of accentuated this whole reality, its a matter of life and death for their families, just look at the Latino Community, almost 37,000 latinos have died, the Unemployment Rate for us is at 10 and so its a vote for them. I think that what is interesting is how you see almost a cobbling together of the obama but also de facto. Paola is saying that the youth is coming out for themselves, youre seeing an increase in young africanamerican men also coming out but not necessarily because they are aligned with the campaign, but, again, for themselves. Can you speak to this trend that all of a sudden does seem tobacco a leasing a coalition that does reflect the Obama Coalition. Yes, exactly, because the Obama Coalition was a majority, an overwhelming majority of black voters, a majority of asianAmerican Voters, a majority of latinx voters, a majority of American Voters and 39 of white voters. You are seeing that coalition, but youre seeing that coalition and it seems to be growing because what the Biden Campaign is doing is, first of all, theyre learning the lessons from previous campaigns, right . Theyre listening and learning. The second thing is theyre targeting the caribbean american community, tapping into the fact of senator Kamala Harris, Vice President ial nominee Kamala Harris, theyre tapping into her roots and energizing that segment, which can be key in certain states. Asianamericans, someone who used to work with me is the head of asianamerican outreach for the obamacare ris campaibidenh. And black men, there is a particular focus on black men in colorado there were events around with black men, round tables about which issues are important to black men. I think what the Trump Campaign is saying that there is a silent majority, i think theyre wrong about who that silent majority is. Or perhaps there is a silent majority, but not for him. Right. I think theyre wrong about who that silent majority is. Thats exactly what i mean. Which is probably why theyre trying to suppress the vote. I want to bring you in, alexei. Alexei, i want to bring you in because we hear a lot of this a surge of the polls, people coming out in record number. We dont really know where theyre how theyre voting quite yet, though we do have some calculations. How is the Biden Campaign preparing for after the election, for after november 3rd . Everything that trump has telegraphed is hes saying that the election will not be called on that day. If thats the case what is how is the Biden Campaign preparing . Well, the Biden Campaign has spent months really assembling a team to really work on Voter Protection efforts. So thats what theyve been doing behind the scenes, but theyre also putting away millions of dollars for anticipated litigation thats going to pop up in a number of different states after the election if the margins end up being closer in battleground states and President Trump as he has a tendency to do pursues litigation as he has said he would do hoping it goes all the way to the Supreme Court. The biden team has been taking this seriously. Think about how they can respond with legal action and not get caught flatfooted in the event that Something Like this happens and theres all these cases popping up. The one thing thats interesting that i hear from democrats, maria teresa, that im sure you hear, too, is that they are saying if biden only could win texas on election night, then they wouldnt have to worry about any of this litigation or use the millions of dollars for litigation in anticipation of this because they say the election would be wrapped up by then. I think thats really interesting because were seeing how dems are really pushing in the 11th hour to try to lock up texas. Not just because its a critically important state with 38 electoral votes but because of this idea that it would prevent all this litigation from popping up. Youre speaking my language when you are talking about texas. You know that. Paola, it has a lot to do with what you were talking about earlier. One of the reasons texas is in play is were talking about a surge of young latinos coming into electoral power at the same time where they have nefarious actors such as greg abbott who simply says that they are not american. Can you speak a little bit what may be happening in texas and, trust me, guys, we will talk more about texas in the next hour, but now that you brought it up, alexei, i have to go down that rabbit hole. I mean, i think the best reminder if there was ever any undecided voter right now, particularly latinos, if someone ever had a hesitation to go to the polls all they needed to do was look at the debate and look at the images of the more than 500 children that still dont know where their parents are. I think that is once again shows you the dimension of this election. It is not about politics, it is not about republicans or democrats, it is about the dignity of people. And i think those images of the children, if you are in a place like texas, the fact that theres over 60,000 Asylum Seekers that are stranded on the other side of the border, that pushes you because it becomes about you. In texas you know more than anyone there are mixedstatus families, dreamers, citizens and that is the core of the youth demographic in texas. So all you need to do is be reminded of those images that will drive you to the polls. And i think were seeing a surge. I want to bring you in, errin, to speak specifically about i know your family is from atlanta, you are from atlanta, and we are going to see Vice President biden today in georgia. Speak a little bit about why hes there. Excuse me. Forgive me. On tuesday in georgia. Speak to me about why hes there. [ no audio ] errin, i believe you are on mute. Do you want town mute . Tara, i will go to you. One of the things that were seeing also is that he is when we talk about going into different communities, he recognizes, joe biden, that the communities are not monolithic, for example, in the Latino Community or in the black community or in the asian community. We have right now conversations where he is speaking specifically to individuals in the Haitian Community in florida. Why is that an important part of his strategy . It is really significant because, first of all, communities want to know that you understand the differences and that they are not monolithic, that they may have different needs, different concerns. When you look at the asianamerican community you saw high percentages of votes among korean americans, chinese americans, japanese americans, but when you looked at like americans from bangladesh originally, immigrants originally from bangladesh their numbers were similar in some states as black voters numbers for obama. Its understanding those dynamics, speaking to those audiences, reaching those audiences but also reaching those audiences early, right . So they dont feel like youre just coming around at election time and i think thats one of the things that we saw happening throughout the Biden Campaign. You didnt hear a lot about it, but it was, in fact, happening. Errin and tara, we will see you both in the next hour. I want to thank alexei and paola ramos. Paola, a shout out to your new book. That is not easy, but you guys have to pick it up. Its fantastic. Thank you. Up next, Senate Republicans get in formation for Amy Coney Barrett. Blpuicans get in formation for Amy Coney Barrett. Have to pick it up. Have to pick it up well, i oppose the process that has led us to this point, i do not hold it against her as an individual who has navigated the gauntlet with grace, skill and humili humility. I will vote no on the procedural votes ahead of us, but yes to confirm judge barrett when the question before us is her qualification to be an associate justice on the Supreme Court. Despite her earlier opposition to filling a Supreme Court seat so close to the election, alaska senator Lisa Murkowski changed her mind yesterday and in just two hours Senate Republicans will vote to limit debate and said Amy Coney Barretts nomination to the full senate tomorrow for confirmation. Senate democrats promised their republican colleagues you will reap what you sow. Please dont feign surprise in the months and years ahead if we on the democratic side follow that same rule that you are saying is the way to proceed today. Joining me now is a had he been of the Senate Judiciary committee and democratic senator from the great state of hawaii, senator mazie hirono. Thank you for joining me, senator. Good morning. So i want to ask you there was a closeddoor session yesterday that was called by senator schumer. Can you speak a little bit to that . It was an effort to have a dialogue behind closed doors, but that session did not last long because Mitch Mcconnell immediately moved to open the session. He is not interested in any kind of dialogue with the democrats on amy barrett so they are moving ahead with this vote knowing full well that she will be the likely decisive fifth vote to strike down the Affordable Care act in the middle of a pandemic. The republicans are totally focused on what they need to do which is to fill the courts. Over 200 judges with Lifetime Appointments who will be against the Affordable Care act, who will be against the womens right to choose, who will probably side with them likely on all the Voting Rights cases that are happening even as we speak all across the country. So thats what the republicans want to do and thats what theyre doing, rather than, by the way, putting together a covid bill that will actually help the people who are out of work and all the Small Businesses that are closing. We are in the midst of a pandemic, the republicans dont want to deal with that, they would rather spend their time pushing this person on to the courts for life knowing full well what shes going to do there. She will be very much in alignment with the very, very conservative members of the court. So, senator, i just want to put this screenshot up because i think folks need to understand how unusual it is to fast track these confirmation hearings. When John Paul Stevens it took 19 days that was a little unusual, but Sandra Day Oconnor was 33 days, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was 42 days, Amy Coney Barrett is going to be less probably than 28 days. The difference between them, though, was that we were literally less than weeks away from the election by the American People. This goes completely in opposition to the person who left that vacancy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, asking for this to be stopped. Do you see any way to prevent the vote from happening tomorrow . Unless a couple of more republicans grow a conscience, probably not. But, on the other hand, i think the people who are voting, standing in line in the wind and rain, literally, they know whats at stake. They know that their votes are being suppressed an they are not going to put up with that. They know whats at stake with their health care and they are out there voting. I believe that they will hold the republicans who have done a total 180 on what their position was in 2016 that we should await the results of a president ial election to fill a Supreme Court vacancy, i am very hopeful that those voters are going to hold their republican senators responsible for putting this person on the court who will be taking away their health care for over 100 Million People with preexisting conditions. Senator there is a lot at stake. I want to talk to you about what is at stake. For folks that may just be tuning in, a little hard to believe, but she could potentially decide the Affordable Care act, correct . Yes. Just in the month of right after the next president is voted in, we are expected to hear sometime in the mid month of november the Supreme Court hearing the aca determination. Speak to that and speak to what you know on how she thinks the aca should be either continued or reversed. There are two things, the president promised that he would appoint a justice who will strike down the aca. Amy barrett he thinks he has that justice. Judge barrett has already made her position on the Affordable Care act very clear when she criticized chief Justice Roberts for sustaining the law in 2012. She said he pushed the limits of the constitution in order to uphold the aca. So try as she might to hide her position, its clear, and that is why shes been pushed on to the court. Meanwhile, the republicans have tried 70 times, they voted 70 times in congress to do away with the Affordable Care act, they did not succeed, and so now they want the Supreme Court to accomplish for them what they couldnt do legislatively and this is what theyre doing all across the board in the courts throughout our country, packing them with the kind of people that they believe will support their position on Voting Rights, on lgbtq rights, a womans right to choose, a workers right, you name it. All the rights that Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent decades fighting for and advocating for they will put this person on the court who does not share those priorities. Do you believe that Amy Coney Barrett has been sufficiently vetted . No, because we already know that there is probably some information that we should have gotten that we did not get. So we dont even have to point fingers at any nefarious purposes on the part of her people, but we just havent had the time to review all of her speeches, all of her writings. There was an effort on our part to delay the hearings so that we could get all of the materials and documents that we are entitled to, but, again, that all fell on deaf ears. Why . Because the republicans won. They think theyre going to lose this election. They want to put the person on the court knowing that the majority of americans support the Affordable Care act, a womans right to choose, support lgbtq rights. The republicans are afraid they are going to lose their elections so they are going to push this person on to the court who will be making decisions in all these areas and more for decades. This is why people need to know whats at stake and i believe they do, thats why theyre standing in line for hours on end. It shouldnt be like that in a country where Voter Suppression is the approach that the republicans are taking and that is why there are about 70 cases going on all across the country trying to prevent the republicans from getting their way with Voter Suppression tactics. So they are establishing a record. We are not waiting until trump decides hes going to challenge the election. There is a record of being developed and all of these cases and often the democrats and our lawyers are prevailing in these multiple cases that are going on all over the country. There is a record being established. One hopes that the Supreme Court will Pay Attention to that but you never know with this court which is way to the right and, you know, we do have bush v. Gore. I want to bring up because you mentioned all of the issues that may not be on the right side of the majority of American People but that Amy Coney Barrett seems to espouse. So if you actually look at some of these elements its basically looking at where her record is on abortion, on health care, gun rights, death penalty, discrimination, Climate Change, president ial power. This was interesting because she worked for bush and sided with bush versus gore, she was one of the attorneys that did the recount. Are you comfortable saying perhaps that do you think that you could rest assured the American Public that if she were to sit on that bench that gay marriage will not be struck down . Im very concerned that the Supreme Court decision that okayed gay marriage, you already have two Supreme Court justices who considered themselves originalists just as amy barrett does theyve already signaled, they say they see no constitutional basis for gay marriage. So theyve already signaled that, that would be justices alito and thomas. So the conservative justices do this, they signal to litigants out there literally to say to them bring on a case that we can revisit and amy barretts mentor, justice scalia, wrote the major the major dissents on every single gay rights case including that one. So she aligns herself with justice scalia, her mentor, so i really have concerns about whether or not all of the lgbtq rights that have been so hard fought will stand. I have a feeling not. She also has a very outlier view of precedent. Her view on precedent is a Supreme Court justice has a do you tell joe to determine what the constitution requires in her own assessment and analysis and if precedent doesnt comport with that down goes precedent. That is a very radical view of precedent. Thank you for this conversation. Thank you. After a quick break we will check in on trumps Covid Campaign tour. This is as the Trump Campaign has become its own nationwide super spreader. With usa today reporting, a correlation between trump rallies and outbreaks in at least five places. Joining me now is msnbc science contributor Laurie Garrett author of the coming plague. Thank you for joining me. I have to share with you that the way the president is trying to basically not honor, sadly, the deaths of individuals and the millions of americans right now that are suffering because of this pandemic, speak to me about your reaction just to what we just heard. Well, the numbers are absolutely terrifying and horrible and of course you have to begin by saying if you hear that there is more than a quarter million americans who have perished since march in this pandemic, thats a quarter of a million individuals who are leaving behind grieving families, grieving loved ones, grieving coworkers. So you multiply that number by, you know, 10 or 20 or 50, they can have huge circles of grief around them. We are traumatizing america. These are undercounts. While many people have tried on the far right in conspiracy websites to claims that the numbers are overstated, nobody is really dying of this disease, so on and so forth, in reality the numbers represent a gross undercount. You look at this chart of steady increases in new cases, it takes some time for the death toll to catch up. What were seeing now is these cases are filling hospitals and in many parts of the prairie states and the rust belt, hospitals are reaching capacity. Some states are actually shuttling patients off to neighbor states because they no longer have room for them in their own hospital facilities. Now, as this progresses were going to see the death toll climb. One of the things weve learned looking at this epidemic over time is that theres been a massive excess mortality across america, excess mortality, which means people who somehow mysteriously have died but werent necessarily categorized as covid deaths, they may have been categorized many other things, they may never have actually seen a doctor, they may have died at home or in a nursing home, a care facility, theyre missed numbers. If you look at that, were underestimating our death toll by something akin to 36 . So the real numbers right now instead of 226,000 deceased americans, the undercount could be by almost 81,000 which would put us up already to 305,000 deceased americans. If you project out the International Health and metrics Evaluation Group at the university of washington is now saying if we stay the course with this kind of madness, with this failure to have a really coherent set of policies, social distancing, constant mask wearing and so on, by the end of february we will have a half a million deceased americans. So, laurie, i just want you to really emphasize for our audience the individuals that may be undercounted. I want to say this because i have to share with you my grandmothers partner of 34 years passed away in a health care facility, sadly, and he was a hardworking man, he worked the fields in sonoma, he was a man who cared about his job and his family, and after 34 years my grandmother wasnt even able to hold his hand. She grabbed his ashes in the middle of cinema plaza because she couldnt go into the facility and my family part of it is highly disconnected so we couldnt even honor his life through zoom. What youre speaking to is the reality of so many of us that we dont have the opportunity to even say out loud the difficulty in this. So please underscore, again, for the audience how these individuals are passing away and how we arent able to know what that real count actually is. Im so sorry for your loss and i hear these stories from all over the country every day. Its absolutely overwhelming. If i let myself emotionally attach to every single loss i would be incapacitated, and the same is true for the nurses and doctors working these overwhelmed intensive care units and emergency facilities. If they let themselves be attached patient by patient, they cant emotionally function. The death toll is so overwhelming. And its only going to get worse. In fact, did i some calculations to predict where we might be on election day if the trends continue as theyre going right now, and let me see if i can find my numbers. Yes, here we go. By election day we could have jumped to another 10,000 deceased individuals, bringing our official total to about 236,000. If we factor for the excess death undercount, that would put us at about 308,000 americans having perished by election day. Laurie, the reason i wanted to emphasize this is because we also have a president right now who has decided that the people that his obstacles to winning reelection are frontline workers. Take a listen. If somebody is terminally ill with cancer and they have covid, we report them. And, you know, doctors get more money and hospitals get more money. Think of this incentive. So some countries do it differently. If somebody is very sick with a bad heart, they die of covid, they dont get reported as covid. So then you wonder, gee, i wonder why their cases are so low. So we also know that theres increasing shortages in different parts of the country of Health Care Professionals. What does this speak to them when they hear this . Well, in every single way the president has dismissed the value of our frontline workers and indeed just this week he issued an executive order reversing a 137yearold federal edict called the pendleton act under which the jobs of federal workers involved in policy making and in setting the standards for health care, in dealing with the science and distributing goods so that theres adequate ppe for all these nurses and doctors who are literally risking their lives, those workers are no longer protected. Under this dramatic change which has gone under the radar, hardly noticed by most of america, more than 100,000 workers are reclassified in the federal government from competitive employees to whats called accepted employees. When you are so transferred the president can fire you at whim. So if you disagree with the president , he can fire you. This is not about job performance, its not about did you do your job . Did you excel in every single peer review and job review and so on . No, this is how he could fire tony fauci who otherwise is protected. This is how he could fire people inside the fda who are top scientists trying to slow down the rush so that we have safe vaccines, safe, proven, effective drugs. This is how he can fire people in the cdc who are saying things like you have to wear masks when you are on a public bus, or you have to wear masks when you are greeting students at the entry to a school. Its phenomenal. Rather than honor the people who are risking their lives and passing sage advice in this epidemic, the president is actually just this week changed the law so that he can fire them if they dont prove to be loyal to his positions. And so just to clarify for the public, basically what he has done is he has taken Civil Servants who are professionals in whatever capacity they are and changing their pay grade excuse me, their level of executive access to political appointees so that they are on his whim. It allows him to do mass firings and bringing in people that may not be competent to safeguard your families. Thank you, Laurie Garrett, for that important reporting. How do you lose to a guy like this, is this possible . Ill never come to pennsylvania again. I hope so. Trump has also revived his Popular Campaign promise to drain the swamp claiming his opponents are the corrupt ones. I fight for the middle class, biden is you know what i did, right . I think hes fighting. I think hes fighting i think for hunter. Biden and his cronies, what they have done is a dischriisgracdis. We have the biden deal. Pretty crazy. But you know what, no administrati Administration Listen to that sound, it is coming from so far away. Lock help im up, lock him up were joined by mccaichael cn who was his personal attorney for many years, author of disloyal loyal. Thank you so much for joining me. How are you . We are nine days out of the election, this is what i like to do. Thank god. Lets figure it out together. I know you have been part of the inner circle for donald trump. Tell me, what is he thinking right now nine days out . He is insulting the very people that will get into office. Talk about his strategy. It is not really a strategy. Donald trump never has a strategy. What he has is reaction. And inside his head right now can only be compared to a tornado or a hurricane of ehe motion. He is scared. And ed he is nifnervous and he the hold on to power. And he is really projecting upon don jr. And ivanka and his group of cronies. He projects. So i want to talk about this. Does he have his limits . No, there are no limits. When he was asked on a National Stage with 50 million americans tuning in, asking specifically about the proud boys, asking him to ask these White Supremacists to stand down and instead he said stand by, what is he willing to do . He is willing to do anything that it will take to stay into power. And i said this before on this program as well as others, that sadly with donald trump what is going on there is he is using them to stoke fear and we really have to stop this as a country. Whether you are republican, democrat or independent, we really have to stop this divisiveness amongst once another and we have to go back to empathy and to compassion for one another and really just a general care for the United States of america because where we are right now, which is the donald trump way, isnt working. And it will never work. And that is why he is so afraid because joe biden is coming in with empathy and compassion for all. When he turns around and joe biden says as far as im concerned, i will be a president for all americans, that is nothing that that has never come out of Donald Trumps mouth because he doesnt believe it. And i bring that in simply because look at what he is saying even to pennsylvania or iowa or muskegon where he says ill never come back. What he is basically doing, the mob way of saying if you dont vote for he me, im never coming back, i wont concern myself with your community or your state. And the things that people are taking out of his rhetoric which is so divisive and as to damage being, that is where you get the proud boys, the Wolverine Group and others where they are willing to go so far as to kidnap and potentially kill a sitting politician. This is 234509 america anymore are. He is changing america and i think what we need to do is just to change who is it is being in the oval office. Things could go back to normal. He hasnt changed america. We are still skroeting avoting clip. And i want to ask you something very important. You were alluding to it. People helped him propel to the white house, manafort, brad paschal, steve bannon, roger stone, yourself, all of you who have served . Time and also not part of his inner circle. Who is advising him . That is the problem. Right now you have really just several people. Ivanka, jared, and most importantly, the person who always is supporting donald trump more than anybody else, and advising him more than anybody else, is himself. Donald trump listens to nobody. He doesnt care really what anybody else says, whether you are trying to protect him or not. You know, many of the people in his inner circle that are there right now the dont care about him as an individual. All about themselves. And sothe dont care about him as an individual. All about themselves. And so they are leading him down a pa path of destruction and he knows that he is losing. And it is sad watching, you know, what could have been a good presidency, what his rhetoric was, im a businessman, ill make great deals, did great things for this country, he has done nothing for the country. Maybe for himself and his kirki hes done nothing for this country. And you often hear the president saying im immune. Is it because hes afraid of being convicted after he leaves office . Of course. He knows that if he doesnt win, which is the only thing his president ial power right now that is keeping him from being indicted and also will be a litany of litigation that will ensue directly after his loss on november 3, starting with the new york a. G. , followed by the this morni new York District attorney and every other locale that believes that he or his company have committed a crime. And there will be quite a few. Tell the American People what he could possibly be cooking up for an october surprise. There is no october surprise for him. He will just go out there and he will talk about his crowd size, he will talk about how popular he is, how the last time in 2016 the polls didnt matter. You dont have a flawed like you had before. You have a decent man who is a man of service to this country. Had before. You have a decent man who is a man of service to this country. You cant sit on top of the stachblg a stanlt a staunlg a stage and talk about a Health Care Plan that i have when for four years he hasnt put one out. His only goal is to destroy obamacare. Not because he doesnt think that it is good, he is trying to destroy obamacare because the word word in it, obama. He wants to wipe obamas legacy out of america. It is a sickness. Recently we saw the supposed tapes showing specifically Rudy Giuliani in potentially compromising positions. Speak about giulianis judgment because he is pedaling that he is receiving information from ukraine on hunthunter by ten. Yeah, first of all, why believe it. As far as im concerned, rudy is an absolute joke. A man that is now the laughingstock of the country and the world. To get played like that, he is a liability to the campaign, he is a liability to donald trump. He is a liability to the United States of america. The man is easiliably capable o being bought. He drinks too much. When you drink too much, especially if you are going to get yourself involved into that world, they real liz that you have realize that you have a weakness and they will jump on it and Rudy Giuliani will get caught with his pants open laying down on bed. He is a moron. And you are in the middle of this drama that is now taking all of our imaginations and also many of our destiny. How does this end with donald trump . Well, it wont end pretty. I said this 19 plus months ago when i testified before the House Oversight committecommitt. There will never be a peaceful transition of power under donald trump. You see it. Everything that i said there, i called him a con man. He is a con man. He is a fraud. He is a brace racist. He is already setting the stage for a challenge. He does not want to leave the white house. He knows the second that he leaves, there will be people waiting outside to serve him on behalf of himself and his country, they will serve him with a litany of litigation. And including the irs. He owes from what ive seen in the New York Times article hundreds of millions of dollars. He is not liquid. The man turns around and says i dont need your money, ill put money in by myself from my own pocket to this campaign because right now the biden harris ticket are just raising extraordinary amounts of money. And he cannot. Because people have trump fatigue. Were all just tired of the nonsense. And we do really want to go back to a much more peaceful way of life. Only way to do that is to rid our ourselves of captain chaos. I dont know if we can go back, but we can go back. And we need to rebuild. Joining me now, errin haines, and tara dadoll, eric bolert, and also kurt bordella. Thank you all for joining me. I asked you to join us because of the conversation that we just had with Michael Cohen. And something that is of concern that we touched upon earlier is this transition of power. Errin, can you speak for what the Biden Campaign is doing recognizing that election day is november 3 but there is a lot of speculation that we wont know the results until a couple weeks after . What the Biden Campaign is saying is that they want this to be an election that is a mandate and not one on the margins, that can be independent could of left open for question by the president who raised the specter of voter graduate and if tfraud wrong with the process. So they are saying the more that the Biden Campaign can run this up with voter, trying to get the record turnout in favor of democrats, the better chances they have of kind of thwarting any kind of challenge to the Election Results on the other side of november 3. The other part of this is, you know, we know that with mailin ballots, there are states li pennsylvania where they cannot even begin to be counted until election day and you cant count millions of ballots that fast. So the thought that we may not have election result november 3, conditioning folks that that sdnlg me does not mean that there is something wrong with the process, but that letting the process play out for as long as that may take is really the way to have a Fair Election that includes everyone having their chance to have their say, that idea of one person, one vote. And that everybody can be counted i think is it what they are attempting to reiterate. Not to mention, kind of the army of lawyers that they have to push back against any Voter Suppression efforts that they see the Trump Campaign trying to stand up. And kurt, something i found striking in the conversation i had with Michael Cohen is when i mentioned the individuals that historically were part of the Trump Campaign that propelled him into this power, they are no longer around him. We are talking about steve bannon, brad paschal, manafort, roger stone. Who is advising him and is it as Michael Cohen says that it is just him . Well, i think that we know from what weve seen the last four years is that this is a president who keeps his own couns counsel. Like a lawyer representing position in trial, he has a fool for a client. And that is really what has played out over time. Trump is someone who likes to have a bunch of competing interests and stroivoices jocke for positions, but this is not someone capable of listening to any advice because he is a na narcicisstic and you touthorita person and the reason why we have 220 240ur,000 dead america yes doesnt listen to experts. He just goes out there and spews whatever comes to his adle minded brain and there is carnage everywhere. And every person who would be an adviser has been hoping and wishing that he would take their advice. But instead, because they know that he wont, they are out there just spending his money. This guy went through 1 billion somehow, most of the time not even having an opponent. The campaign is pretty much broke to use in the final stretch and the reason why is that because even can just spend whatever they want and there is no overst no oversight. And it is not helping donald trump and that is why he is losing so badly. And eric, we still dont understand why the president stepped away from the 60 minutes conversation. Take a listen. Let me ask you what you think the i biggest domestic prioritys for you right now. Well, ultimately and ill tell you, it was happening. We created the great ets economy in the history of our country and you know thats not true. It is totally true. I asked you what is the priority. Those are all the good things. Priority now is to get back to normal. Get back to where we were. Eric, what is your reaction to that . That is kind of typical trump, right . When the tough gets going, he gets up and walks away. There is no semblance of a campaign left, right . As kurt was talking about, he doesnt have an infrastructure, he doesnt have advisers, nobody knows what is going on. So in the conservative world particularly in the fox news era, when the going to gets tough, you whine about the press, right . So he is whining about 60 minutes, about cbs, about the moderator. It is just a hallmark of the conservative movement in america. It does them absolutely no good. Electorally, it is a total loser. People who love him already hate the press. But this is kind of a nervous breakdown that weve been watching. So it is his safe space. Ill walk out on 60 minutes, ill post this video even though the white house has every white house always does promises that they would not release it. He releases the unedited version and people are like what is this . She is asking moderately tough questions to a sitting president who has 220,000 dead americans at his feet. Who knows. Again, it doesnt make any sense. It is the safe spot. He is trying to press the hunter biden thing, that is not going anywhere. Fox news i think media matters calculated 30 hours on hunter biden. If the Mainstream Media doesnt buy in to the republican attacks, it doesnt matter. Fox news could spend 300 hours on hunter by tidbiden. Mainstream media thinks it is not a story so it wont go anywhere. He is kind of wrapped up in ball complaining about the media and that will be his fint noal note the campaign. Tara, one thing that was striking in the interview with Michael Cohen, the idea getting back to normal. And for many, back to normal wasnt okay. Can you speak to why were seeing such a surge in usually disaffected communities participating in the polls . I think despite what donald trump has been claiming about how he has been the best president for the black community and for other disaffected communities, people know that is not true. Because they are unemployed. They are suffering. They lost someone to covid. So these claims are not sticking because the reality is what people are going through right now. So that is why none of this is working. His smoke and mirrors is not working because we have in a terrible situation. And im so glad that president obama came out to set the record straight about his own record with the obama biden record where when they first came in, there was 757,000 jobs being lost every month. And they took the black Unemployment Rate in particular and halved that rate within that administration. And started creating jobs and actually started to see wages increase as well. And so trump inherited a good economy and turned it into just like trumps businesses and all the other trump product, he turned it into a mess. That is what he did to america and people feel it, they know it. And i hear people saying that we have to be careful, we dont want to discourage people from voting. People want to physically endure the act of voting this man out. And so what we need to do is to make sure that the groups on the ground are still supported to make sure that those votes count on election day because that is really the issue right now. People are going to vote. They are going. We need to make sure that the barriers that are there are lifted and that the groups on the ground doing that work are supported. Thank you all. Coming up, some covid relief money is being used for fracking. Ill explain it all next. When our daughter and her kids moved in with us. Our bargain detergent couldnt keep up. Turns out its mostly water. So, we switched back to tide. One wash, stains are gone. Daughter slurping dont pay for water. Pay for clean. Its got to be tide. Still a father. But now a friend. Still an electric car. Just more electrifying. Still a night out. But everything fits in. Still hard work. Just a little easier. Still a legend. Just more legendary. Chevrolet. Making lifes journey, just better. [yawn] you. Look. Stunning. Want the truth to why i wake up feeling. [growls softly]. So darn awesome . [makes playful sound] i take care of my skin. Not this skin. That skin. And when youve got incontinence, you sure need to. Tena intimates pads lock liquid in, and are now 100 breathable to care for your intimate skin. Are you still here . Kind to skin. Protects like tena. [joe] im joe biden and i approve this message. [narrator] four years ago, donald trump asked black america a simple question. What do you have to lose . [narrator] since then, weve seen a rise in racial violence and white supremacy, an increase in poverty while giving tax cuts to the rich, 200,000 dead from covid. One in five are black. Weve lost our jobs, our businesses, our dignity, and even our lives. And he dares to ask what the hell do you have to lose . [narrator] damn near everything. History says fine jewelry for occasions. We say forget occasions. snap fine jewelry for my damn self. Were mejuri. Handcrafted like the olden days. Designed for the golden days ahead. There is a debate about what is the best way to get people to do more compliance or more participation and i happen to believe that it will happen when people decide that they want to do it because of either the community or the teammates or classmates or family members that they care about, statewide mandate, im not sure, you know, where that leads us. Might lead to less com appp might lead to less com applianc versus more. North dakota governor refused to man date mask wearing. But if north dakota were a country, it would lead the world in confirmed covid cases per capita. So it totally makes sense that governor burgum and his commission have decided to reallocate money meant for covid relief to fracking. The Commission Voted to divi up the c. A. R. E. S. Act funding with 33 million going to schools, 10 million going to hospitals and 16 million going for fracking. Because nothing says slowing the spread of a virus like a bailout for the oil industry. Joining me now to discuss, dr. Patel and joel heitkamp. And whow are you doing . I want to start with you because i know that this 50 million to fracking is just the tip of the iceberg for what is happening in north dakota. You can speak to that . It is ridiculous. Weve got a small hospital in litton, north dakota, there is no room at the inn. These small rural hospitals need money, they need help, and all the governor is being is a cheerleader. He has been a cheerleader for the football team, as to he knows a little bit about it. But what drives me nutshe knows a little bit about it. But what drives me nuts is he doesnt realize where the money needs to go. So i know that you are one of the cases in north dakota that is currently struggling with covid. Speak about that. Yeah, i contracted covid. Just got out of quarantine about four or five days ago. And this is another point that needs to be made. The governor claims that our numbers are as to high because of how much we test. Well, i had covid. And my brother had covid. So a whole lot of people got tested. So it is a chicken and egg thing. There is no question to me why were so high in testing. It is because we are so high in covid. And so dr. Patel, i want to bring you in because what were seeing, and north dakota is a very rural area in the country, i want to put this up. It seems like most of the highest trending with covid are in very rural areas. You can speak to what were seeing . Yeah, and joel, im glad you are recovering and hope that continues. Because frankly, we know that this can stick around months, later even. People are feeling fatigue. So to your point, we are seeing outbreaks in rural states for several reasons. Number one, these are states as you pointed out where the governors have largely left out a mask mandate even though the science and common sense would now dictate that mask will as you pointed out prevent this virus from being transmitted. Number two, rural states are actually experiencing over the last several decades kind of the urban flee where people are raised to go to school there, and then young people leave because there is not enough economic opportunity. And so you are left with states that are incredibly large without primary care positions, north dakota is a top state where it is primarily a desert, one out of 20 cant get to a primary care doctor. And these are aging states. So 2340r9 todnorth dakota along rural states have a hire density of people 85 or older. And i cant help but think what the frac, up to actually put money in on to fracking, not into this should be the similars into primary care doctors, into getting home health aides. And think about education. And the last thing you should be thinking about is fracking which also by the way Public Health message, it actually causes cancer. It is upside down and unbelievable. Excuse me. And if i could, here is the other part you are missing which is you dont understand the desperation harold hamm has of continental oil. He is on the cutting edge of being broke. And he is a multibillionaire. He makes every he makes every Cocktail Party they possibly have and he buys. And so that is xr wewhy were him money. He basically runs north today can he take a dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school, oday dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school, day dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school,ay dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school,y dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school, dakot. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school, dakota. And i have five grandchildren and those five any given day are in school, out of school, in school, and we have to quarantine and all of these things. And it is ridiculous because again we go back to the governor and now he put out a thanksgiving day challenge that if things go well, you can all be together on thanksgiving. You know what, harold hamm can afford on go anywhere he wants for thanksgiving. I dont want my grandkids around people on thanksgiving. It is ridiculous. And we need more than a cheerleader right now. We really do. So joel, why do folks in north dakota not want to wear masks . That is simple. First off, everything comes from leadership. When you say they dont want to wear masks, if they go into wall marts or costco or someplace where you either put it or or you are not coming in, they wear them. They all have them in their back pocket. If you go into my pickup, you will see two striking and one begins mask that my sister made. So i always have one in my back pocket. I wear it. If i go into the convenience store, im usually the only one without it. You dont see employers i shouldnt say that. There are employers that require mask requiring but not a lot before well fargo and minot sa there is a mandatory mask wearing. They say wear them, but they are real not. So it is a real issue. And joel, one thing that doctors are begging for people to wear masks, i mean, all friends of mine on the ground have written letter, they designed petitions, they have been desperate to not to get people, they said that their patients are willing to do it, but they are being told by leadership, by the governor, and actually to be frank some of the mayors are speaking up in favor of masks. But then they have these messages and honestly, im just going to bring up President Trump one more time, it is all bolstered by a president who makes fun of people Wearing Masks. So you have sensible people who want to do the right thing that are being told, oh, no, you dont need to, it is all up to the individual. Public health imagine, emergenc need to do the right thing if we want to look forward to the future. And so we now see that the president is going after front li line o workers. Speak to how morale must be coming from Health Care Professionals hearing that from the president . Yeah, nurses, medical assistants, by the way the majority of whom are women and are so frustrated. And my own colleagues, immake w gladly give up high salary if it means that i could hold my patients hands and end any of this tragedy. The notion that any of us are doing it for money is sickening and disgusting. Ive seen people die from this and i want nothing more than to stop it. So it is an unsuperintendent and o insult. And this issed the president gas lighting and putting blame on others. So let people like joel and what he has had to suffer through, let them lead the way of setting the example and crude out the noi crowd out the noise and the fracking confusion. Thank you both if joining me. And one question. Do you think anybody ever you think anybody ever cheated off donald trump in school . Thats a bet id like to take. Coming up, we shift our focus on the Battle Ground state of texas. Not whats easy. So when a hailstorm hit, usaa reached out before he could even inspect the damage. Thats how you do it right. Everybody has to vote. And we have [ inaudible ]. If you dont vote, you are letting everybody else tell you. And no matter how messed up your government gets, we still have the last vote. People should realize how extremely important it is to vote. We think one little vote might not make a difference, but it makes a lot of difference. More than 6 million texans have cast their ballot, meaning that texas has already surpassed their 2016 early vote turnout largely due to a rise of latin xx and you x and young voters. And my next guests, two democratic congressionals are hoping to help turn texas blue. Joining me now, Candace Valenzuela and also gina jones. Thank you both for joining me. I have to tell you that the enthoous yace ennice yace enenneen enthusiasm in texas is something we have not seen in years. A so what are you seeing . This is my second time running. Ive never backed down from a fight. I served in the air force, i deployed to iraq, i worked in National Security for almost 15 years protecting our interNational Security and i know that we need to get our country back on the right track and i dont think that anyone should be surprised about the turnout because folks know what is on the ballot. Health care is on the ballot and im running against somebody who is lock step with the Trump Administration in wanting to take away Peoples Health care during a pandemic. It is especially cruel, we deserve better, we have can have enter and i think that is why people with voting in droves. Candace, i believe that there is Something Different happening in texas and this is a trend that we have seen in arizona, in virginia, in colorado and we saw in nevada. And that was an aging into population of latinos turning 18 in record numbers, we saw an often tirtimes not kind to the Latino Community, and so speak to me of what you are seeing in texas when it comes to the Latino Community specifically the youth vote. I am seeing intense enthusiasm, i am so thrilled to see the Latino Community, all communities of color taking it upon themselves to talk to their relatives, their friends, their loved ones about gegt out the vote. Here in texas, weve already hit 80 of our 2016 vote and were not done yet. We still have another week of early voting yet to go, and election day yet to go. So that signals a lot of enthusiasm. And my campaign specifically, i have 68 young people, high school and college students, many of whom are people of color, working in the communities it is electric. Gina, one of the things sadly is also the rye ise in covid ca. You have a governor who didnt believe in Wearing Masks and basically said that each because was on their own. And he is also the individual behind Affordable Care act being faced in the Supreme Court to be struck down. Speak to me how Important Health care is to texas and how that vulnerability in the a be botab Administration May open up a lane for all of you. People know health care is on the ballot and were seeing the kofr consequences of the underinvestment in Public Health here in texas and certainly this part of our state. Three our counties have no doctors. And sos lathe lak of leadership especially in the hispanic community, they are eight times more likely to go to the hospital than a white child. And sos la the lack of leadersh has cost so many lives. People haveless lost their jobs their insurance. And so we need to get the pandemic under control. It is unfortunate that this has been politicized. Again having worked in National Security, you listen to experts and communicate with people and clearly the threat that they face so that they can protect themselves and their families. So we know that leadership, character, health care, all of this is on the ballot and that is why it is so important and make sure that we get the highest turnout possible in our state. And i want to underscore what gina just are said, that children who are of latina heritage are eight times more likely to contract covid. And the reason is because 51 of the texas classrooms are latino children. Speak to how latino women are navigating the state because many of them are also Frontline Health care workers. They live in multigeneration households where they have come back afraid of either giving it to their spouses or mothers who may live with them, but also their childrens exposure. You can speak about those vulnerabilities . It has been very rough for latino families specifically and all families when they are trying to balance keeping food on the table, putting a roof over their heads, and keeping them safe from covid19. Many of us do not have the kinds of jobs that allow us to work remotely and in which we have a choice as to whether or not customers come in wearing or not wearing a mask. And when you dont have sufficient support with the protective gear necessary, especially as it has become so expensive, anybody who has tried to buy their own masks at this point, they know things have gotten really pricey. Imagine being a greesh aocery s worker or a teacher, and trying to afford those extras while also feeding your families. Be need we need a more responsible federal government. And were seeing that senator cornyn is not necessarily promoting the h. E. R. O. S. Act which would provide billions of dollars to communities that desperately need attention because of covid relief. So what is the state of that . Does it looks like cornyn is going to be held responsible for loosening up helping loosen until federal dollars . I searcertainly hope so. My good friend mj is giving him hell and were doing our part to make sure that we have leaders who fight for us and not the corporate donors. And it is so important. And this is a Congressional District with a median household of 55k. As to families were already struggling and some have lost their job, some permanently. And so it is critical that we get the pandemic under control, get Small Businesses more help. And when you look at the Small Businesses that have gone out of business and not able to access ppp loans, a higher percentage of black and brown businesses unfortunately fall in that catego category. So we have to make sure that our economic recovery is as inclusive as possible and dont forget the number of women that have already fallen out of the workforce. 850,000 just in september. So it is the responsibility on all leaders to make sure that all working parents can get back to work and make sure in particular that some of these responsibilities that have fallen to women, we make sure that we get our economy back open given and make sure that every working parent that wants to return has the opportunity to do so. So you heard it hear, texas, you can change trajectory of the country. Up next, get out the vote effort with some of the star power. Bill assumed it was a costume party. How are you doing, ladies . I have to share with you that we started the top of the hour with an all women panniel and now ending it with an all women panel and talking about how you are all putting on your super hero capes to save the country. Talk about days and cdazed an confused. Youre confusing me with my character. Im sorry. It is a cult favorite of mine by the way. So dont take it personally. I did a good performance i think. But, yeah, i think a lot of people have kind of hit a brick about being the table reading because people were starting to do this. And i think that when it became about raising money for march for science, you know, he felt it was the right time. And it was kind of nice, it was thrown together fairly quickly. But in 2016, a friend of mine, we went to clark county, nevada to knock on doors and this year we cant really do that, so it felt good to be proactive in some way. And it was fun. And this is what you are highlighting. Owe say y rosario and i have been working together and we realize the influence culture has and bringing people feel that politics is not for them, that are you not new to this, that you did this in nevada, al demonstrates that this is not something that is new. Is how you were able to pit on your which hero cape and talk about sometimes really difficult issues impacting our democracy but yet you have an audience that looks at you and your leadership. I think, you know, growing up in new york and the Lower East Side and during the crazy housing crisis, crack, heroin epidemics, hiv aids epidemic, it is just all around you all the time. So i grew up around a lot of activists anded a row c advocat. And when i started acting and having that be in the work that i was doing, it just seemed appropriate to Start Talking about these issues in the best way and its been really wonderful, after all of these years, continuing to see it not just being represented in the types of films and shows and documentaries and ted talks and things that people put out there, but also in opportunities like this during quarantine, when everyones at home, trying to do quarantine without music or film or television, right . People are binging so many different things. And people have found this really grate of being civil advocates for causes and things that they really care about, while also being as entertaining as possible. So you know, they did the Princess Bride reading for the wisconsin dems and it raised 4. 5 million. We were able to come together and do dazed and confused for voto latina and for science, because science is important, and voto latino, we got to over 60,000 people on the ground. So having those funds to make sure newly registered people get out and vote is critical. Mel brooks is jumping onboard. Carrie ellis was making a whole fuss online talking about getting out of the fire swamp. Its been really fun and entertaining and interesting, kind of coinciding all of these different passions and energies with real opportunity for fans to participate, just like in voting, you have to make a plan. And people make a plan to attend these readings. And thats when their donation comes in. A lot of people want to donate or theyre thinking about it, they want to participate in some way, but they dont always know how. And i think these readings have been really made it a lot more accessible for people, how they can participate and be a part of change. But this is the thing. Were seeing an unprecedented amount of people using their talents right now. I want to show you, joey, this picture of the front cover of time magazine. I cannot remember any magazine ever changing their name to encourage the American People to vote. And that is a piece from shepard ferry, the man behind the iconic picture of hope from president obama. Whats different this time to you, joey . You know, theres a lot of things going on. One being, you know, like, is this people are worried about voter fraud, thats being spread. And with the pandemic and so many people mailing in their ballots. And i was nervous, like, is my signature going to match . Its just encouraging as many people to vote as possible. But i just really feel like, unfortunately, President Trump brought his Reality Television background to the presidency, which i can understand how people might have thought like, lets get someone whos not a politician in office. You know, things arent working for a lot of people. But like, this week, we were left on the edge of our seats wondering, you know, are 545 children going to be reunited with their parents . Like, thats like, i dont want to be on the edge of my seat wondering that at the end of the week. I feel like the president should have came out with a plan. And this is we messed up, this is what were going to do to reunite them. We have to wait until next season to find out what his Health Care Plan is. Will millions of people have health care . Its just so crazy and chaotic and you know, people are voting, i think, because of that. I think theyre just sort of tired of it. And its important. I have my i voted sticker. I did. I love your i voted sticker. It feels so good to vote yeah, and its so funny, because for a long time, rosario and i were in this, trying to encourage young people to participate and there was always this question, will they . Will they . And they are turning out. They are. And i want to show you this thing. We are seeing a surge in early voting and a lot of them are from young people. This will be the first election where young voters are going to out you know, theres more of them than older voters. But the question is, will they perform. Rosario, just tell me, what are you seeing from your fan base of young people saying, are they voting . Oh, my goodness, yes. And i think a huge testament to think about is, these are the kids who grew up with School Shootings and now having fire drills, you know, shooting drills. These are the kids who are growing up and looking at Climate Change be a very real thing and watching leadership still deny it. And really worrying about their planet. So weve been watching, i mean, you cant go throughout history without seeing young people being at the forefront of it. But so often, they havent necessarily then marched to the polls. But weve been seeing that change in the past few years. It showed up in the last midterms. You have the march for our lives kids coming out, who always did Voter Registration when they came together. Theyve been doing their road to change bus tour that went across the country, where they were meeting young activists and reuniting and you know, uniting and coming together and doing Voter Registration. They started that, you know, never again organization in 2018, right in time for the last midterms, which i think really showed up. These kids, theyre a voting age. The columbine kids, the 9 11 kids, theyre all voting age right now. And theyve grown up in a very different kind of world than some of us older ones who have maybe a different perspective of how things could be, this is all they know. And they know theyre the ones who can make that change. And im loving seeing them showing up and going, no, never again. This gun violence is done. This denying science, denying Climate Change is done. And we are more than happy to lead the charge. And weve been pushing and believing in the youth vote. Latinos are the first ones to get hurt on the job, last one to get compensated. We are really getting hard hit. And i think in that same community, we are the second largest voting bloc, and were showing up right now. So rosario, not only are we showing up, but its the testament of hard work of activists like you, of actors like you and joey saying, yes, im an entertainer, but an american and a patriot first.
