part of my transformation these past months has been learning to cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters. it's a cliché, sure. but my god, is it an important one. well, you know that walter's birth was incredibly traumatic, and he almost died, and holiday almost died. but that moment was one of the most powerful moments of my life, and i think of anyone's life, but especially almost losing the baby. and then he was brought out to me and put in my arms as i sat in this hallway with blood on the floor. - yeah. - and i looked into his eyes, and... it was really unbelievable. and it was a series of emotions that i didn't know i had. it was kind of a pride and elation, and a wonder at the miracle of life itself. and it's utterly-- it's transformative.
