fires. in simi valley, in southern california, new fires and concerns that they could become quite severe, as strong winds are expected over the next day and a half there. sam brock is in healdsburg, california, for us right now. and sam, as i understand it, you are in front of what used to be a winery. >> reporter: it did. it was a winery, craig, for about 150 years, until sunday struck. it was standing then and this is the result afterwards, which is just total devastation. the amazing part about this is that it was, obviously, this is a wind-driven event. the fire, when this happened, was all the way on the ridge line up here, okay? so probably a good mile if not more away from where we are right now. the flames came all the way down here on sunday morning and tore this to pieces. this was here for 150 years. the wine tasting room right here. but it's not just that. there are all of these people who are living here as well. if you keep walking down here, there's a house on the other
