affidavits, the reason why the federal government can go and get the information that they can get. some of those search warrant returns were provided blanked out, totally redacted. meaning that the government wasn't comfortable at this point sharing with the four men that have been charged in this case, some of the things that they are seeking and some of the reasons why they can get some of the information that they've been able to get. including search warrants of actual physical premises. so it's clear that there is definitely an ongoing investigation here. prosecutors definitely said that. but it's clear that there's things here that some of the people involved in this case, they don't want them to know about. and that's been filed under seal directly with the judge in this case. >> tom, thank you. good to see you, sir. tom winter, nbc news investigations reporter. coming up, president trump continues his aggressive approach to trade. announcing this morning he's renewing tariffs on all steel and arnl tina and brazil. we are going to have the details after the break. you are watching msnbc. you are watching msnbc re on med.
