Happy friday. Maybe not so good for folks of congress. A new wall street journal poll shows 60 of americans, 60 want to replace every Single Member of congress. Are these dismal poll numbers having any kind of effect on the gridlock . Well, a lot of the lawmaker that is ive been speaking with this week say that theyre aware of these polls, but i dont really think it is. I think this is just the new normal, if you will. Dont say that. Well, that being said, we do have rumors of a temporary sixweek deal that could happen any day now. Well, lets talk about it for just a second, they are talking about the sixweek deal, is that really just going to delay what inevitably is going to have to happen, them coming to some sort of agreement. If it gets approved, well see this another six weeks down the road . Yeah, just in time for the holidays well have all this madness all over again. If you are the republicans, you look at this and you see that perhaps they might interpret this that their tactics in some ways worked because nothing really will be settled. So i think youre going to be seeing a lot of people declaring victory, including senator ted cruz, because i think that the stall and delay tactic is just going to carry us right into december and then after december its just in time for the midterm elections of 2014. Well, you mentioned victories, the dow was up 320 points yesterday, the second best performance percentagewise this year, so does wall street know something that maybe main street doesnt . Well, so right yesterday early in the morning when we saw that bounce on wall street, just like ten minutes later it was the rumor circulating that Speaker John Boehner was open to a shorter term deal.
