think that's a step in the right direction? >> look, i'm an immigrant myself. this is a very complex and difficult issue. i think the president is doing everything he can, he present an immigration plan to congress in which congress has not acted to implement. the truth is, this is a huge challenge for the entire hemisphere. so, the president is doing everything he can to open up the new centers, in other countries, places where migrants can seek asylum. he's ready with this brand a caucus, working with those of us that are interested in broader immigration policy. we also know, republicans are actually thinking more difficult, just last, week and on that security meeting, republicans are trying to defund charities and ngos, that actually supporting migrants, supporting shelter. supporting providing food and access, and actually basic services. so, republicans keep trying to actually demonize immigrants, i think the biden administration is working with congress to try to put a plan together. kevin mccarthy won't bring anything to a vote. so, we'll do everything we can to support the administration, also, to. push and ensure that margaret being treated fairly. >> congressman, robert garcia,
