Tomorrows festivities include two bike parade, kite festival and, of course, fire works where ever you go down the shore, new jersey, delaware, have fun and a safe time. Now in other News Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly quadruple shooting in nicetown. Authorities say gun bolt erupted overnight between suspect and victim he tried to rob. Reporter more than 50 yellow markers dotted the intersection of clairesa and juniata street sunday morning evidence of the huge gun battle in nicetown that left four people shot, two of those people dead. And with stray bullets flying, police say it is amazing there werent more injuries. I looked out and nobody had been hurt, within the home, thank god. Reporter and not only one home hit but a couple cars on the block had windows shattered too. Police say all this destruction is as a result of the botched attempted robbery just before 2 30 a. M. Police say a man approached three people in the 1900 block of juniata with a ski mask over his face and armed with a handgun. Police say he tried to rob the group. It turns out that someone in that group was armed too possibly with an Assault Rifle and a shootout erupted. All four were hit. We have two different caliber weapons one appears to be a 45, era peers to be an Assault Rifle. Definite exchange of gunfire that took place at this location. Reporter the initial robbery suspect was found dead a block away at clairesa and brunner street. Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital also shot. One of those men died there later this morning. It is just another senseless act of violence.
