Never fun to wake up with the foggy weather but again we did have it. The good news it is already burning off, because of all that sunshine, and it makes things nicer here to begin the day. Temperatures are slowly rising as well, just about an hour ago, i showed you our Neighborhood Network here from kutztown air there was at least a good amount of fog, at least a little bit of fog, i thought it was a good amount right along the ground. Right along this nice farm field but good news the sun has come up and it has burned or at least most of the fog out of the area. We are sitting at 59. A few areas out toward lancaster still maybe a little bit on the foggy side but rest of us looking good, trenton reporting a two and a half mile visibility, probably even a little better then that. It doesnt look like we will see that much fog toward trenton and southeastern bucks county here starting the day out but just keep an eye out on the road getting going this morning. Temperatures for the most part 60s out there. Up to 67 degrees in philadelphia we have an on shore flow. Temperatures at the shore are in the mid 60s. We are not going to see the super warm, throughout the afternoon hours. Looking at those 60s toward reading, allentown at 60, 63 degrees respectively. As we go through rest of the afternoon temperatures will rise. We will get all the way up to 75 degrees here in the city. We will get with that mix of sun and included in the afternoon as well, partly cloudy skies for the shore. Not a whole lot different. 67 degrees there. Eyewitness News Reporter anita oh joins us live this morning from the scene where we understand she just had an update from fire officials there, fire commissioner, anita, good morning. Reporter good morning. Very sad news to report this morning. We have just learn that the child that Fire Fighters rescued from this home have died at Hahnemann University hospital. We have also learned that Fire Fighters have recovered the bodies of an adult and another child inside of the home at this time. Now i will step out of the way and show you a active scene here still on the corner of the north sixth street and westmontmont avenue. You can see that there are still many Fire Fighters out here and they just got done with that very dangerous recovery effort in this unstable building trying to get to those two bodies. Now Fire Fighters and medics rushed here 4 40 this morning to find these two row homes here fully engulfed in flames. They were able to rescue that young child but that child has passed away at Hahnemann University hospital just a short time ago. Fire commissioner adam tiehl described the dangerous Recovery Efforts inside. Very serious fire, on the scene. Unaudible. Despite very heavy fire. Unaudible. Reporter again at this time three people are confirmed dead including one grand mom and two young children. We have, learned that the two parents inside were able to jump to safety but at this time still too early to tell what may have sparked this blaze. The shooting happened at north wilton and heston streets around 2 00 this morning. We are told the victim was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, so far no arrests have been made. Police are trying to figure out a motive while checking out nearby cameras for clues. Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in frankford, this shooting happened at torresdale and bridge street, police say a man was shot, rush to the hospital where were told an argument spark the gun fire there but we are in the sure what that fight was about. Police say victim is in stable condition and so far in arrests. In new jersey, now, authorities are investigating an accident after a pedestrian was hit by aid vehicle in willingboro, township, and were told crash happened around 11 00 last night. Pedestrian was rush to the hospital, no word on the victims condition at this time. Well, phillies fans are mourning loss of the Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Bunning this morning, a moment of silence was held in honor of the former pitcher turned politician before last nights game. Alycia nieves has more on the man that some say played a central role in the phillies history. At age of 85 baseball of of Famer Jim Bunning has passed. Bunning was probably one of my favorite heroes growing up as a young kid. Reporter bunning was introduced to the world of baseball in the 1950s but phillies fans took notice and fell for the side arm pitcher from kentucky, after this moment on fathers day 1964. A perfect game for jim bunning. We discuss that had perfect game many times, with other fans, what you were doing. Everybody knows where they were that day. I was 13 years old. I wanted to go someplace my father werent let me go. He said you might never see a perfect game again. Reporter bunning cemented his leg ace which many more memorable moment during his 17 season career when he retired and was eventually induct in the Baseball Hall of fame, although he pitched for three other teams he chose to honor phillies wearing the team cap on his hall of fame plaque. I got to know him real well in 1971 because we had jim bunning day and we gave jim a volkswagen bus because of the number of children he had. Jim was able to balance both being a hall of fame baseball player were being a u. S. Senator and also, you know, incredible family man. It is a tough loss. They battled drugs and alcohol made headlines, allmans manager said musician was battling liver cancer when he passioned away. Greg was a warm, kind heart ed, southern gentlemen. He loved people. He really loved life and one of his greatest joys was being out on the road playing music in front of the fans on a regular basis. Now allman recently cancelled tour dates due to his health problems, greg all man was 69 years old. We will have some sunshine here this morning, we had some fog, early on in the in the city but out to the west and good news it is all burning off. We will have it, a pretty nice afternoon with good sunshine but we will have some cloud that do filth inner from time to time. Not a completely sunny day but a really just good, day, our theme, nice weather, it continues for our Holiday Weekend, but we will watch as a weak area of low pressure does roll into tonight. It is a weak center of low pressure and that gives us a chance for a stray shower in the overnight hours tonight. Thunderstorm tonight and then early tomorrow morning cannot be completely ruled out either but good news it is not a wash out of a day, on monday. Our best chance for showers will be really in the morning and then we are looking at dryer weather through our memorial day afternoon. Outside right now this is boardwalk at rehoboth a few extra people starting to work their way down on to the sand and beach but lots of folks out there, all morning long, on the boardwalk, we see a couple people running. Guy on his bike doing his thing. Not a bad morning. It is already a warm start to the day in areas, down to our south where we are look at temperatures this morning along the coastline and down in the delaware as well. They are in the mid to even at times upper 60s. So a mild morning but an on shore flow throughout the day will keep those temperatures relatively steady in that mid to upper 60s range through the afternoon because we have that sea breeze. Future weather, we are looking at a mixture of sun and included from the shore through center city and maybe more cloud cover up toward poconos and a few stray rain sprinkles up there in the poconos as well as we go through afternoon and evening hours. As we go later tonight and tomorrow morning here comes our front and area of low pressure by 2 00 in the morning anytime after midnight or so, we will start to see showers and isolated rumble of thunder. Future weather comes in with areas of more moderate, heavy rainfall out to the west of lancaster and also around trenton we will see a cell there on the higher side, more intense, while there is potential of maybe a few more intense cells it really will be a more, shower and isolated thunderstorm kind of an event rather then these areas of really heavy rainfall. In the looking for too bad of a night tonight, but by tomorrow afternoon cloud cover slide out all precipitation is gone by tomorrow afternoon a few stray spotty showers, could still linger but it will be a dry monday afternoon, and then getting into tuesday it looks like we will once again be looking at dry conditions, plenty of sunshine as well and we will be warming things up as well in the 80s. The initial diagnosis, is completely devastating. Because there are very serious cardiovascular issues. Sometimes people dont put all of the pieces together. Reporter doctor page kaplan established the will yams specialty clinic at childrens hospital. I saw how many different steps were needed to take care of these children. Reporter children also have similar facial features like rose, an upturned know, puffy eyes, small chin and that charming personality trait. I like to play. Children with williams syndrome tend to be incredibly loving, friendly, and just wonderful to be around. Reporter which in second meeting rose holds my hand but the unfortunate reality is being this outing, can be dangerous for children and people with williams syndrome. Rose has so much empathy, positivity and hope that it has been a life changing experience for me but it is a double edged sword. They are very prone to sexual df being taken advantage of. Reporter rose parents have talks about stranger danger and she sees 10 specialists, for new shes a happy proud big sister but her future is unclear. Williams syndrome is very rare, aside from clinical symptoms it can be confirmed with genetic testing. Reporter good morning, jan very sad details as we are learning about this fire. Wow know Fire Fighters were able to rescue one child inside and that child was taken to Hahnemann University hospital but we have just learned that child has just passed away. We have learned that Fire Fighters have recovered two bodies inside, one adult and within child. It is still a active scene here on north sixth street and westmontmont avenue. We know that the cities licenses and Inspections Department is out here, assessing the damage, and Structural Integrity of the building. We know it was a very dangerous recovery effort, for Fire Fighters getting inside to try to find those two bodies that were unaccounted for but, of course, now we know that one adult and that one child has died in this blaze. We also know that the two parents inside were able to jump to safety, after this fire sparked around 4 40 this morning. And Fire Fighters and medics did rush here to find these two or three story row homes engulfed in flames. A teenager is hailed a hero this morning after rescuing his baby nephew from a burning home in philadelphia s overbrook neighborhood. Fire broke out around 10 30 saturday morning in the 1,000 block of flanders road, Authorities Say that the family did a head count and then realized the baby was missing, that is when the young man ran inside the burning home to get his nephew President Trump is back in washington this morning after wrapping up his week Long International trip, before leaving italy the president visited u.
