It happened in the 4800 block. Police dispatchers say officers were in the area when they heard shots fired. When they arrived, they say, group of men scattered. Now they were able to track down several of them, and did make some arrests, they are, how much, still looking for at least one person. Police say 600 harbison avenue, city wissinoming section wawa was rob. Man with an american nabbed bandana over his face walked in and pulled a gun before running off with cash and cigarettes. No one was hurt. Crash happened near intersection of north 22nd street, just after 3 00 this morning, firefighters tell us, two people were transported to hahnemann hospital. No word on their conditions, and the cause. Crash is not clear. This morning, at least one person has been arrested after a Police Brutality protest in philadelphia. That demonstration took place last night, and ended at the 24th25th Police District in juniata park. That person pointed a spotlight at a Police Helicopter flying overhead. No word on the charges that person is facing but this happened as a crowd of about 300 people marched about 6 miles from fair hills to the police station, demonstrating against the Fatal Police Shooting in minnesota, louisianna, Eyewitness News reporter tran dough tells us for the most part the protest went on without incident. Are you tired . Yes. Multi cultural crowd came together in west cambria, for the fourth protest in as many nights in philadelphia include some demonstrators, rallied against bruce brew tail at this for decades. Nothing, if anything, getting worse emptying thats going to change is the people, not going to come from their establishment. Will come from the people rising up, dozens of officers, to ensure no one got hurt as the crowd spread their message through the street of north philadelphia. Here just to make sure everyone is safe and goes home safe. Cherry has three sons, two youngest joint her at the rally. They say love is the answer, and relations between police and the Community Must improve. The first time that meeting should happen shouldnt be under a violent or tense situation. They should get to know each other. Thats a form of community policing. Local officers across the region have now taken to facebook, giving thanks for support they have received. One man literally took a stand in browns mills, he spent hours with a waiving a flag in memory of the fallen Police Officers in dallas. Someone delivered floral arrangement to the move Coventry Police department. Sender wanted to remain anonymous, but it did include a thank you card. Five Police Officers had st. Paul, minnesota recovering this morning after being hurt overnight, and they clashed with protesters and we just learned that 50 arrests were made. Demonstrators shutdown part of i94 last night as they made their way to the governors residence, police say some protesters started throwing things including fireworks and they responded by using glass balls with smoke to disperse the crowd. Interstate reopened about 2 30 our time this morning. Cleared the road to let traffic pass through, Police Spokesman says, officers confiscated two firearms, made several arrests. The demonstrators are protesting of course the Fatal Shooting of officer sterling by two Police Officers, at a convenience tore parking lot last week. At chicago, group vowed to shut down chicago food festival, marched at the event with their hands held hi, and in atlanta, demonstrators walked in silence. Learning more, about a peaceful protest in dallas, Kenneth Craig reports, tensions remains high even days after the attack. High drama on the street of dallas saturday night. Well, if you ride the train with septa, some good news this morning, septa releasing new rail schedule today, that will include more trains. Cherri gregg, from sister station kyw news radio, is live at 30th street station, and tells us when these changes are going into effect, and cherry there is should affect a lot of people. And i lover bringing good news, that new schedule will go into effect first thing monday morning, and it will bring an additional 1700 seat on line for Regional Rails, not a moment too soon. Look behind me. Take a look at the ontime schedules on the board, get used to it, it will probably and different story tomorrow. Now, take a look at what commuters experienced this week. Since tuesday, delays, over crowded trains, skipped stops, long wait times. But luckily, tomorrow septas effort to cut deals to lease three train sets, from amtrak, and new jersey, and marylander, transit authorities will begin paying off, easing some of the burdens end. The 1700 additional seat though will only provide limited relief, even with the additional trains. Septa still faces a 11,000 plus seat deficit on it Regional Rails. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for this issue since a third of the septa Regional Rail fleet has been side lined after cracks were discovered in all but five of the 120 silver line rail cars. Now, septa Officials Say the agency is adding more local service, theyll increase parking, extends rush hour service, and add shuttle buses. Hopefully providing even more relief. But the problem could persist through labor day. Commuters say the past week hasnt been easy. Been a little frustrating. A lot of lateness it, one day it will be on time, next day it will be like 38 minutes late, Something Like that. So today i cant get there until an hour and 15 minute later. Now, showing that board again, now, get used to that, i hate teasing people, but these ontime schedules are not likely to persist tomorrow, again, that new updated schedule will be released today. Her thumb was too close to her finger, almost a web, had two surgeries to separate her thumb so she could grab plays trombone, straight a student, speaks to other young people, with differences about overcoming, her message to them like even if stuff happens, thats hard, like eventually it works out. Work continues in vineland, new jersey today address threat of possible ammonia gas leak, violent ice and cold storage. Epa connected part of the refrigeration system to air scrubber, but, additional connections still need to be made. And then, somebody did this years ago, and ive never forgotten this, that is they put, because they figured they couldnt walk far enough, or talk far enough, but they put missing signs on their car and drove around neighborhoods. So smart. With pictures, and thats how the dog was able to get back. Now, dianne smith, from the pennsylvania spca, explains why it is important that you really do continually check these shelters. Just because it hasnt been found right away, sometimes, the animal might be running loose for some period of time before it is turned into the shelter. Continually, go back, re walk through, retry to identify your animal. Many a. M. Maps returned to their owners after quite a bit of time. Recently had an animal that had been adopted for us last year go missing. And it was missing for several weeks before it ended up at act philly. It was reunited when its owner because after microchip. When you find a pet, be sure to take it to the vet to a cheryle, even finds a pet, you can keep it at your own house while you look for the owner. Animal with a city tag will be kept for ten days without a staying or microchip, maybe as little as 48 hours. Oh, no. Okay. So you have to move fast. Do you have get there. What i love about her, she has the marking around one eye, she also has brown eyelashes, on one eye, and blonde on the other. She is an absolute love. Loves a tummy rub. She can sit. So gentle, fu.
