M. , cars parked in the area around the ben franklin parkway from the art museum to 12th street will be towed. Then on monday, tuesday, and wednesday, more towing north, south and east of the parkway, and along emergency routes. Resident in these tow areas must book a space at one of six designated parking garages, those who have a Residential Permit can park therefore free. Those who dont have to pay 20 bucks for that privilege. In exchange, for booking the space, the Parking Authority will give resident a permit that exempts them from towing through thursday when those garages open. Of course, much of this towing that will happen today is to make room for dozens of jumbo tron screens, 100foot archway, platforms, and other construction necessary for sound towers, and stages, needed for the musical performances on saturday and sunday, scott runs ems productions, group charged with september.
