Reporter democrats dont see it that way. Lets just for a moment breathe a sigh of relief for the american people. Reporter house debated the bill for five hearst before the speaker pulled the plug. Our nation has endured seven long years of this mess and today we have the obligation and responsibility to act. The faa has released the conversation between actor and air Traffic Controller just moments after last months mishap. Stacy butler picks up the story. Reporter it is not a call any pilot wants to make but after actor and pilot Harrison Ford landed his single engine plane on the taxiway at john way airport last month he had to call to explain yes came dangerously close to an American Airlines boeing 737, with 116 passengers on board. You could hear ford acknowledge the screw up to an air Traffic Controller. Cell even if video of the near miss last month you can see fords plane but the taxiway, in audio recordings released, ford explains he was distracted and concerned about turbulence from another air liner when he landed on the taxiway. When controller told him of the possible pilot deviation ford said. I understand, i totally understand. Reporter pilot of the boeing 737 seen here taxiing before take off, is heard saying to the Airport Tower manager that ford flew less than a hundred feet from his plane, tower manager said. But controller even stated that there was a at lee, you know, less than a hundred feet , from his perspective. We know it was definitely not a good position for him to be in. So can i just get your name , pilots license. My name is Harrison Ford and my pilots license. Let me dig it out here. It is in my backpack. Take your time, no big deal it is a big deal for me. That is stacy butler reporting, landing on a taxiway instead of the runway is a violation of the faa regulation. Agency, continue to investigation. It is extreme wind and hail from the severe thunderstorm in texas. That gas station awning offered little to know protection since the wind was blowing heavy rain and hail sideways through that covered area wind sent cans flying and caused power flashes throughout the area. My goodness what a site. That is typical for early spring and late march we will have temperatures up and down. We will start outside. We are dry, skies pretty much overcast, and we may see a few breaks from time to time this morning but generally cloud are the rule, temperature compared to the pennsylvania few morning, not bad in the upper 40s and 50s, showing up, in northampton county, where we have clearing, charles at 47 degrees, up in bath, closer to the city, lower 50s, and same deal over in new jersey, and Lynn Springer in cherry hill, 52 degrees, mostly cloudy skies, depend, couple cooler spots interior south jersey in the 40s. If were lucky we will get to 50. Warm air mass right now front to the north and well to the west, so every where south of this front, ande of that front it will be warm. So feeling good here, in the midatlantic but that front will move southward, we will get showers in here later tonight and tomorrow and front to the west that comes in here early next week. Any chances to day not that high, 30 percent chance late in the day, spotty stuff, tomorrow 50 percent chance, more drizzle type deal, lidle mist, need wipers at times and better chance for widespread scattered showers on monday and tuesday, maybe even a thunderstorm coming at us on tuesday afternoon. Into the afternoon couple showers especially north of the city today, maybe more sun to our south, far south jersey into delaware and then better chance of spotty showers coming in tonight so have umbrellas, rain jackets around with dinner plans around town, anywhere across the Delaware Valley. Tomorrow morning, spotty showers around, a little drizzle, mist throughout the day on sunday and more showers arriving sunday night into monday. Look at the temperatures, all about the wind, ahead of that front to our north, we will be in the lower 70s. Interior south jersey, central delaware may reach mid 70s if we can see a few peaks of sunshine. East wind, temperatures tomorrow morning into the 40s and maybe like i said if were lucky we will get to 50 for the high in philadelphia even cooler to the north and west. Overall pattern very active with the jet stream, again, cold pockets of the air come in from time to time. Cooler shot of the running into our area by end of the next week, temperatures a few days above average and then back below. We will show you in the seven day. Today warm, 72, a few showers around tonight, cooler in the 40s. Tomorrow 50s. Back to the 60s monday with showers. Seventy on tuesday with some showers. You know what else is good today, justin the Weather Forecast. Thank you so much for that. Yes, finally springlike conditions but it will not stay like this we have to remember tomorrow, fickle month, up and down, make a run at 70s. That puts news typical for early may conditions, for most of the Delaware Valley. Not a lot of sun so we have cloud around maybe a few showers coming in here especially Late Afternoon in, to the night time hours, especially north of the city. Depend, where you are, that is all about the temperatures but there are mild spots we will get that taste of spring in here on the first spring weekend. In woodbine, new jersey, William Powell 55. Fiftythree in cherry hill. Cooler in west chester. Dineen is cooler at 42. Lower 50s around philadelphia , and eagleville upper 40s, chesterfield, lawrence villain near the shore greg wood in ocean wood, new jersey at 57, already this morning. So no problems hitting 60s and zero sevens in most of the region today we go to south jersey where is there a break, in the cloud, across the region, and then through go, live look from cape may courthouse 56 degrees with partial sunshine there, or some skies, sunrise coming up in half an hour. So youll get an okay sunrise, west southwest wind at 11 miles an hour bringing in the milder air. Heres the set up, really the forecast for the pattern will be unsettled, next several days, to at least tuesday. We have a stalled out front flopping north and south of the Delaware Valley. That keeps skies mainly cloudy and there will be times of light rain, drizzle especially starting tonight all the way true tuesday and then temperatures kind of all over the place today, warm side tomorrow, much cooler and reason is that front. Right new front to the north of us, high today in problems reaching the lower 70s from the city south, into delaware, new jersey, front will move through boston area. High there in the 40s but that cooler air does push southward tonight so back door cold front comes from the north and not the west like most front do until we get cooler flow off ocean tomorrow ocean 41 degrees.
