New this morning, Police Investigating after shooting breaks out at bar in pennsauken, new jersey, it happened in the 1400 block of route 73 north outside the regal banquet hall. They tell us two men were shot, both taken to the hospital. No details on their conditions. A car struck two women in Center City Philadelphia this morning. Police say this happened, around 2 30 this morning and long 1100 block of market street. Both in their 20s, critical condition. Driver gets to stay on the scene, the cause of the accident is under investigation. And police are investigating a hitandrun in philadelphias cobbs creek section. It happened at midnight at 51st and hazel avenue. Investigators say, the driver hit five parked cars, and got out of his car, and ran away from the scene. No one was hurt in this accident. Police still looking for that driver. And just before midnight, police tell us one person was trapped inside their car after an accident in southwest philly. It happened near 84th and lund berg avenue. Two people were hurt in the crash. Both are in stable condition. All drivers remained at the scene. Police are investigating. And, off duty officer recovering in the hospital this morning, after assault in center city. It happened around 8 00 last night at 15th and walnut st. The off Duty Police Officer suffered a deep cut and now in stable condition. Police arrested two suspect for an altercation. Philadelphia police are investigating an officer involved shooting in olney. It happened during a traffic stop at fourth and lindly around 6 00 yesterday evening. Officer chase add man who got out of the carp, police say the suspect pointed a gun at the officer, that officer shot the suspect. The suspect is in critical condition. The officer was not hurt. Police are now looking for a third suspect, because a second suspect in the car is now in police custody. An hours long standoff yesterday between a barricaded man and police ended peacefully, began at hulmeville road, gilliam avenue around noon in langhorne, bucks county. Police arrived to check on 43 year old man, and quickly turned into this barricade situation. At one point police say the armed suspect fired one shot from the house. That hit a tree. Around 8 00 police were able to arrest the suspect. Some members of the gay and Lesbian Community say they fear for their safety after recent attacks in the wake of the president ial election. Philadelphia police are looking into at least two incidents in south philadelphia. Eyewitness News Reporter alexandria hoff has the latest. Police here at south detectives have now interviewed a man who was allegedly targeted and attacked for being gay. This happened thursday night, near oregon and broad streets. After receiving word of this, mayor jim kenney responded with an emotional statement saying it is difficult to express the full extent of the devestation and anger i felt upon learning of this hate crime. And in the health watch now, new hope for people with advanced parkinsons disease. And it is giving some of them the ability to lead normal lives again. The six a year old retired Police Commissioner and naval officer has advance the parkinsons disease. But now that hes receiving a fda approved treatment, to manage his symptoms, it is not as obvious. In may doctors insert add tube in to jacks small intestines attached to outside p. M. , which is attached to a cassette with two medications continuously delivered up to 16 hours a day. Patients using the treatment no longer have to worry about taking pills at the right time. The pump allows me to be free it, it means the patient is going all the time, no wearing off. Jack was up and dancing with his wife a half hour after the procedure. We havent dance in the eight years. We were spinning around, and just amazing. Jack says, it was night and day when he took his grand daughter to a social event after getting the pump. I had gone to that event last year. And i had to be helped. This year i went, i didnt need any help at all. I held her hand, we renee cross the street, you know, these are big things. Thats the way he hopes his grand daughter remember him, independent, and able to enjoy doing things with his family. Portland police advising protesters to move off the streets and on to the sidewalk. Several hundred Police Continue to protest in portland, and there were multiple after he cents after bottles and other items were thrown at officers smaller protests, but remained fairly peaceful. Few officers were hurt during protests in indianapolis. Hillary clinton is blaming the head of the fbi for her election lost. It is a walk run, and thousands of people will be coming out, a lot of them in honor or memory after child who had cancer, and in some cases, someone else, an adult in their, who had cancer. And everybody is here to support the cause, help finds a cure. Yes. And this is, first of all, lets talk about the foundation. Youre alexs mom. Alex started this legacy that you and your husband have continued for many years. Yes, were very lucky, i mean, i honestly sometimes cant believe that al sex my daughter and i was so fortunate to be her mom and just what happened since she set up her stand in our front yard now raising 130 million. Weve funded hundreds of project all across the country we found new carriers, pushing forward, and really looking forwards to the day where we will just like close up shop and close her stand and say we finished what she started. Amen. So lets talk about today. I mean there is one is extremely unique, in large part, because of the large number of children that come out today. It is extremely alex is all about family. One of the things we said when we started this, we want it to be kidfriendly. So it is a full walk run, full 5k, walk or run, what we find is families come out, they start with the little ones walking, then the kids want it run a little, and before you know it, were hearing from them they ran the whole thing this year, this is the first 5k my child ran, or we ran it together. That to me, in fact, my on son has grown up with it, so we ran for the first time, his first 5k after many years of walking and easing into running. Very cool. Very cool. This run kicks off today at 8 00. And you can still register up until the run begins, and there is going to be the run where people get tide together and percent path, lots every fun, and why people come out and support this . It seems like it will be a loft fun, i already see the alexs lemonade stands getting set up. It is a great cause. We need the support, now more than ever, we are getting so close, but also just a great way to start this beautiful day, get up, get moving, and have some fun, while doing something good. The rocky balboa 5k and 10k took place with the course ending at the art museum saturday. Volunteers from the church as well as nextdoor Rowan University bag and carry groceries for client. It means a lot to me. It helps me through the month for food and stuff. It is such a great blessing. I just appreciate the help, and the support in the community. This saturday it includes food for families help prepare thanksgiving meal. While full of love and support the kitchen of hope has challenges specifically finding source respect of need and fresh produce. Their wish this Holiday Season, new donors, and more helpers.
