So we posted up outside a wawa in lansdowne and then hit up main street in west reading, our question simple what did you think about last night. I think it was a good decision on his part because he went in the rural areas and able to get the vote, which we never thought that would happen. Very disgusted. Very upset. This country will be horrible. I will not want him to represent me overseas. I think we have to move forward. Being so divided isnt good for either side and not good for anybody. If you told me he was the guy his whole premise was to bring people apart and then together. I thought it was ridiculous to be that close and it kind of shows me how people honestly feel. My daughter said that the mean guy one, the mean guy. I said yes, the mean guy won. This is our president now. We have to pray for the best. In king of prussia live tonight joe holden for cbs3 Eyewitness News. Thanks very much. As he mentioned philadelphias surrounding suburbs played a key role in swinging pennsylvania in the red. And when you look at the state as a whole you can see most of the counties, went to donald trump but closer look at southeastern part of the state showed clinton still carried those expected counties. The problem down here, it is the margin for her. In Philadelphia County clinton cleaned uptaking 82 percent of the vote, that is 455,000 more votes then trump. That was expect. But surrounding counties is where we saw that difference n bucks county, 48 percent, each with Clinton Holding a 2,000 vote edge. And montgomery county, a wider lead as clinton took 59 percent to trumps 38 percent. In Chester County a smaller but still fairly sizable lead, 53 percent to 43 percent. And a nearly 25,000 vote lead for Hillary Clinton. Finally Delaware County where clinton rolled to a 12 percent advantage, 59 to 37 over trump. That is a lot of thumbs. We want to talk about them now. Joining me is Chris Stigall from wpht. We will take a closer look. In looking at those numbers, hearing from those voters that joe talk to, is what your take on the bill a suburbs. Reporter it is pretty clear that mrs. Clinton did not do what she wanted to do. She got about right at what they were hoping in philadelphia, 450,000, 450,000, 455, it wasnt quite what she wanted, she could have done much better. The suburbs, did well for her too as you just pointed out, jessica but it was wet. And that is what was remarkable, although it is notable that here in the philadelphia suburbs and this is something to point out it doesnt happen very often. There were a couple of ward for donald trump that dont typically happen. You are talking about a ward in philadelphia that hasnt been carried by a republican instant 1988, just looking at data here, three ward, two in northeast philadelphia, one in south philadelphia carried by donald trump. That is fairly uncommon. Of course, as you go west that is where donald trump really shined shore brightly. You talk to votes lot on your radio show, what are you hearing from them today as they look forward to president elect trump. I personally dont feel that there is a lot of end zone dancing. Trump voters to my mind just dont necessarily feel like they beat mrs. Clinton as much as they are trying to reverse what they feel was the last eight years of some pretty activist federal government. They hope that donald trump will reverse course. It is not so much about what they will, what donald trump and the government will do, what the republicans will do to the american election, it is what they hepp they will undue, like obama care for instance. That probably at top of the list, trump has talk about that a and now with full control of congress that is likely to happen. Chris, before we go, it is anybodys guess at this point exactly how donald trump will govern, dare you take a stab at that one. Well, no i cant, i dont know, it is anybodys guess. You asked me what people are looking for, those that voted for donald trump. The Supreme Court ranks number one but i can tell you this that the vast majority of the donald trump voters will be watching him closely with the Republican House and senate to make sure that he unwind, undoes, steps back from what many of trump voters feel was an activist role in government.
