Tonight police are looking for a killer after two men were stabbed multiple times in front of the che on stenton street in east mt. Airy just after 2 00 in the morning. We know there were people there that saw this. We have a general description but we know that there were people that know who they are and we need them to contact the homicide unit and give them a name. Reporter Philadelphia Police homicide captain james clark told Eyewitness News that 29 yearold jeff on picket died after someone drove him to Einstein Medical Center a stage hand for nicki minaj. Also in the car a 27 yearold minaj is identifying as eric. He too, one of her stage hand. Clark says that while several witnessed, the suspect acted alone. One of those males pulled out a knife and stabbed both of them multiple times. Reporter are minaj responded on on her twitter account. She tweeted two members of my team were stabbed last night in philly. One was kill. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour, end quote. Minaj and her boyfriend meek mill are scheduled to be in a a show in philadelphia next month. We will do everything that we can to bring this killer to justice as we do all of them. I did speak to the manager of che a little while ago and says the the company has no comment about what happened. Police are offering a 20,000 reward. We could not see the the hole but we did see the the small leak through a light socket in the garage. It started, end of last week when temperatures dropped and it a has been constant since then. Reporter another call of frozen pipes had in the burst yesterday rj and brian were able to melt freeze quickly Problem Solved but how do you avoid it in the first place. With the cold temperatures it just prays on, you know, weak pipes. Reporter preventive measures might have stop the leak in city hall. Cold weather caused a ninth floor pipe to burst that flooded Council Chambers overnight monday. Back at the first home we showed you it would have helped too. Instead it took a blow torch and a valve to isolate the the line and there will be more work required down the road. There is certainly more work required here at city hall. You can see those workers still continuing to air this place out, we are told that the city Council Chambers wont be opening again for business until early next week. Live from inside city hall, matt rivers for cbs3 Eyewitness News. Students at this Elementary School in wilmington delaware were evacuated due to a gas leak. Approximately 395 students were relocated to ps du pont Elementary School. Fire officials a a that leak originated in the basement of the school but the school will be opened during normal hours tomorrow. We have some breaking news now a suspect case of measles at princeton university. Additional tests are now underway, and in a statement princeton says that the student has recovered and is no longer contagious. The university is contacting those who may have been in the same area as that student with the suspect measles. Well, fight break out between two workers in Montgomery County and it end with one dead, that worker was stabbed to death, the the other worker believed to be the suspect was injured. Reporter chris, it is business as usual a at jbs meat packing plant. We have been watching trucks still going in and out of this factory. People are still at work as if Nothing Happened just a few hours ago, which it did, and it is tough to believe that employees were involved in a fatal stabbing here right outside the factory. Police recovered one knife in connection to the double stabbing here at jbs meat packing plant known to many as the moyer packing plant. It is a factory that has seen its fair share of blood processing animal byproducts but this morning was different. Investigators say two employees got in an altercation outside factory which led to a double stabbing. One is deceased the other is in the the hospital right now. Reporter montco First AssistantDistrict Attorney says the surviving employee is their suspect. He remains in custody as he is treated for his injuries. Danny vasquez was identified as the victim in the second employee who was killed. Investigators are still working to figure out what exactly cause that had altercation which led up to the stabbing. Philadelphias District Attorney is challenging Governor Tom Wolf suspension of the Death Penalty in pennsylvania. D. A. Seth williams filed a lawsuit with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court today. He claimed the decision that the governor made last week is unconstitutional and says that the power to place a moratorium belongs to the legislature, courts and pardons board. Im standing in between two boil their were built in the 1920s originally they were coal fired and then converted to oil, ultimately they were taken off line for higher technology, in the mid 70s. The in the 90s the plant became a co generators both steam and electricity. The water is gaining heat and ultimately becomes steam. Reporter at 450 degrees pressurized to push through a 41mile underground distribute network and monitored in a control room. A 60 milliondollar upgrade in 2012 transformed the steam to green. Even in the suburbs it is as cold as 20 below. So friday morning will be the dangerous morning to be outside. After that we will watch two areas of low pressure moving in the region. Cold low to the north, a milder low with some moisture to the south, and we will be seeing precipitation late saturday night starting as snow but warm air will change to rain by sunday as our next storm. Overnight low 14. During the day tomorrow only 19, and it will be very cold as we work our way toward the weekend.
