Reporter once linda started to get regular eight hours a sleep at night she said pound melt add away in that first week my clothes started to loosening up, and the inches started to come off a. My whole quality of life has changed. I feel so much better. Reporter sleep need vary but experts say mess people need between seven and nine hours a night. Im Stephanie Stahl, cbs3 Eyewitness News. Wonderful sleep. Our eyewitness weather watchers are in the sleeping and we are glad for that. And, because theyre in the sleeping we are going to be watching for, what they are saying, and finding this morning out ape about, 26 degrees, this is what ron russell has already discovered out there this morning, out in riverside, new jersey. He said it feels like 26 degrees. Dew. 18 degrees. The sunrise at 7 02 this morning. I love this he is doing all of my work for me. That is terrific. Thank you very much for that ron. We will find 23 degrees temperature out there this morning. This is bill. He has his cbs3 hat. Notice when were standing out in these snowstorms or rain storms or whatever. Were often in those. Our weather watchers are too. Bill says he just got back from walking his dog and it was a nights morning with no wind. It makes it completely different. You know how cold it has been around here. It is finally starting to get milder. The lets head to to the shore, in fact it is so mild we can get to the shore. We are going to ocean city right now and filing ourselves the the only people on the boardwalk at this point obviously with temperatures that are still in the 20s, long the boardwalk but they will start to warm up. It is 22 degrees in Atlantic City. Twentyfive wildwood. Twentythree millville. 27 degrees in philadelphia of course, these temperatures are cold but they feel, so much better then they did, yesterday, because they are running a number of degrees, above where we were yesterday. So it the is 12 degrees warmer in philadelphia this morning then it was yesterday morning, and it is 13 degrees warmer up in allentown. So some of those numbers to the north in the single numbers, yesterday. It is a lot better feeling and it gets better later on this afternoon as temperatures climb above the the freezing mark. Storm scan three, we have some cloud. Youll find cloud at varying levels, mid cloud high clouds, they will be moving around and were hoping a sun break gets in there as well today because it would be nice to brighten things up a little bit. We have moisture to the north. We will be watching a front stall out through the the area and that starts to change our weather especially the second half of the weekend. We are expected to be dry in most location is today had maybe the poconos gets a isolated snow shower, otherwise, today, it should be mild, with temperatures, getting into, 40 42, to 45 degrees. And so a little bit milder then we have seen and right about where we should this be time of the year. And then by tomorrow, low pressure rides along that stalled out front and that brings us some light rain and a mix to the the north and we might even be finding us a brief mix in our area a as well. As this stand right now we will be finding early on monday some rain showers arriving, and then on monday rain, freezing rain, sleet cannot be ruled out even in philadelphia. The the amounts are not high but still it is the the freezing variety, that could trip you up, and then monday, it the might end as a brief snow shower. Amounts will not be impressive at all, throughout our area. This is an inch or less and probably the less may be the really operative word. It gets more the farther north you go. So by the time you get in the poconos we could be finding four to 6 inches of snow and or sleet. But around here all of the computer models say either we will get nothing or we will get practically nothing. 7 of an inch is the the most and that is with the euro. Future weather lets time this out, we will see cloud around here today tomorrow and then by 5 00 oclock tomorrow evening we will start to sees precipitation, moving into the area and then by 2 00 a a. M. This computer model says not much a around but by 8 00 oclock in the morning especially to the the north, could you be finding some of that freezing rain, or sleet, and then snow to the north of that . Again, dont set your plan based on this right new because this will change between now and then, but it just gives an indication of the timing of some of this that one computer model says. By 2 00 oclock in the afternoon snow through the the poconos. We will see a couple of flakes around allentown area, do we find maybe a little sleet or freezing rain through philadelphia, before colder air gets drawn into this, we will wrap up with a brief snow shower, and then this thing exits, and then by tuesday were left with dry conditions. So, it is another one of these things that we have to watch the second half of the weekend as we have done the last self weeks. 43 degrees is our temperature today. You might get a degree or two higher then. That to the the north you might stay a couple of degrees cooler. Mostly cloudy skies. The tonight we will drop down to freezing mark. Mostly cloudy once again and then by monday, especially, we will start to see some of the the wet weather coming in here, and after a day tomorrow, with almost isnt that lovely almost 50 degrees on sunday. But monday we will get wet weather coming in here starting early. Just plan on that for monday, with some rain maybe some sleet, freezing rain with a brief wrap up of snow in philadelphia it the is gone by tuesday. 38 degrees. It is in the bad on wednesday but by friday our high is only 22 degrees, nicole and with the wind chill we could be finding it feeling like below zero, the the cold, comes back. Funky benning works when he ace against really people, if he is against steely dan, you know funky beck works as a foil but ernest beck works in this group. Alternative music is not that old but because it is in the yet classic rock, were seeing what it means to age, and i think morning phase for beck is a record about sort of he is aging gracefully. All right. You can see who takes home the grammy tomorrow night beginning at 8 00 right here on cbs 36789 you can check out other nominees at cbs philly. Com. Lets see what is happening with this 27degree temperature, phil says that he is dealing with a nice warm up this weekend and yes we all are. Our temperatures will be climbing this weekend above the freezing mark and he is doing counting. Fortythree days until spring. Coincidently, 43 will probably be our temperature this afternoon. Were doing pretty well. Lets try one other temperature 24 degrees. Were fining this out through if i can get this thing moving Steve Johnson in west chester finding that 24degree temperature there as cold as that seems it is warmer then it was yesterday. They are waiting around for people to jump on them this will be a weekend i think that you wills enjoy, maybe scattered snow showers through the poconos day and then tomorrow youll be finding some different wintry weather. In fact is there a winter storm watch in effect for the poconos and it runs from sunday evening until late monday night. Also up through the poconos 19 degrees, broad headsville it is a cold start. They have already got snow on the ground and they will keep that with the temperature of 19 degrees. The rest of us are dealing with temperatures that are a little bit warmer than that and continuing to increase, that is the good news. 27 degrees in philadelphia 23 trenton. Twentyfive in wilmington. Twentyfive down in the wildwood area. These temperatures will be coming up above the freezing mark and well about in every location. The clouds are out there right now and we have got a fair amount of them moving down and we have high cloud, mid cloud et cetera, they move at different paces. Maybe we will get a sun break in between and maybe all leave one particular moment and see ray of some sunshine. Otherwise we do see there is a system to the north and front draped across our area. It is not going far and it is north of us. Air is coming up from the southwest. It is when we can get in the 40s this afternoon. Then low pressure ride along. That a a as we go into monies specially into monday we will pick you been light rain, in mix to the north and you cannot totally rule out a mix in the philadelphia area as well. As it stand right the now early on monday rain showers will be arriving and they be as we get through the day cannot totally rule out, freezing rain sleet and a brief shower by the end of this we will time it out with our computer model. For winter storm watch in the poconos it is for snow sleet and freezing rain. Again that runs from sunday evening until late monday night. That is only area at this point that has any kind of watch warning or advisory on it. Amount unimpressive through philadelphia if we see anything in the way of snow. To the north more than that. We will head in the poconos ape that is where we could be find maybe four to 6 inches of snow and sleet. You can see what the computer models say for philadelphia and snowfall forget bit. Two of them say nothing. The other one says under an inch. It does in the look like we will be dealing with the snow but just remember there could be freezing rain and a couple of spots and you will want to watch out for. That future weather heres one to look up from if you have not looked up just yet this morning for any of these weather casts watch this one. This is a computer model that will tell us, it says by 5 00 oclock tomorrow were just dealing with clouds. Were in the watching any precipitation coming in here. By 11 00 oclock tomorrow night do we see to the north a chance of picking up some rain, some mix, but by 3 00 a. M. Monday morning could there be some wet weather. Could this be freezing rain is this we have to continue to monitor this 9 00 oclock in the morning and this is a change. This computer model wants to hold this thing back and hold it up there 9 00 oclock on monday and then by the time we hit 28 00 in the afternoon do sea snow through poconos, rain coming through philadelphia, do we see that change over to snow and sleet and just regular rain toward the tail end of this at the second half of the day on monday. Things will be changing between now and then. We will keep watching it. You keep watching us. We will keep you posted. Fortythree today. How nice that. Well above freezing mark. Tonight at the freezing mark at 32 degrees. Tomorrow we are almost at 50 degrees. The by monday 38 degrees. There could be rain, there could be sleet or freezing rain or snow and maybe second half of the day. So something to watch. Timing not set. By tuesday should be gone, cold 38 degrees. Look at friday a high of only to 22 degrees. Things change a lot around here nicole. Carol, thank you.
