Reporter they are treating this as a homicide but they are not searching for any suspects and they have not ruled out a murder suicide. We believe all four shooting victims including the adult female and the children were shot with the same weapon, which is a handgun, which has been recovered from the scene. Reporter Police Say Nine relatives lived in the house including children who were not shot. An adult called 911 but no one heard the hots and police dont know exactly when the incident occurred. They describe the the scene as being so gruesome there were responding officers were sent to crisis counseling. Our troopers are trained to expect the unexpect but however, you know, a crime scene like this is i am possible to prepare for. Word of the mother of tamayo, after charges were dropped by the District Attorneys Office here in a crime he never committed, a crime that put him behind bars for months. For 19 yearold tamayo mcduffy, the legal nightmare is over. District attorney dropping charges that he inn raided the home of the legally blind woman a few doors from his house in may 2013. He is free. He is free. He beat it. He beat the case, yes. Reporter neighbors held benefits to raise bail money to get mcduffy released, always convinced he was innocent of allegations that he terrified the legally blind woman, turning on gas burners in her home, before being routed by her service dog. I knew all the time that tam ayo was innocent. I knew it. He sat in jail for up to seven months, completely innocent, of any crime. Reporter before mcduffy and his family exxon racial comes at a terrible cost. Eighteen months under a cloud of suspicion, nearly a third of that time behind bars, his mother, financially devastated, by the cost of raising money for his bail, and his legal defense. It was a heroing experience, nightmare and they are happenty leave it behind and move on as a family. Now mcduffys attorney told me that in the only is he knows event but he doesnt believe that there ever was a crime. The legally blind woman has not been a railable for comment and District Attorney in his statement does not say that with charges dropped begins mcduffy if any other suspects are now being sought. I cannot believe that in five months this place is going to close down. All of the acquired Bottom Dollar food were acquired by aldi but they have not said whether they will set up a shop at this location leaving dozens without a job. Chester was considered a food desert because it didnt have a Grocery Store for 12 years until a Nonprofit Group opened up fair and square last year but Bottom Dollar was chesters first retail Grocery Store to open in years. Building a building, having people come and now, six months later they are closed. It is sad. Reporter chester mayor john linder called aldi representatives last week and has not heard back yet. We can talk with them about some of the things that we expect obviously. Reporter if aldi does not convert space soon residents will to have find grocery shops outside the city.
