New this morning, police are investigating an accident overnight, involving a septa trolley and two cars. It happened just before 3 30 this morning, at 54th and lindbergh boulevard in southwest philadelphia. Septa Officials Say two cars collided, and then struck the trolley. Showboat and its neighbor to the north revel will be closing down this weekend, friday, spars crowds. What do you think about the fact it is closing down . Well, it is really a shame, it is a beautiful place. When the two casinos close, theyll take thousands every jobs with them. But beyond just employees, when casinos close down it, hurts the people who live here, too. Back in 2010, the citys tax base was around 20,000,000,000. 000000000. Next year, it is estimated to be about half that at around 10 billion. Because of that, Atlantic City citizens will be paying about 30 more than their profit taxes. And higher tax cans also lead to higher prices. Prices of booze and everything is going up. People like governor Chris Christie trying to stop that from happening, and hes hang his hat on new plans to make ac less about gambling and more about nightlife and shops and restaurants. The Investigation Continues into this two alarm fire down the shore. It happened friday morning in what used to be a deli at park boulevard and west oaklane in wildwood. Firefighters shut off electricity to battle those flames which temporarily left about 1800 customers without power. No one was hurt. Renovated station, heavily damaged in a fire last september. A peak inside there shows some new windows, floors, doors, and airconditioning. Along with a upgraded exhaust system. Some video there of the fire that destroyed it back in september. That work cost about 475,000. Important alert for all women in delaware county. Man arrested in rad for township accused of taking leud pictures up a womans skirt at a grocery store, and police say there may be more victims. Police say brian bailey use hissed cell phone to take the pictures at giant supermarket in radnor township. Once in custody, investigators say, they found additional 72 images of other women on his phone. A robbery and shooting in a crowded northeast philadelphia parking lot caught on camera. The suspect attacked a victims in in his car, got away from 70,000. Police say the 37 year old victim owns several gas stations, and was making a weekly deposit. Police believe the victim wag targeted, just pulled no this parking lot, wasnt able to get out of the car to make his deposit before the suspects locked him in, and went straight for his bag of cash. Surveillance video shows the 37 year old man, driver into one of the front parking spots, a white dodge caravan, pulls up behind him try to get out, and one of the men shoot him in the arm. Attempt to flow but one goes back, then breaks the passenger side window and grabs a bag of money sitting on the passenger seat. Inside, 70,000. What seems like he definitely was targeted. Police are reviewing more Surveillance Video looking for clues in a deadly hitandrun in north philadelphia. Police say woman crossing brought street at belfield avenue when hit guy through carries, she was reportedly crossing against the red light. A white car heading south hit her and kept going, two more cars hit her. Experiencing it and feeling it is a different feeling. One i win forget. Even if you didnt see it you should have felt the impact, hilt your car. There plus been somebody that saw something or knows about this car and would really help us out in the investigation. We are told two of the drivers are cooperating with the investigation. Authorities condemned mayfair home damaged by a tractor trail near accident. Police say the driver of an s. U. V. Ran a red light, and then hit the truck. That truck then slammed into a row home at levick and farnsworth. Both drivers were home. No one inside at the time of the crash. Claimed to be one of the most dangerous intersections in the country and it is here in our area. This is something that will definitely affect my life forever. On august 9th, in upstate new york, stewarts car slammed into kevin ward, jr. , and killed him. Moments before it happened, ward got out of his car, and walk on to the racetrack, trying to confront stewart. He was upset because stewarts car bumped his, and sent him spinning into a wall. The pain in the morning, that kevin wards family, friends, are experiencing, something that i cant possibly imagine. Every day i am thinking about him, praying for them. Investigators had said there is no evidence of criminal intent, but the investigation is still ongoing. Stewart says after weeks of reflection, hes ready to race again. It has given me the time to think about life, how he is easy it is to take it for granted. I think being back will help me. Labor day weekend, one last chance to soak up summer. Falls around the corner as store after store reminds us with their warm cozy clothes. But, a season usually celebrated is now being met with some trepidation. Im kind of dreading fall. I love summertime. Dreading it. I love the summer. Very sad, big steers. I think people get to the place of saying fall, then means winter, and winter means i could go through what i went through last year, and i dont want to experience that again. Making matters worse, farmers almanac predicting another long cold winter. But no need to fear the change every season. Therapist george james offers some tips of the first, plan fun. The summer, you just go out, you have fun. When it gets coal, difficult, plan some fun activities. Like a trip to the zoo or park or even favorite restaurant. Just planning the activity can lift spirits. Next, know yourself and your kids, and notice if anyones routine is off. Are you working out . What are you eating . Lou hanging out with .
