New this morning, Philadelphia Police are trying to figure out what led to Fatal Shooting in north philadelphia. This happened just before 2 00 t street. Officers arrived to find 22 year old man with a single gunshot wound in his back. He died shortly after being rushed to the hospital. Witnesses tell police that a fight broke out at nearby bar, moments before the shooting. There was an altercation of physical altercation that started inside and it went outside. This happened just prior to the shooting. At this time were not sure if this physical altercation is related to the shooting. Airlines have been over booking flight almost since the writes brothers, some to 30 over their capacity to accommodate for a lot of no shows or full fare paying pipas inning ers. Peter what do you recommend that travelers do to avoid being bumped from a flight in the first place . Number within, you need valid boarding pass, get that as soon as you can, get to the airport and check in. If you dont check in your boarding pass doesnt matter. And you need to check in at least 30 minutes ahead of flight. Most airlines these days will literally close out that flight between ten to 15 minute before the flight scheduled departure, if you get there then, you have no status. The other question is, how fast do you get on that plane . Once you are iting in your seat, other rights kick in. Remember, if they have to ask for volunteers to get off the plane and give up their seats, the key word there is volunteer, and thats when youre already in your seat. Nobody says you have to stand up. Peter, if you are bumped off a flight, what options do you have then . Well, first of all the airline will offer you voucher cash value. And theyll start it off at relatively low amount like 200 f nobody stands up and volunteers that money goes up. It can go as high as 1350 or even hire. At a certain point everybody has their price. If you get one of those vouchers, if you actually agree to give up your seat, make sure it doesnt have endorsements only good on that airline, and two, make sure the air decline get you where you need to go within four hours of your scheduled arrival time on another flight.
