Exactly. Just got to keep an eye to that sky. But yes, keeping an eye to the sky today. See the sunshine, some puff, cumulus clouds, brought the sunshine back after the dreary start to the work weekt the yesterday. And sunshine in the scene, as we get live look at the Neighborhood Network camera, kids about to go back to school, temperatures right now 86 degrees, and look at the grass, nice and green, with all of the rain weve had in the reading area over the last month and a half. But temperatures are much toast year than where we were at this time yesterday on the order of 10 degrees warmer, 88 in philly, at 82 degrees in atlantic particular city, 84 allentown, 86 in wilmington. We do have difference in the humidity across the area. Bit of gradient north of the city. Not too humid. Dew point right around the 60 degrees mark. Looking beautiful on saturday light, and even more beautiful that it is moving on away. Yes, we dont want to deal with direct impact of gert because it is strong hurricane category two, winds at 100 Miles Per Hour, movement off to the northeast 31 Miles Per Hour, so the Forward Momentum picking up as it gets into the higher latitude. Ger. It will keep on moving away up into the northern atlantic, where it will become extra tropical. As we head into the next couple of days, but now it is our strongest hurricane, of the 2017 season so far. But, overnight tonight, quiet in the Delaware Valley. Few passing clouds, low temperature at 71 degrees. Could see patchy fog. For our thursday mostly sunny chance of late day thunderstorm, High Temperature eight a degrees, so not quite as toasty tomorrow. Future weather showing us could have that chan every sea breeze generated shower closer to the coast over the next couple of hours, as we head toward sunset, that chance will diminish, overnight tonight, mostly clear skies, as we wake up tomorrow morning , no problems for your thursday morning commute. Looking good on the lunch hour , then your chance of spotty thunderstorm, again, mainly late in the day, see the best chance of storm rolling on through, as we head into thursday night, early friday morning. We could see couple of downpours, for the first half of the day on friday. Then we are going to start to see more activity flaring up during the afternoon and evening hours. Something well have to keep an eye on, because few of these cells could be on the stronger side, late day friday , and into friday night. So that will be our steamy, and stormy day. Dew points will be well into the 70s. So it is just going to feel gross. 88 degrees, saturday at 90 degrees, once again, mostly sunny with just chance of hit or miss storm. And then sunday looks like a beauty, sunshine, lower humidity, eight a degrees, and guess what . We have not changed mondays forecast for the eclipse, still mostly sunny, so we should get good view in the Delaware Valley as long as you got the shades. Got to have it. The wex cents between the bills and eagles are almost endless, the defensive coordinator before coming to philly, linebacker nigel played for swartz in buffalo, before signing with the birds last season. Cory gram was a bill for the last three seasons, and he signed with the eagles, two weeks ago. Fellow defensive i have back ron brooks also played for swartz in buffalo. Ronald darby comes to the phils but never played for short. Same with another defensive back, watkins, who was briefly on buffalos practice squad. Oh, and his brother, sammy, was just traded away by the bills last week. And it doesnt stop there. Jason peters was originally a bill before being traded to the eagles eight years ago, going back even further, john, started his career in, you guess dollars it, buffalo. Oh, ya, just for good measure, offensive coordinator played for the bills in a game called the come back, ya, that was him. Then, if you look at the phils , their head coach is, Montgomery County native former eagles defensive coordinator sean motorcycle dermick. Of course Jordan Matthews is now on the bills roster after last weeks trade, then shady motorcycle mccoy and colt anderson. Yep, there is philly connection, as well, upper darby native billy brown now a bill. As is former temple star dion dawkins, drafted in the second. Al streeter also on the roster , so is woodbury own and penn stater gerald hodges. And finally, souderton native jake mets who played on the arena bowl champion soul last year, and then spent part of Training Camp last august with the birds. So, our executive producer paul calls me yesterday, hes like dude, youre not going to believe how many connections there. You never see this at the pro level. Isnt that something . It is like a dozen connections between two teams. Thats a lot. Is that good or bad . Dont say there will be a quiz in the morning. Because ill fail. There are a lot of names connected. Will do. And i think were all over yesterday yesterdays type of weather. Weve had enough rain. Enjoy the sunshine right now. We are looking at a sunny scene there. We get a live look on skycam 3 at ocean city. People out on the beach, people taking a little bit of a dip, a Beautiful Day down the shore today. Temperatures warmer than what would had yesterday. Gorgeous shot there. 82 degrees in atlantic city. 84 degrees in wildwood. Toasty in the city at 88 degrees, 84 in the lehigh valley. Got middle 70s in the poconos, but taking a peak at the shore points, 79 degrees with the sea breeze in ocean city, 84 degrees in stone harbor, 84 deg. Dew points we have little bit after gradient across the area , so feeling slightly more comfortable to the north of the city. Not too, too steamy in philadelphia, with dew point at 62. Could be much worse, could be at 72. And that would feel much more oppressive. But dew point are in the 70s, at some of the shore points, and southern locations, so were seeing more of steam factor, there as we head into the next couple of days, we will keep the more humid conditions, tomorrow not feeling too, too bad, by august standards, by friday, feeling un selfsufficient err recall, dew points mid 70s for everyone, will feel like soup outside. As we head into saturday, we take step back, then sunday it will feel much more comfortable. Storm scan3, showing us, the trends throughout the day today. And thats really not much of anything. Sunshine, with fair weather cumulus clouds, couple of sea breeze generated showers that have popped up. We have one little cell, very light in intensity, small in size, kind of cruises through the delaware beaches, lewes, just clipped rehoboth beach, now affecting right there. That will continue to move its way off shore. I have another little cell in Cape May County but check this out. Looking off to the east, at about 500 miles, that is hurricane gert. See it well defined eye on the visible satellite imagery. And it is continuing to move off to the north and east, and that is what we want. Because ger. It is now our strongest hurricane of the 2017 season. Winds at 100 Miles Per Hour. It is moving off to the northeast at 31 Miles Per Hour , so picking up the forward pace, as it moves into the northern latitudes, keep on trucking up into the north atlantic, eventually weekends and become extra tropical and not bother anyone along the. S coastline. But still dealing with these indirect imette st. Guillen packs with rough surf and also the high risk of rip currents, particularly, as we head into the evening hours. Then through part of the day tomorrow, so be very aware of that. Otherwise tomorrow down the shore looking pretty good. Sunshine, upper 70s, to some low to mid 80s, water temperature up around 66, 76, to 77 degrees, and overnight tonight, just few passing clouds, quiet, down to 71 degrees, with light northerly winds, and for our thursday, another rounds of sunshine in store. Late day thunderstorm is possible. Better chance of the storms as we head into tomorrow night. High temperature tomorrow at eight a degrees. We are are watching system that will arrive as we head towards the end of the week. Pretty potent cold front. We will be watching this system, could generate some stronger showers, thunderstorms, as we head into friday. Friday evening, friday night. Heavy rain looking likely, thunderstorm activity, scat nerds nature, few of the storms could be on the strong, even potentially severe side. But as we head into the evening hours, just seeing the chance of isolated sea breeze shower, then quiet overnight tonight, we led into our thursday, not too much going on, there is your better chance of spotty thunderstorm tomorrow evening, tomorrow night, and then as we head into friday, we will start to see the activity picking up as we head into the evening hours so keep yourself weather aware as we head into late day friday, thats our steamy day, High Temperature at 88. But quieting things for the upcoming weaken, stem steamy saturday, much more comfortable sunday, still sunny, for eclipse day monday. All right, lauren, thank you.
