Great cause. It is really beautiful. I wish we had Better Weather for walkers out there but we will start to improve. Yesterday was the the worst day, little bit better today and little better tomorrow but we have been dealing with that rain, clouds in place all throughout the the week and you can see on storm scan three the showers continue right now. The getting a little break in and around the the philadelphia area but looking towards mount pocono, allentown, reading, lancaster seeing the rain continuing to fall at this hour getting a little bit of the break from the rainfall along the new jersey coastline. There is joaquin still well far away. We are seeing indirect impact of the system by way of the tropical moisture being fed in along the u. S. Coastline. We will see that moisture lingering throughout the daytoday and then really starting to dry out as we head late day tomorrow into monday as well. Doppler estimates the past 24 hours check out these rainfall totals especially heavy at cross portions of delaware where we see one, two, two and a half to three ines of rainfall in the last 24 hours, and since yesterday, check out the some of these numbers. 2. 18, in swarthmore, chesterfield picking up 2 inches of rainfall and we set a few record as well in philadelphia, over an inch and a half of rainfall just from yesterday, trenton picking up, also close to a inch and a half setting a daily rainfall record. We have coast aal flooding concern and that is because that northeasterly flow, in the because of the the rainfall but because of those strong wind off shore pushing the water, up on to happened, so we have that concern, as we continue to go through the weekend as the wind are not going to let up, for todays blustery conditions, again for those walkers. Showers mainly in the morning and then dryer weather as we head in the second half of the day but chilly for sure. High temperatures in the upper 50s. We should be in the lower 70s. The on sunday temperatures in the middle 60s for tomorrow so some improvement but those wind will still be kicking but a passing sprinkle in the morning but otherwise dry conditions for the second day of the weekend but for today, chance of a few scattered showers. Heading out and about bring that rain, slicker and not umbrella because of the elevated wind speed northeasterly, 15 to 25 miles an hour with higher gusts up around 35, and that high, really struggled today. Overnight tonight falling down to 53 degrees, wednesday, elevated 15 to 20 miles an hour with the chance of just a passing shower and then we do have big time improvement as we head in the seven day forecast, dry conditions on monday, and clouds, and then i think we will see sunshine breaking out into the the afternoon, high temperatures up around 70 degrees. Finally on tuesday high temperatures return closer to average 72 degrees, less wind, mostly sunny conditions and then check out that stretch as we head into wednesday, thursday, mostly sunny conditions, high temperatures, in the low to mid 70s. So, nicole, were getting a big break and a big treat have after all of this damp, dreary weather as we head into tuesday, wednesday and thursday next week but we have to get through the weekend. S. Land fall. Will not make u. S. Impact, say for the the fact that we will see some strong rip currents in the next several days, and also, dealing with wind speeds that are elevated, this is not just from the wind field of joaquin himself but because of this system and High Pressure off to the north, that Pressure Gradient will keep those win speed elevated throughout the weekend especially along the coastline and that is causing issues with some coastal flooding, that is going to be the concern for the neck several days that strong northeasterly flow, pushes that water up on to land, so particularly along the new jersey shore and delaware beaches, we will have have to watch that as we head into the rest of the day to day, tonight and through the the day tomorrow. But, as far as our weather is concern, it will be dreer toy day, keeping showers around this morning, windy, and we do have some improvement as we head into the the rest of the weekend and big improvement next week talking about some sunshine, finally and ill have details on that in your full forecast in a couple of minutes. As a boy, that might have been the green mile for adrian, two weeks ago, and a man, the same aisle, was a dream come true. We have people telling us were young, that is already, we accept that, but at the same time we necessity it is god ordain and for god to bring our sins together, we know they have been watched over by the lord. Reporter this might not have been sealed on his face back then but then again, maybe it was. That is really cute. That was Christine Hampton reporting by the way. Adrian said they started to get attention after his mom posted a photo of the to of them as flower girl and ring bearer on facebook but how sweet is that, the 17 years later they are walking down the aisle again for their own wedding. So cute. So romantic. I love it. Really warms you up on a day like today where it is chilly and you need to be warmed up to day. A little romance will do that girl, yes. Showers are getting a a little bit of the break. We are getting a little bit of the break across the state of the new jersey but in pennsylvania, from allentown mount pocono, harrisburg seeing rain falling, maryland rate to we have any intensity. In and around philadelphia area catching a little will bit of the break. A few spotty showers around right now on storm scan three. But rain really is the trend up and down the eastern seaboard. That is a product of Hurricane Joaquin. And still well off to the south with that tropical moisture, and that influx moving from south to north, and you can see that rain shield extending down to the virginias, carolinas, as well where flooding is a concern because of the rainfall. More so here in the Delaware Valley and especially along the coastline, we are seeing that concern for flooding but because of that strong northeasterly flow, and rhawn fall totals, they have been hearty over the last 24 hours, particularly down in delaware where we saw rainfall totals upwards of 2 inches, just in the last day. Also in new jersey, with Maguire Air Force base picking up two and a half inches in the last 24 hours. The chesterfield picking up an inch and threequarters. Richboro a inch and a half. We have daily rainfall records being set yesterday over a inch and a half in philadelphia and close to that in trenton, also we have a rain, we have the wind, on top of that, and wind gusts, especially down the shore, Seaside Heights, 56 miles per hour, ocean city, 47 miles an hour and the rims are really the concern here in that coastallal flooding, strong northeasterly flow, takes that ocean the water and then just pushes it up on to land and we have those coastal Flood Warnings in effect today and tomorrow as well. So were at low tide right now a as we head into the afternoon hours. We are going to go see high tides, that is, of course, in combination with the strong northeasterly wind really worsens that flooding potential, high tides times, in Atlantic City around 12 30. Same case as we head down the the coastline closer to 1 00 toward cape may. That is main time of concern. We will see worst impacts from the coastal flooding. That is the bad news.
