Good day to be indoors today, perfect nap day, i was thinking that this morning, kind of day, snug he will up and take a nap. We have to be out and about living our lives out on the roads and it has been a messy day. Lets look at how today is looking as we look at one of our local road, Spring Garden street in the center of philadelphia right where cbs Broadcast Center is located looking east, toward those ominous dark cloud overhead. It is relatively dry outside, but it will continue, to rain, through the overnight hours, at least, in the form of the showers. Heavier rain will be through next to second hours and then we will see it taper off throughout the overnight hours. As far as right now is concerned rain is moving in and coming down, just off to the west. Lets check with our weather watchers. We will start with some folks off to the west and see what they are reporting. We will head up to 72 at jerrys house in blue bell, definitely getting rain right there. What does jerry has to say, barometer keeps on dropping, that is right our storm is approaching. Front will move through overnight and then we will much nicer conditions by tomorrow afternoon. Raining, in jims house in media he is at 76 degrees. You can see how much cooler it is, mainly to the clouds and of course showers that have been moving through, rain keeping it generally cool but not dry, it is very steamy and very soupy outside. 78 degrees at david dutchs house. Relative humidity there 93 percent in clementon, new jersey. Dew point is 75 degrees. That is what were talking about. It is warm and very, very steamy. Steam bath all across the region. We have one more weather watcher barbara lane, just reporting cloud at the moment and 72 degrees but relative humidity 92 percent. Dew point in the upper 60s to around 70. Another look at storm scan three we are seeing heavier rain poise todd move into philadelphia good news is it looks at one point that a line of thunderstorms would try to develop over Lancaster County but we had so much cool air and cloud cover in place that these storms had just fizzled out to a batch of heavy rain. We are not talking about severe weather, as we go through this evening but we are talking about localized downpours and risk for ponding on the road are. We have had pond ing this afternoon, but tonight we add more rain to that so any spot that has been dealing with flood to go day we will have another round of rain just add to go those problems, here this evening but again that you can see these thunderstorms that pop up here over Lancaster County that red shading, that has fizzled. We have steady toy moderate rain over Chester County, up in to montgomery county, skippack at the moment, norristown and right on down toward the the schuylkill expressway and of course mid county interchange there which gets very busy on a dry night certainly slow downs this evening. So Flash Flood Watch until 8 00 p. M. For vast majority of the region. Doppler estimates in the past 24 hours notice most of us have seen a inch of rain, green shading. Looking at near dover where we have orange shading 3 inches and three bulls eye of yellow showing 2 inches has fallen and rain continues to fall this evening. So through tonight we will have poor drainage flooding, basically fur street is loan to flooding you will see it out there tonight watching small are creeks and streams especially but river flooding is not expected with this system. Future weather gets rain out of here quickly, tomorrow a dry day but on saturday we will see upper low developing and you can see showers will creep in late saturday and that may continue into sunday. Overnight tonight heavy rain early, cloudy, humid, 78 degrees for your friday, Morning Cloud and then turning less humid we are at 82 degrees and after the cloud break, things look nice, sun comes out around lunchtime and should stick around through the evening as well. Eyewitness weather seven day forecast and shore cast does keep cloud through the weekend, chance for showers late saturday into early sunday but there is good news spending half of the seven day looks amazing.
