From a friend of that engineer, who says that it is just impossible that foul play is involved here. He is convinced that this engineer is not to blame. That he is a very cautious person. More from him in just a few minute, but first we want to go over the development on scene here. The train cars are now all gone. And the ntsb has turned over this area, to amtrak, and investigators piece by piece are putting a Bigger Picture together here, to figure out exactly what happened and why. This crash has now claimed eight lives the last victim pulled from the rubble yesterday. And now Officials Say all 243 people who were on board at the time of the crash have been accounted for. Dozen, though, still remain at the hospital. Here at the crash site, the National Transportation self at this board now says the train was accelerating in the final minute before derailment. Investigators say the train sped up, from 70 Miles Per Hour, until it reached more than 100 Miles Per Hour, at that sharp curve. The max speed of course is 50. Investigators say, it is unclear, though, if the speed was increased manually by the engineer, at this point theyve not found any problems with the track signals or thomotive. Meantime again we are learning more about that engineer, Brandon Bostian his Attorney Says he has no recommendation of the crash, he had not been using his cell phone drinking or using drugs. A friend again who has spoken with him since the crash also has come to his defense. Take a listen. He couldnt talk to me much because he was in the e. R. And he really didnt remember or noah whole lot at that time. I dont think there is any foul play or any thing like. That he was never one to do drugs. There has got to be Something Else going on that nobody knows about yet. And ntsb officials now tell us that bostian has agreed aint view and they hope to speak with him in the next few days. I just get immediately drawn out west here, california, this has been making headlines now for weeks. Couple of years of drought across the goal end stateally seeing some pretty significant rain building in, in that area, which ill show now second. Even here at home, now were starting to creep into abnormally dry conditions. This isnt enough that we will have to really start worrying about the doubt. Really just on the lowest end of the totem pole at this point. Bottom line, we just need some rain to wash this away. Wash away the pollen and sort of clear out the atmosphere little bit. Looking at the big picture here we are starting to see new area of low pressure building into california, thats going to bring very beneficial rain to that area, and eventually becomes story for us. Now, separate system actually already starting to sense even tonight over night specifically, starting to see couple of showers erupt across the area, but the rest of today looks beautiful overall. Seventyfive with sunshine, we look ahead to the weekends, though, now even though neither day is a wash out, it is steamy. This warmfront lift in keeps temperatures in the mid 80s, we can expect to to see showers, perhaps thunderstorm out there, either day then the larger system moves in it is almost like it blends right in with the next one knocks temperatures back little bit. But we are once again going to be dodging showers thunder store, i wouldnt call any of those four days in the middle a wash out but i do think at this point it is something obviously worth mentioning, but also enough that it will probably help to wash away some of the pom end so couldnt we all use that at this point. I just heard about 8 million thank yous out there. Not your fault. Hey young laidy . Yes, at least you can, you know, you can be responsible for re leaving everyone out there. Good stuff. Yes. How much, the improvement has been the ac rail line no longer shuttle bus inbetween pennsauken and 30th street now put back no place, good to go there. Also for the new jersey river line as well as new Jersey Transit bus service, however, we are still dealing with the suspension of the trenton line. So still going to need to do some extra planning, however we seeing improvement. Ninetyfive and the rest of the majors moving well, and no delays at the airport. Erika . Thanks so much.
