Neighbors tell cbs3 Eyewitness News the Business Owner is a kind man has a lot of support around the the neighborhood. I dont understand how people could just strip other peoples property. He was last seen moving southbound down frankford avenue in a black gmc truck. As for the Business Owner he has been hospitalized but there is in word on his conditions. A man is injured after a gas explosion in ocean county, new jersey. That explosion and fire destroyed a house on 300 block of cooks lane in Point Pleasant beach. A 47 yearold man was rush to the hospital with severe burns. The victim told authorities that he woke up to the smell of gas. He went to the bathroom to turn on the light and that is when the the house went up in flames. This is the second blast in a week in ocean county. But with an average Graduation Rate of 59 percent at four year schools administrators are starting to rethink the whole selection process. As three on your side consumer reporter jim donovan find many schools now want to learn more about applicants before they ask them to attend. Reporter High School Junior gabe doyle isnt stressing over standardized test scores as he looks at colleges. If you north great at testing then you are not good at testing it doesnt define how smart you are. Reporter it helps that he knows several of the schools he likes to attend are playing down the importance of the ac t and sat. Over the past decade about 110 more batch already degree granting institutions have dropped their test score requirements. That includes some of the most competitive schools in the country. Reporter these days schools are adding other systems, including special questionnaires, to help them figure out who has what it takes to finish a four year degree. Goal of the new assessments is to measure things like perseverance captainability and situational judgment. The answers help give the school a better feel for the kind of person applying. Some say this sort of evaluation helps level the Playing Field from any students who may not be able to a afford a tutoring and coaching to improve test scores. Several schools are experimenting with questionnaires that ask about an individuals interest in certain behaviors and are able to build a profile of the student that is quite predictive of how well they will do in college and life. He said he was suffering a seizure midair trying to make a left turn. The his instructor shell den mcfarland tried but failed to grab him as jones continues to plumet out of control and unconscious. He started dearching and his knees coming down, and fetal position, he was not aware he was having a seizure. Reporter mcfarland who has had 10,000 jumps tries again and this time reaches him pulling his rip card and releasing his parachute with little time to spare. He grabbed me and thankfully pulls my shoot. He has a tail to tell. Jones regain consciousness at the 3000 feet before gliding to safety unharmed. He had this message for the man who saved him.
