Reporter jessica, we watched Police Conduct their investigation primarily in two locations, just beyond this fence here, right in that courtyard area, and then nine stories up at that whipped owe where she fell, investigators are trying to figure out what did cause that little girl to fall. Police say they were heart broken by what they saw when they first arrived on the scene. We arrived on location, father is holding his eight yearold child, child unresponsive at the time. Reporter investigators say eight yearold little girl fell nine stories from her fathers fairfax apartment window, only possible witness her big sister, just 11 years old. She runs, starts screaming through the building. Reporter for now police say they are conducting their investigation as an accident. We believe the kids had woken up before the father, we believe the eight yearold was looking out the window and looking at something and tragically falls from the window. Reporter sources close to the victim said her father is a single father of two who lived here with both of his girls. Like many other residents at the fairfax, sources say he was a penn graduate student. His student neighbors are in disbelief. They must be completely sick, really sad, im so sorry for their loss. Investigators are trying to figure out what exactly cause that had little girl to fall. Almost a tragic as the the death of a little girl who fell nine stories to her death as the fact that her big sister just 11 years old may be the only witness.
