Reporter good morning, rahel, jan, right now police do not yet have a motive for this very strange shooting in which they say both the shooter as well as the victim were driving in opposite directions on the same street. But take a lock at this video of the scene overnight. This happened just after 11 00 d several 911 calls about a man shot near the intersection of somerdale avenue and cheltenham avenue. Officers arrived to find 24 year old man lying down next to the open door after volvo, with multiple gunshot wounds to his left side and his left arm. Now, there was another person attempt to go render first aid medics rushed the victim to Einstein Medical Center in very critical condition. Now, chief inspect store scott small says witness accounts, anibal is i can evidence says the shooter and victim were in the driver seat of their cars head in the opposite directions on somerdale. He says the victim was stopped at a light, gunman, pulled up, opened fire. The driver door window is shot out, as well as the passenger door window, also shot out. We found a projectile in the driver seat of the victims vehicle. So it appears that he was sitting in the driver seat when he was shot. And police say there were several witnesses who describe the shooter as driving a white car, possibly a 2010 buick, they say he was headed north on somerdale avenue.
