You know what my idea is, well, not an exaggeration hail the size of softballs still ahead on Eyewitness News. If it was glass, it could not withstand power of the hail storm. We will show you next. Lauren. All right, looking forward to that, and everyone is looking forward to the weekend , always, even though it is a monday, we will be brightening up through the upcoming weekend, we will have some rain on friday and it looks like we will see clearing conditions as we head into saturday maybe some nice sunshine as we head into sunday and more seasonal High Temperatures, in the 50s and 60s so we will smooth out the roller coaster temperature wide that we have been on as we head into this upcoming weekend we will talk more about what to expect for upcoming workweek in your full forecast after well well, that noise is hail, hammering cars in highland village, texas as suburb north of dallas. The hail was part of the storm system that triggered Severe Weather in the area, and some residents reported hail the size of softballs in dent county with heavy rain and funnel cloud there was also storm damage in oklahoma, arkansas and louisiana. This system that is moving our way now or is this different, lauren. This is part of the same system. We will not see same upper level dynamics so we are not worried about that weather but we could see stronger storms as we head into late day tomorrow. Keep an eye to the sky, just in case, our best rain chance is tomorrow but we already had rain moving on through this morning and now we are dealing with low hanging cloud, obscuring our view, of Center City Philadelphia temperatures still chilly, 49 degrees right now but we will see significant up tic in the temperatures really in the next couple of hours, of the warm front working its way through delaware valley. Storm scan three showing us, need that had rain slicker but that band of shower activity is moving off shore a few lingering showers along the coastline. This is that system, the main energy still back in portions of mid south that will continue to lift its way east bound and that will be impacting us as we head in the day tomorrow and give us our best rain chance that we have seen over the last several days, before this evening we could see a spotty shower around but we will see some areas of clearing, mild, temperature at 62 degrees. Overnight tonight, that fog will settle back in, areas of fog, drizzle maybe a passing shower but low temperature only falling back to 52 degrees, andwarming, once againe temperature turbulence we have been on over the last couple of days, we had 70 on and 40s yesterday but now we are on the upside with positive numbers in our 24 hour temperature change. You started just a few hours ago in dover in the 40s. Now up in the 6 nbers, continue to bump up, 54 degrees in wilmington. Fiftyseven in millville. So temperatures will be rising and our reporting sites from south to north over next couple of hours. This warmer air mass off to the south and west starts to overtake our area, and we will enjoy that again tomorrow. Stays in place with High Temperature rising up to near 70 degrees tomorrow in philadelphia and zero seven in wilmington but will chance. Morning areas of fog, drizzle and then we could see period of sunshine through midday early afternoon but watch out for that, more sunshine we will potentially see further it will destabilize our atmosphere so we have afternoon showers that are going to break out scattered in nature and then some evening thunderstorms and stronr side, where were not in the marginal risk but gist to our south as issued by Storm Prediction Center so i few of these storms could get frisky as we head in the evening hours tomorrow. So, pretty quiet for rest of the day to day, spotty showers , and drizzle overnight , and, could see spotty showers tomorrow morning but main action comes during the afternoon hours, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, developing, we will see red there reflectivity, we could see heavy rainfall and gusty wind but then as we head into wednesday morning, full sunshine returning once again that will be nice but we could pick up totals as we head into late day tomorrow with heavy showers and thunderstorms, so that is in the forecast for our tuesday and then nicer conditions, as we head into wednesday, cooler but 61, sunshine, looks nice, for a spring day, and as we head into thursday thesu0hine and ta little bit more consistent and stable, as we head in the long range. Thanks, lauren. We want to remind you join us for special day tomorrow right here on cbs3 were Holding Ronald Mcdonald House charities phone bank from 6 00.
