Good afternoon, new developments here at southwest detectives, still no sign of the van, or as you say the suspect, but just minutes ago, this was the scene, take a look. This is the four month old baby, who was inside that van, that was stolen this morning, along with his father, and we believe his mother, we are obscuring the identity of the woman who was with the baby at the familys request. They just arrived here at southwest detectives, minutes ago, to work with police on the investigation. Now, this all happened at a store around 48th and walnut around ten minutes of 8 00 this morning, police say the father parked the van outside with the four month old inside. A suspect, a loan suspect, then drove off in the van, within about 20 to 30 minute a report from germantown, number of miles away, up on penn street, that the baby had been found outside in the rain but otherwise safe. Now, the baby was taken to st. Christophers hospital to be checked out, reunited with the family, and again, moments ago, the family arrived here at southwest detective division. There is video apparently of part of the incident from the store. Detective are now trying to retrieve that video. And potentially that could be released to us to show to you in an effort to catch the suspect, but again, the family here, right now southwest detectives, the four month old baby just fine after a really harrowing experience, and the family along with police trying to piece together just what did happen this morning, who was responsible for stealing the van with the baby inside.
