My gosh, almost a shock to the system to go outside. Just normal, nothing atypical whatsoever, thats ill arius, now back to reality, feels like it is freezing cold outside. But it will be cold enough for us to actually ends up perhaps with little wintery weather for change. Weve been talking about this already, mainly looks like far north most counties, philadelphia not included, in any threat for ice, or snow, but we definitely get in on the wet weather. So walking you through a lot of different factors with the storm system. There is a lot to cover. Thats where we start things off, looking at the radar, already finds that couple of pretty colors to track here. Little icing already starting to move over portions every central pa, western pa, by the time this reaches us, it is simply too warm right now, even in some of your most remote suburbs for anything but rain. For now. That going to change once the sun goes down, temperatures have chance to drop off little bit more, looking one more time at this store system, it is a monster. We have had numerous obviously Severe Weather reports out of this, already, numerous tornados warnings, even since this morning, through louisianna, mississippi, florida tornado warning. So that aside, also in ice and snow producers, this storm just looking at it different way, it really is a monsterous systemment look at all of the different alerts, put things into motion here, we can see all different alerts in effect here, dont have winter advisories until tonight that, not in effect yet. But flooding torque made owes, winter storm warnings, and advisories, i mean, you have got it all. This really is a storm that runs the gamut. Here is a look at the temperatures, again, primarily talking berks, lehigh, northampton, monroe, those are the counties in our area most susceptible to seeing any wintery weather. But youre at 41 degrees right now, so even if you had some precipitation in allentown, reading, not going to be ice yet. Could be awfully close, mount pocono, but you need to wait a little bit of time before the precipitation arrives. Thats how it shakes out timing wise, not until tonight, very warm by the way in advance that far frontal boundery. Thats where you get the clash from. Little rock, to birmingham, 20 solid degrees difference absolutely, youre going to run into Severe Weather potential. Thats why it is errupting right now. Lets go through future weather. It really look like it will be later into tonight, that the brunt of any wintery wet letter start to unfold here. And notice, it is not in philly. It is only further north. There will be a lot more moisture that builds in, but very solid de mark case here between where you see any casino of icing, it is generally sleet or snow situation, very light snow, slushy snow in the poconos, and then eventually the warmer air takes over. And that pink line will get drawn further and further north. But the morning commute looks nasty. This rain is heavy. So were talking potential here guys for upward of maybe inch or two worth of accumulating rain. Precipitation type, here is another way to look at it, snow and ice turns over to rain for the pink shaded area, strictly rain for everybody else. How much are we talking . Lets just put it into motion. Through the entire event earlier model runs peg this at picking up over 2 inches, so well see how we do, but generally half inch to inch plus, locally to up 2 inches, wouldnt be out of the question here as indicated on future rain amounts. Just gray sky for now. Out in kutztown, outside cut town area middle school, really have a lot of clouds sort of giving you a sign every things to come here. Lets look forward, shall we . We look at tomorrow. This is a warmfront thats lifting in. Thats why the temperatures actually flirt with 60.
