Absolutely reaffirms your faith in humanity. It does. When you hear stories like that. Man this forecast, katie. laughter . You saw me i out on the sky deck even i dont need a coat. What is happening . I know. It reaffirms my thought that Mother Nature is gone crazy. I know. What is happening . This entire month weve been talking about it since december began. Not one day has even been average. I know. Let alone below average certainly when weve been talking about past couple of years with the polar vortex just shooting all that polar couldnt made yann and arctic air our w way, weve barely had any polar air masses dropping in. Not even here but let alone across the rest of the united states. Theres definitely been cold air come our way but it hasnt been enough to send us into any kind of cooler than average territo territory. Youll see a lot of red sort of orange red blocks on this from the past couple of weeks. On this calendar that weve got here and yesterday we were 32 degrees above average. Absolutely unreal. So the wint cold is absolutely on hold right now. 20 to 30 degrees above average where we have generally been in the last couple of days. And record breaking territory as a result of that. We hit a record wednesday we had one yesterday. We expect one today and were also expecting one on sunday. Every day as we just showed you in december this year has been above average. Sending to us 12. 7 degrees above the norm and it does mean that this will very likely become the warmest december that we have ever had since records began much thats big deal. Storm scan3 is definitely showing some science of life off to our southwest all of this moisture starting to lift in and by the time we hit this evening maybe Late Afternoon we could even start to see a couple of showers unfortunately though for the folk in the deep south we once again have very strong thunderstorms. Our pattern not so much severe issue but we do have a series of fronts. Theres one today. Another starts to lift in by tomorrow. And we will continue to track these fronts one after another thats why were kind of all over the place with temperatur temperatures. Another record breaking day come sunday. Were back into the 40s on monday. Even still though a lot cooler but still not average. Well still remain above the norm. We do have a new record in atlantic city. Since last check were now up to 71. Their record was 70 and now weve got new one there. Were at 67 currently at the airport. But we expect to hit 69 here Merry Christmas to you, folks. Nothing terribly cool do you this at all. But it certainly is a warm day. As long as we hit 68 were doing to at least tie the record. Lets jump to all important eagles forecast. Taking on washington tomorrow.
