Reporter police say the 18yearold driver of a Hyundai Sonata was rushes to the hospital to see his father when he ran a red light on roosevelt boulevard causing a crash that left his 19yearold brother and his 16yearold friend dead. Maggie died at the scene. The drivers brother later died at the hospital. The force of the impact with an suv sent the car with the teenagers crashing into this light pole. Very difficult to handle and process. Reporter friends and loved ones returned to the scene of the deadly accident describing two teens who were full of life, lives cut far too short. He was a really good friend. Really close. He was always there for everybody. It breaks my heart. Hes gone now. She always made the family laugh. She had that bright, beautiful orange hair and a gorgeous smile. And any time she walked in the room, she always lit it up. Reporter two families are now left grieving in what investigators began as a son trying to get to the hospital to see his father who had been robbed and beaten at gunpoint trying to deliver food just 45 minutes before the deadly crash. Such a tragic series of events leading up to this deadly crash. Meantime the 18yearold drivers identity has not not been released. He did suffer some minor injuries as did the 55yearold female driver of the suv. Investigation is continuing into the crash as well as the robbery. Were live in olney tonight.
