Two air india pilots allegedly fighting over pre flight paper work. The newspaper reports the scuffle glade the flight for 10 minutes but the night did get off the ground. The Airline Reportedly denied the cockpit brawl saying it was quote a minor argument. Our skies are not so friend toll night. Weve seen a dramatic drop in the temperatures. Quiet out there. Compared to what it was earlier today. Earlier today we had a few breaks of sun got up near 70 degrees and now the bottom has come falling out and temperatures are in the 40s. Talk more about that back door cold front and what it means in just a second. First i want to show you the active radar as we have our quadruple sweep going here on storm scan3 and picking up a lot of green. Theres no rhyme or reason it to you can see steady showers just south and east of the city right now. Crossing over if youre traveling on 76 or 295, new jersey turnpike, right into portions of camden and gloucester counties. Do you have steady rain around Washington Township at the moment and over toward chester just some locally heavy showers and thats how its going to be for the next couple of days. Showers will be hit or miss coming and going but some of them could produce steadier rain and it could slow you down on the roads with ponding out there and certainly the risk for low visible if youre traveling through anyone of these steadier showers. All across the northeast everything is pretty scattered. Thats how it will continue to look but you can see where that cold front is that back door cold front we call it that because most fronts cross the country from west to east. A back door front comes in from east to west. You can see how cold it is in boston, bar harbor at 28. 46 here in philly. Its 65 still in dc. So that northeast wind off the ocean generates clouds and showers and keeps temperatures quite cool and right now winds are sustain about 10 to 15 miles an hour from the northeast and they will come from the northeast for the next two days. So its a damp, cool, dreary pattern. Only in the 40s out that tomorrow. The warm air is so close we just cant tap into it at least until friday. Thats when temperatures get back to the 70s. So for the overnight hours tonight mostly cloudy with showers its chilly but the temp goes nowhere tomorrow. The high only 49 degrees. Breezy and chilly with showers around so a beautiful opening day for the phillies. But their second home game not so great. 45 degrees at first pitch. Breezy with showers bring the poncho and wear the fleece under it it will be cold if youre heading to the ballpark. Thursday seam story, very chilly were lucky if we hit 50. Friday big difference. 73 with a chance for thunderstorm. The best news though comes over the weekend when we have full sunshine and highs in the 60s. Nice to look forward to that. Right.
