Todd quinones talked with a relative about the dramatic turn of events. Reporter 14 year old sandra steve and her 17 year old sisterinlaw martha were last alive by their familiar unless 1968. Last spotted here in kensington the frankford and kensington avenues the girls simply vanished. Thats my sister sandy. Her brother walter and his familiar wl told d inform a tests proved sandy and martha were identified as two previous jane does had were buried in a potters field in berks county in the late 60s. For awhile we thought maybe she was life. The girls bodies were he can humidity last fall as cold case unit with the Pennsylvania State police started looking into the jane does on behalf of sandys family. B county coroner said sandy was murdered in 1968. It was found along route 82. She had several Bullet Wounds in the abdomen chest and one in temple. Reporter body of unidentified marsha stiver was found about a year later in nearby french creek state park. The discover has brought relieve to sandys family. Her dad died in his 70s from cancer. But never gave up looking for her. Sandys mom is alive in ohio but in fragile health. Especially 46 years not knowing. Its a shame. She gets close shower now. Reporter its believe the girls may have been trying to hitchhike their way back to kansas when they vanished. The killer has never been found. Someone driving up to the machine last night on magee avenue put something inside of it before the blast. The force of the explosion was so powerful it sent debris up to 100 feet away. Well beach goers are certainly going to have to pack their patience this weekend as a result of theism 495 bridge closure in delaware. For the First Time Since it closed on monday, drivers heading to the shore got a taste of the traffic jams today. Chopper three over i95 in wilmington this afternoon. Police are di verying traffic around the bridge and aaa says that drivers really need to plan ahead. I think if youre looking at route 13 to run south or north to get to the delaware beaches or maybe to the jersey shore thats fine. If you go east through new jersey and cross the delaware memorial bridge, if youre west you can take possibly 202 to route 41 down to a route 13. Deldot is vest it gating what caused several i495 bridge supports to tilt and how to fix that problem. The platt bridge is also closed for this weekend as the final construction phase of that project begins. Crews are going to be putting a special sealant on the concrete. The bridge will reopen monday at 5 00 a. M. This is a 43 million project that started back in 2012. It is designed to keep the platt in good shape for the next three decades. New tonight, taking back the streets. Concerned Community Comes together and rallies to end an epidemic of gun violence. As Eyewitness News reporter matt rivers tells us tonights show of support was spurred by a man who was killed earlier this were on the streets of camden. All three young men all three shot to death in the last year. Friday afternoon family and friends marched through camden streets saying enough is enough. They chased them down for a couple blocks and they shot him in his back. For kerry the march was personal. Her son pete was killed right here on lincoln avenue. A member of the community actually spoke up and helped police both locate and arrest his killer. But speaking out against violence like that in camden is certainly the exception to the rule. A rule that applies to the case of Mark Anthony Gonzales killed last june. His killer still on the loose. How you feeling right now . In pain. Its not right. Reporter there were several witnesses to the crime but no one is willing to talk to police. They need to come out and talk. If they seen who shot my baby, come out and talk. Theyre actually protecting the killers because theyre letting them run the streets don it again. Today its me. Tomorrow it could be you. Tomorrow it could be anyone. Police say that they recovered videos and images on parkers computer of young girls engaged in sex. He is being held tonight on 150 to us season dollars bail. A burglar breaks no a bucks county store and steals a Cash Register and its all caught on surveillance camera. This crime happened may 20th at lous farm market in bensal bensalem. You zoo he that suspect, yank out the register, and then casually walk from the store. Anyone with information on who that man is is asked to cull police. Well the philadelphia 76ers meantime they may be moving their practice facility across the river to new jersey. Team ceo sew scott oneal confirmed in a Statement Today that the organization has filed an application for a site on the camden waterfront. Oneal says the team will have more to say about this once the new Jersey Economic Development authority finally votes on incentives for the possible training facility. And it is official. Two people in canada survived a terrifying ride when lightning strikes their truck. You can see the Truck Driving along there on a road outside of edmonton when the lightning bolt it hits the truck. The impact melted part of the trucks body. Deployed the air bags and also trapped that couple inside. A Police Officer just happened to be driving by and rescued them. The couple luckily was in the seriously injured despite that shocking video there. Also we now know the dent tough the man had opened fire on the campus of Seattle Pacific university killing one person, injuring two others. Police say 26 yeared aaron, opened fire at otto miller hall. A 19 year old man was killed. Two other young people were injured. A 22 year old man who was working as a building monitor pepper sprayed and tackled the suspect likely saving many other lives. New jersey father wants some answers tonight after he says his daughter came home from school and told him a teacher put duck tape over her mouth. An gentlemen leak henderson is third grader in elizabeth, new jersey. She says that a substitute teacher covered her mouth and the mouths of some of her friends because they were tal talking. An gentlemen leak pogging father says he would hardly believe what his daughter said. A teacher that was sworn to protect and teach kids to do something in that manner to a young kid, to anybody, you know, its im lost for words. School officials arent saying much but they do say they notified state authorities about this incident and filed a report with police. Eyewitness news exclusive now. Some parents are demanding answers after kids are served dog streets at a montgomery cun tee Elementary School at new hanover upper frederick elementary in gilbertsville, Montgomery County. On thursday the taste is something not meant for human conception much the next day the flavor of mistrust, be trail. Friday Morning School officials telling parents their children were served dog treats. I was, um, upset that someone we were supposed to trust in school and take care of would you say do that to us. The pre teen whose family wanted to keep his identity hidden is one of dozens of kids School Officials say were served with they thought was a normal cookie on thursday during recess. At new hanover upper frederick elementary by a school lunch a aid. Email sent home to parents says the treats came from pet store. In a statement handed to cbs3, the superintendent confirms that approximately 75, fourth graders in this school were handed those treats during a recess. It also says that the parttime aid who handed out those treats has been placed on administrative leave and was acting alone. I dont know what possessed her to do Something Like that. Hanover mom lynn says she was a lunch aid at the school for four years. We werent allowed to hand anything out to the kids. Report roar district Officials Say no illnesses have been reported and they are investigating but kids like lynns fifth grade son zach know the difference between right and wrong, and this was wrong.
