In a New York Times oped, the oscarwinning actress says she had her ovaries and fallapian tubes removed. Two years ago she had a double mastectomy. Since sheen shes promised to reveal details of any other procedures shes had. She wrote, quote, it is not possible to remove all risk, and the fact is i remain prone to cancer. She said i know my children will never have to say mom died of ovarian cancer. Jolie says before that 2013 surgery, she had an 87 risk of Breast Cancer and a 50 risk of ovarian cancer. Her mother, grandmother and aunt all died of cancer. And the university of Maryland Police say they have been unable to substantiate a threat made against president obamas niece. They do feel like something occurred, but they dont recall any physical injuries. And so theres some inconsistencies between what they recall and whats outlined in the article.
