New details tonight an iowa man wanted for allegedly trying to kill his adoptive mother is arrested. Authorities arresting 25year old Brandon Thoma and charging him with attempted murder. Police say he broke into Theresa Thomas home in elkader and assaulted her. She was later found by her husband and taken to the hospital. Authorities were able to identify Brandon Thoma and arrest him in madison, wisconsin where he is waiting to be extradited back to iowa. One person is stabbed following a fight with two other men in a store parking lot. Waterloo police say mark kelly took money from the victim and stabbed him in the arm in the caseys parking lot on la porte road. Police later arrested kelly after he tried to run away from the scene.
