Its been a scene of fighting, robberies, and stabbings in past years. Heres video from new years day, when the bar called police asking for assistance because no one would leave. Thats rightcassie frye had known emily for about a year prior to her death, and the two because of emilys three children. Frye testifying that she met emily at the daycare she worked at, where she had emilys youngest in her class. Over the next year, frye said the two became incredibly close, and eventually, she started officially working for the family in a nanny capacity. In her testimony, frye said growing more and more worried about the safety of herself and her children in the days leading up to her death. Emily two questions. The first one was, was she scared of alex. That alex would harm her in anyway or he would kill her, if emily thought that he would harm her or kill her. What was emilys response . She nodded her head yes. During cross examination, frye admitted although they were very close, she didnt know about emilys addiction to Prescription Medication until emily was clean and told her about it. The defense also looked to show week before her death when police were called to their home because of a dispute.
