Alexander fazzino faces first degree murder charges, aftfr his wife, emily fazzino, was found dead in their boone home in 2012. Emily is the daughter of the chairman of the board for fareway stores. Basically, the case boils down to try to prove Alexander Fazzino killed his wife emily in their home. The defense looks to show that she gave into her addiction to prescripton medicine and drown herself in the bathtub. It wasasjanuary 29, 2012 when police were called to this home in boonethe home of the unresponsive, according to court his wife was addicted to prescription medication, and she tried to drown herself in the bathtub. But the coroners report caused police to question thatit showing emily suffered from trauma to the head, including a contusion on her forehead. The official cause of death was listed as undetermined. Emily had also served alexander with divorce papers just a week prior. They arrested alexander and charged him with first degree murder. Hehelater bonded out for half a million dollars. Emily fazzino is the daughter of richard beckwith, the chairman of the board for fareway stores. The trial, originally slated for boone county, now taking place in Winneshiek County, in an effort to nearly 100 people today summoned to the courthouse for jury duty. Most of the potential jurors knew little about the case, other than that the trial was being moved here. All 75 of their cows produce milk that goes to a facility right here in dubuque. Data from the Us Department of agriculture shows people are drinking less and less of it.
