Even better news, the hospital is funding all the infrastructure upgrades along Galleria Drive including the installation of a large storm drain, new sewer line connections, a new traffic light at the intersection of stufflebeam and the repaving of the portions of Galleria Drive between boulder highway stufflebeam. Gibson road north of Galleria Drive should reopen to drivers by monday. The new traffic light at stufflebean is expected to be activated in the next two weeks and the entire project is scheduled to be completed by the middle of next month. According to ndot, the rancho drive off ramp from southbound us 95 frequenly backs up on to the main southbound lanes of the 95 freeway. Ndot plans to redesign the off ramp to include a new double right turn lane. Ndot believes the new configuration should solve the problem of traffic backing up onto the freeway. The off ramp is expected to reopen on september 15th. Finally we move to boulder city to get a Progress Report on the new i11 freeway. The project will include 15 miles of new freeway that will bypass around the south side of connect with existing us 93 near hoover dam. The new i11 freeway will be open for drivers around june of 2018 which is mind blowing to think that in less than two years, the days of getting stuck in boulder city traffic jams will be over.
