Poli ce say this man. 28yearold jose manuel bautista. Used social media to have racey conversations with the 17year old before taking her to his home. They say thats where he sexually assualted her. And they also say he was on drugs at the time. Bautista did admit to detectives that he engaged in Sexual Misconduct with the student. Police searched his home and found evidence to support this. But because the investigation is ongoing. They wouldnt tell us what exactly that evidence is. They were also unable to tell us if the 17yearold was a student that he worked with specifically. He was arrested and booked into the Nye County Detention Center on five charges including sexual assault, child sexual abuse, unlawful sexual acts by a School Employee with a pupil, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
