Later a statement from the campaign said, actually, donald trump should be given credit because he forced president obama to produce that birth certificate. So, what is the answer . Will we get clarity on that today from the candidate himself . Lets be clear on what happened here. When donald trump made that campaign on the birther issue a few years ago and the president produced a birth certificate, donald trump at that moment didnt stop. He kept talking and tweeting for years after the fact saying that he was turning up new information that the certificate the president produced was false. So this narrative they are trying to put out there this was donald trump trying to do some sort of Public Service he was the guy that took something that was sort of happening underground 2008, 2009, 2010, and exploded that on to the mainstream. Donald trump did not let up. Address this today how exactly he will phrase this. Because this is not something that he seems at all happy or eager to do. No matter what donald trump says, whether he acknowledges what his staff says on his behalf or not, it is going to be another test for the country and the media what can he get away with. Well, lets talk about the polls because theyre tightening significantly. I think thats the trend in every poll, whether it is a battleground poll or a national poll. You have a lot of democrats who are saying, do we prematurely celebrate here . Trump can really win this thing. He can win and you are seeing even some republicans who dont like trump at all saying that. Some prominent columnists. Hillary clinton came out yesterday and was very good. Were not talking much about it because of this birther thing. She came out, i think, after three days of reflection, realizing i can lose this. The only way i can win is i have to fight for it. That is a reality for democrats. Watch to see in the next few days is she consistently fighting to win this . Because if she doesnt consistently fight to win it, she could lose. Who does she have to convince ohio, florida, iowa, states like that getting very close . This is the new dynamic now. The name of the game for trump is youve got to flip blue states. All summer, all general election, he now leads in the average of all polls in florida, ohio, iowa. A Major Development this morning to tell you about involving those Samsung Galaxy note 7 phones that unexpectedly catch fire. Samsung says it has 92 reports of the phones overheating. Dozens of reports of fires. Including a garage that burned to the ground in south carolina. And a jeep that was charred and gutted in florida. Because this product presents such a serious fire hazard, i am urging all consumers, all consumers to take advantage of this recall right away. Reporter samsung blames the fires on a defect inside its lithium ion batteries which operate at a very high 4 volts. Lot of energy is stored inside a tiny little device. Meanwhile, concern this morning about other samsung models that may also catch fire. In new york, a 6yearold suffered first degree burns when a samsung core allegedly caught fire. In florida tuesday night, a car gutted by fire after another galaxy phone allegedly exploded. Meanwhile, a california man has fi second and third degree burns on his leg when his s7 edge caught fire. The cpsc says it is now looking into those reports as well. Samsung declining to comment on but it does say it believes the defective batteries are in the note 7 which are now on recall. Customers can either exchange the note 7s for replacement or get a full refund. Tom, the airlines had asked customers dont turn on the phone, dont charge the note 7 if you are on a plane. Could it be airlines say dont bring them on at all . Yeah, i think so. The faa now expected to ban the use of the note 7 onboard commercial planes. Thats no longer voluntary. Banning the use of them. The fear is that a runaway fire involving batteries onboard a plane is just extremely dangerous. Terrifying to even contemplate. Tom costello, thank you so much. Now to the frightening scene here in new york city on thursday. A man attacked an offduty Police Officer when a meat cleaver. The height of the evening rush hour. Police say officers confronted the man when they saw him trying to remove a boot from a car he apparently was living in. This video was taken moments before police confronted the 32yearold. When they approached him, he pulled out an 11inch meat cleaver and ran. After a brief chase, the suspect hit one detective in the face with the cleaver. Three Police Officers opened fire wounding him. He is in critical condition. The detective who was hit with the cleaver is now listed in also this morning, the House Intelligence Committee is urging president obama not to pardon former nsa contractor edward snowden. A Committee Report accuses snowden of leaking information that caused tremendous damage to u. S. National security. The report says snowden is not a whistleblower as he claims. A School Bus Driver in new jersey is out of a job this morning after dramatic video surfaced showing the driver swerving across the yellow line into the wrong lane to get ahead of a slower moving fedex truck. The bus company said it fired the driver wednesday night after seeing the video. There were no students on board at the time. Fedex says it is looking into the incident and police are investigating. You are the mother of two boys. Get ready for it. Im ready. Im here to help you, dont worry. We have a traditional nursery decor set up and a modern decor set up. I wanted to walk you through some ideas as youre getting some thoughts around what your nursery might look like. Youre starting off with this canopy here. This is something that was just made right out of tool. This is fabric from the store. Floral is really soothing for the baby. So, you want to stick with pastels. We have pendant l. E. D. Lights for this. One safety tip is to adhere this on to the wall. You dont want your baby to be grabbing this and it falling on them in the crib. I wanted to show this, as well. And then this is so easy to do. Literally takes less than 10 and the floral is like a floral around an embroiry hoop. Mesh lining. A lot of people dont know about this. They make these mesh liners if it rolls over to the side of the crib and you dont want to suffocate it. Make sure to invest in a mesh liner and make sure your baby has that open ventilation inside the crib. I hear after you give birth people give you a lot of flowers. You could just throw them away or transform them into something else. With the floral theme for the nursery itself. We wenwi you can press flowers and taking the bouquets that your family and friends give you when you have the baby and drying them out and hanging them upside down and this is a simple wooden plank. We hung the flowers, just with some twine and its beautiful. It also has a nice floral scent for the baby. Nice natural scent, ta. Instead of the phony tagerances. Exactly. Amanda is on our today Parenting Team member and she came up with this idea to this is a china cabinet. You can find it on craigslist and flee market and you might have one in your house. All we did here was repurpose it into a dresser which is really great because it has see through windows, of course. So you can always see where things are. You dont have to dig through drawers. We painted the backdrop a light, soft pink to match the theme of the nursery and give it that nice pop of color. I love that. Mind if i had an open cabinet like that with a ball of clothes. Organized. That is traditional and then we have a modern take on the nursery. Ill start with the wall decor. This is unusual. We used drawer knobs and turned them into the colorful pegs that you can use to hang basically anything pants and jackets and swaddles. How do you attach those to the wall . You use an anchor and change the screw and it attaches right into the knob. These costs literally dollars and you might even have some then i see shapes and hex gones and triangletype shelving is very popular. Geometric is very popular right now. I love the idea of playing it up for your nursery. Bring succulent and with greenery as succulents are easy to keep alive. While youre up late at night Breast Feeding you dont have to worry about watering the plants. Which is nice. Huge trend right nowth see a nice space saver with a corner changing unit. Nurseries are usually the smaller room in the house. Its very small. You need to maximize all the space you can. Corner changing table and is so great and comes with a hamper right underneath it because youre constantly changing your baby and it has everything you need. Fall weekends are all about watching your favorite teams rocket in chicago is here with a great onepot meal. What are we making today . This is one of my favorite dishes at rocket. It is hearty, its got some spice but it is really healthy with ingredients like chicken, garlic, green peppers, jalapenos, tomatillos, all kinds of good stuff. First were just going something really easy here. Season with a little salt and pepper. Im using chicken thighs here. I like chicken thighs because theyre just tastier. And were just going to brown them on each side which will also kick up the flavor profile a bit. Youre just doing this right here in your pot. You are going to use the same pot the whole time. Once you brown it, it will look great. Add some Chicken Stock to cook it all the way through. Separate it. You can use turkey or pork, if you want, by the way. Totally mix it up. Then you go et to your vegetables. Weve got green peppers, on yoonions, just sweat that out to get nice and tender. Then hit it with a little bit more salt. Then just add the garlic, jalapenos for a little bit more heat, cayenne for some heat. Want it to sweat at the appropriate rate and also get the good mix going. Tomatillo youre putting some spice in here. I know. We are also going to be sweating at the appropriate rate. I know. Then shredded chicken. You can use rotisserie chicken if you want to cut all those steps. Or even leftover chicken. Throw it all in. After about 30 minutes of turning the heat down and letting it simmer, now smell have everything in. Just let it go slow and low. Chicken are break up, tomatillos will break down. Add white beans, salt at the very end to taste. Thats your chili, very healthy. But we could take it to the other level. If you want to drop it right on the nachos, i have amazing game dana y nachos. Guys . Billy, you deliver. Phenomenal. You see that big nachos in front of you . Ill show you how to make it. In these nachos, jalapenos, tomatillo salsa, cilantro.
