Also breaking news this morning, police were involved in two separate shootings overnight across the country. Yeah. It has been a violent night in texas and philadelphia. Lets begin in philly where a person was killed after a gunman went on a shooting spree near the university of we have learned one of the civilians has died. According to investigators, the suspect first shot an officer who was sitting in a patrol car. He shot eight times. That suspect took off and shot five people. The gunman was killed after being cornered in an alley. Investigators at the scene found an envelope that on the outside was marked doomed. Its a bunch of rambling which indicates his hatred for Police Officers and probation officers. He does mention a particular probation officer. Obviously, we are trying to track that individual down. So a lot to figure out. But you can imagine the scare for these people who were outdoors. Again, two Police Officers shot. A man and a woman sitting in a car were also shot, and we just learned that the woman died from her injuries. The man remains in critical condition. Officers responding to a suicide call were shot. Ones in criccondition. The other suffered minor injuries. Police say the officers were called to a home when they found a man shot in the head. A witness told officers they heard shots coming from a backyard shed. The officers went to check it out and someone started shooting at them. They returned fire. A child is in the hospital. A car rolled over on i25 southbound. A man and a woman inside that car died. The child was in suffered minor injuries. Police are trying to figure out the cause of that crash. Canadian firefighters made the trip to colorado this week for a ceremony in the springs honoring those who have fallen in the line of duty. They will be going back as the victims of equipment was stolen. The firefighters had it stored. They had tents and other equipment in a trailer for the annual event in Colorado Springs. Police say it was broken into and firefighters say that gear was clearly marked so they know this wasnt an accident. Some of the items were supposed to be displayed this weekend at that memorial ceremony. Doesnt serve a purpose for anybody but us to host our families that are down here lost ones. Their family members that have given their life in the line of duty. Thats why were all here. Sadly, the canadian crews say this may be the last time they come back. Jefferson county deputies are asking for the publics help for finding a woman who may have contributed to chaotic scene in littleton yesterday. Deputies were called to the scene 10 30 for a report of a fight between a man and friday morning. Police say Jonathan Wolf barricaded himself inside and refused to come out for several hours. He was eventually taken into custody and faces charges of third degree assault. Meanwhile, deputies believe lori white was involved in this incident. She was hit eight times. Then the suspect took off. He shot two people near a bar, shot two people who were inside of a car before he was eventually cornered and there gunman was killed. Investigators say there is a disturbing letter at the scene pointing to a positive motive. Investigators at the scene found an envelope that on the outside was marked doomed. That letter that he has is a bunch of rambling, which indicates his hatred for Police Officers and probation officers. He does mention a particular probation officer. Obviously, were trying to track that individual down. Again two Police Officers d we know either again Police Say One of the people who were inside that car, a woman died from her injuries. At least one other person remains in critical condition. And in fort worth, texas two officers responding to a suicide call were shot. One is in critical condition. The other suffered minor injuries. Police say the officers were called to a home. Thats when they found a man shot in the head. A witness told officers they heard shots coming from the backyard shed. Firefighters contained that fire on friday and kept it from spreading to a nearby subdivision. It burned brush though across an area about half a mile long and a quarter of a mile wide. Crews stayed over there overnight to make sure that hot those kids thanked firefighters for their hard work for putting out that brushfire. A special tribute at the legacy high homecoming game friday night less than a week ago members of the legacy high Football Team were involved in a Deadly School bus crash at Denver International airport. Their bus driver, kari chopper, died. 15 players and three coaches were injured. One of the coaches, matt kroupa, is still in the hospital this morning. He told military officials about a phone conversation he overheard between a religious figure and someone he believes is a member of the saudi royal family. It brings the game into a realen life setting with reallife setting with prizes at the end. We want to show you how to make them. Yes, please. Reporter with the pokemon looking for ways to celebrate. That is why we wanted to show you how to make pokemon go chocolate surprises with candy and pokemon surprises inside. For this project you will need white candy melts, red candy melts, black candy melts, a silicone round mold, clear small plastic bags, spoons, candy, and pokemon surprises. I found a pokemon pack that had you will also need a small clean paint brush. First in a microwave safe bowl heat your red candy melts for 30 seconds at a time. Stir in between and heat until all of the candy melts are melted and smooth. Next put the red chocolate on the back of the spoon and start to coat inside your mold. You can use a round mold that you can get at any bakery supply store or any type of round silicone mold. Continue to do this until yo have it completely covered. Now set it aside until the first layer solidifies. Next do the same thing with the white candy melts. Heat in the mic wave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between. Use the back of a different or clean spoon to put the White Chocolate in different molds. This will be the other half of your pokemon candy ball. You want to set those aside to harden as well. Repeat the same step with the red candy melts. Layer of candy melts to make these strong. Next repeat with the white candy melts. When your round molds are ready take a knife and even it around the top. Gently work them out of the mold. When you put these together you will have your complete ball. There will be some gaps and you might want to take a knife and shave some of it off so it matches up better. Now take white melted chocolate, put it in a small clear bottom corner, get the air out, and cut off a small part of the edge. Take your first half and put in some candy as well as a pokemon surprise. Once it is ready, take the melts in the plastic bag and create a line around the gap. Let it settle for a bit and use your finger to wipe off the excess melts. Push it in the direction of the whiteside. Now, if some of the white gets on the red side, use a wet if that doesnt work, gently scratch it with a knife. Once it has dried use heated black candy melts to make a line around it. Dip your paint brush in the chocolate and start making a line. I let it dry before i move it around to the next level. I also like to use a paper towel to keep my fingers from melting the chocolate. Now make a circle with the black candy melts. Let that dry and then use your white melts to fill in the center of the they open their surprises. It looks like another powerful storm is headed that way. Again at least ten people died when typhoon meranti made landfall. Thousands of people did evacuate though ahead of that storm after meteorologists predicted it would be one of the biggest to hit that region. Typhoons are common in china this time of year, picking up strength as they bring fierce winds and rain when they taiwan was hit with two typhoons this week. This mainly affected the islands northern and northeastern areas. Members of the army had to help people evacuate. This typhoon is now headed towards china. Back in the states five states have declared a state of emergency after a Big Oil Spill in alabama. It may have an impact at the pumps. This spill has forced the closure of a crucial gas pipeline. Experts say it is attributed to fears of fuel shortages. Some gas stations are empty because of that pipeline leak. The pipeline delivers 40 of gasoline used on the east coast. The Environmental Protection agency estimates that spill at about a quarter after million gallons. They are containing it to a mining retention pond for now. On to health news.
