Judge could decide whether robert dear once called quote not grounded in reality is competent to stand trial. Dear is accused of killing three people at a Colorado Springs planned parenthood last november. In the past he has interrupted the judge, called himself a warrior for babies and fought with his lawyers. This is his second competency ruling he was ruled mentally unfit back in may. They answer calls in peoples emergency call operators are not too happy. They say theyre not being asked but forcedto work extreme overtime hours. And they say in some cases with virtually no notice. The dispatchers say its a grueling and dangerous thing to do. 9 wants to know investigators agreed to hide this persons identity to avoid retaliation. The emoy some dispatchers to work up to 14 hours a day several days in a row. The city says its working on hiring more dispatchers, but its not a simple process. For example a ticket counter. The report finds agents assigned to stations singled out passengers for questioning or searches. After they buy one way tickets or pay for tickets in cash. In most cases. Records show the agents gave the person they profiled a receipt when they took the suspected drug money. But never detained them or even charged them with a crime.
