Denver prosecutors have formally charged a woman chief eric tade earlier this week. 42yearold Marlene Rodriguez is charged with attempted Second Degree murder and first degree assault. Lakewood police think they found the man who was dressed in a santa suit when he stabbed a passenger on an rtd bus on christmas eve. The 32yearold man was arrested thursday. When Lakewood Police found him, they issued a warrant in connection with the stabbing. He had left his cell phone on the bus, but couldnt find him because he was homeless. I dont think she did as well, even four or five months ago, truthfully. Reporter this is what a normal brain cell looks like. For someone with alzheimers, proteins tangle around the cells, creating a sticky clump. That will eventually kill off the cell. But the new drug still in Clinical Trials has shown to prevent the clump from happening in the first place, therefore stopping the progression of the disease. All right. Very good. Gunnison county leaders are keeping a close eye on ice jams that have developed along the gunnison river. The ice blocks the water behind it, causing potential flooding. The National Weather service has issued a flood watch, several of them actually, several this month, after ice chunks broke off and floated downstream. The difference this time was the stream flows towards this bank, so all of it piled up in greater height on this side, with the lesser buildup on the other side. Dc, up through new york right now, and were also anticipating a little coastal flooding with this storm system as well. We have a slew of winter storm watches, warnings, advisories, and even a blizzard warning for the dcbaltimore area, stretching up toward new york just because were not only anticipating some huge totals as far as the snow goes, but the winds will be wicked out there, too. Some spots around dc, baltimore, 60 mileperhour gusts. Around 50 Miles Per Hour speeds for new york, where they could see 8 to 16 inches. But again, the heart of the storm system really stays in the nations capital. While this storm system wreaks havoc this weekend, all eyes out to the pacific northwest, where our next system is coming in from. Its going to be relatively weak, positioning itself across Southeastern Colorado by sunday evening. Well see some of those flurries pushing into the denver metro area just a couple hours before then. Further south toward springfield, still a nice day in the highcountry. Its going to be a blue bird day, after a week full of so much powder up there. 51 for longmont. 40s for the foothills. Well see it on monday, with readings only make it into the 30s. 1 to 3 inches around the metro area. This storm system moves out monday afternoon and into the evening.
