Amelia, were all here. Yes. Were in the backyard. Because it is a beautiful morning. Yes. It is really nice and warm and things are changing. A little cooler tonight, and tomorrow. More clouds around the area. And for our friends in northeastern colorado, be on the lookout for some big storms, late tonight. And what a greatlooking sunrise, we have a lot of folks call these broncos sun rises, appropriate. Broncos are in chicago this evening. I will have a forecast for you, coming up, in a few minutes, for that tt be having on the lakeside tonight. And mid60s tonight. Mid70s by 9 00, 10 00, this morning. And we will move to the upper 80s. And i am going to keep it it just shy of 90 degrees today, with one or two storms. I will put it in the 3 00 to 7 00 time period and similar in nature to the storms we have seen lately, where a couple of spots get those little downpours, but most everybody else doesnt really get very much of anything. And even as those move out, the clouds do not, because we have backside, and we are going to have cloudy skies which is really a drag, late tonight, and tomorrow morning, and that is the peak of this years perseid meteor showers. Not the only time you can see them, but it is the peak. And you can see 150 to 200 meteors per hour. The best time after 1 00 a. M. The problem is, the clouds are going to stick around. So at best, it is marginal viewing around here. Not great on the plains at all. So many storms and clouds. If you really love meteors, head to glenwood west. And that is where we will have the clearest skies in the state. All right. Sounds like a plan. We are checking in with sky 9, and they probably have the best view, in the morning rush, and i would say theyre over at i70 and colorado with really, really light drives. And both sides east and west crewing through, 65 miles an hour and a cruising through at 65 miles an hour and if you want to zip through, hit the a rollover crash has shut down areas of colorado 125, between 127 and the wyoming state line. Colorado state patrol tweeted out this picture that you can see here, the tanker truck still on its side. Working in the dark. A lot of cleanup there. I will show you where the accident took place. Further up to the north. And again, the alternates at 127, thats where the police are detouring folks. Here in town, no major problems to look out for. Anywhere across the city. And i25 and 92nd around 45 miles an hour. And the drive around boulder is really off to a nice beginning, check out the drive times, just nine or 10 minutes. And anywhere in the city is looking awesome. So far, so good. We love that. Yes. Thank you. And a man once said to not be grounded in reality fit enough it to stand trial . A judge will try to make that decision today. Robert dear is accused of killing three people inside the Colorado Springs planned parenthood november of last year. After repeated courtroom outbursts and claims that he is judge decided to send him to a Mental Health facility in pueblo. Today, he will see if those few months spent under Psychiatric Care have improved his mental state at all. The west nile virus is spiking in colorado right now. One person has died. There have been 13 cases of west nile this year. Three were confirmed in boulder county, on wednesday. The Health Department says a number of animals and west nile in 4 counties, on the eastern and western sides of the state. in 14 counties. Symptoms include fever, headache, nausea, rashes and vomiting. Very rare that it is fatal but it can happen. They are overworked. They are tired. And fed up. Denvers 911 dispatchers say they are being forced to work long hours, and sometimes with hardly any notice. Some workers say that theyre keep in mind, these are the people that callers depend on in an emergency. The head of denver 911 says they are trying to train more employees to keep up with the increased case load. But one employee whose identity is being withheld to avoid retaliation says waiting for recruits may have serious consequences. Is a mistake going to be made because were so tired . We are just so tired. Athenna butler says it has been difficult to keep up with the growing population in the city but they say they are taking steps to make sure the employees are not overworked. Butler says the city usually runs two academies a year for call takers. And it is now being increased to three. She is also working to make sure supervisors are keeping track of employees to avoid burnout. How does a gold medal sound celebrating that very day in rio. We will check in with cheryl and matt in olympic park. Quite a way to ring in a birthday. Absolutely so. A lot of celebrating here. And golf starts today for the first time, badminton and gymnastics. It is not just the sport but the personal stories that draw you in and in brazil, it is the culture that is amazing. A lot of singing and dance. And even if you you dont have a ticket to get into the park or the olympic venues, you can still enjoy experience. . The citys 6 1 2 Million People, you are going to see people. Yes. You got to dance right along with them, too. This is a place called olympic boulevard. You will find people from all over the world, getting a chance to experience brazils culture, out of the confines of the olympic park and the venues. There. Big crowds are enjoying it. Absolutely huge crowds. I mean lets face it. Are you in new york city plus. So there are going to be a lot of people. But that is part of the spirit of an olympics and coming down here for the olympics. About 6 Million People living in rio, but that area is the downtown area, the financial district, there are buildings, not skyscrapers but thats where the hustle and busle is. Pretty extraordinary. We have to wish birthday to kristen armstrong, a gold medal winner here in rio. She becomes the oldest american to win an individual gold medal at the olympics. And she didnt even think she was going to be on this team. But dont tell her she is an underdog. She fought through rainy conditions, and it was cold, and she fought against a competitor from russia who had just finished being suspended for doping. She crossed that finish line, after she won, and just happened. Her son, who is almost six, was lifted over the fence, and just ran right into her arms. And in the moment i saw lucas it was a moment where i was crying, he tucked his head into my arm and said, momma, why are you crying, you won and im like, another life lesson to teach my son is why is that we cry when were that emotional and overwhelmed with happiness and joy. She was overwhelmed with a lot of happiness and joy in and a big name in the Cycling Community in colorado. And she was retired, woking at a hospital and just getting out on her bike every now and then and started riding more and more and more and decided i think i can do another olympics, i dont have to train in four years and i can do it in shorter window, and won gold. I like the sound of that. One of my other favorite stories about kristen, is she was saying one thing that got her ready for the races, her teammate mara abbot who just first place, and right before the finish line, three cyclists passed her. She didnt get a medal at all. In the days after her disappointment she was leaving little notes for her teammate kristen armstrong, you can do this, and left it in the toothpaste holder and on her pillow and she won gold. And gary, we love that. I know were getting ready for the broncos playing for tonight. And it is a good thing we are working in a place with 47,000 tvs and we can have simone biles on one and badminton on anr a big sports night. A split screen . Olympics on one side and broncos on the other side. Yes. There you go. All right, guys, thank you very much. A 30 box. Yes. Thats what we need. The 9 news sports bar. Yes. Thanks, guys. We will talk to you later. What a great teammate leaving notes like that even if she didnt medal. And kristen armstrong, what a rock star she is. Absolutely. The question could be answered tonight when denver takes the field in chicago for the preseason game. Mark sanchez and Trevor Simeon will have a chance to show themselves. And rookie paxton lynch will is have a majority of the snaps in the second half. That is centering too. And kickoff at 6 00 tonight and watch the game over on channel 20. So marty, decent football weather, i guess. It is going to be pretty humid in chicago. The broncos may not be comfortable there. We will start with radar here. We have those showers around here. Especially down south. And then we go to the midwest. Where there is is some huge thunderstorms going on, in iowa, and wisconsin but you know what . Right now we are forecasting those to hold off, it is just going to be a hot, extremely muggy day in chicago, with storms hanging out, until early tomorrow morning. And so it looks like the broncos may actually do okay. 10 00 at night, 81 degrees. So again, it is going to be really muggy. Are you going to see these guys sweating it out tonight. Yes. Uncomfortable. You know what . I was watching the rockies last night, marty and they were talking about how they are playing in dallas today, in fort worth, and they were talking about 104 degrees, when they start this afternoon. Whoo. Beautele. Thats hot. But we brutal. Thats hot. But we need a win. Yes. It is Hillary Clintons turn to talk money and give her pitch to create more jobs in the u. S. And her opponent, makes a the man in the oval office. We are breaking down the latest from both camps today. All right, here is the medal count, as we are about halfway, through the olympic games. And another day of domination for the United States in rio. Wednesday. We lead both in total medal and gold medal. And americans have won 11 gold, 11 silver, 10 bronze and 32 total. Next closest country, china, with23 total medals and 10 a few clouds over the area right now. Same is true in rio. Denver. And 66 degrees right now, pretty good beach day. A little on the cool side. Most of the venues today, forecast with highs in the low 70s. Not really anticipating much rain in rio or surrounding areas though. We are going to see some thundershowers offshore. Today one. Cooler days of the week. They had the cold front come through yesterday, with the rain showers. And low 70s for a couple of days. And then it starts getting really hot for early next week. Of course, with track and field gets going, that could have humid throughout the midwest, heat advisories in effect there. And we have a few showers down south. And up north, with a bit of a dry spot. In western colorado. Monsoon has been disrupted slightly. And we will continue to be so for the next couple of days. So a few storms here and there. Here in the front range. Not very many. They move through and out. Between 3 00 and 7 00 p. M. Those folks that get rain are generally looking at less than a tenth of an inch of rain and mid80s to near 90 for our daytime highs, with 70s and 80s in the mountains. And now in western colorado, it is really not going to be all that much going on, except up north. We will get some nice thunderstorms going on, from the Steamboat Springs area, cutting through grand county, and then as things go on to the planes, it is way more humid, and way less stable, and i think that is where we could see some big thunderstorms, during the evening tonight and the temperatures there in the 90s. And 80s and 90s out west and here for the front 70s in the mountains today. Not quite as stormy in southwest colorado today. And partly cloudy, afternoon storms, and zip on through here, during the afternoon and evening. And however the clouds, will not leave us tonight. In fact it stays cloudy tomorrow morning. And saturday morning. And we are still going to hold any showers off, until the afternoon. And both of those days, and maybe a storm in the foothills, on sunday, but we start drying out on sunday, and begin that warmup, into early next week. And sky 9 is now over our at 225 and yosemite. Already a backup forming southbound, southbound of parker and tapping the breaks between dtc and tamarac and speeds are dropping down into the Single Digits here. And out we go to the maps and the cdot cams, a pretty view across the city with a nice easy start and everywhere in denver, 25 and colorado in the greens and highlands ranch, 225 and the Commerce City corridor is looking really nice. If youre waking up downtown and heading south, you have a 14minute ride to and travel times around c470 and 11 easy minutes and definitely in the green. And same for 225. It is a 10minute stretch northbound. Between 25 and 225. And it is bright and sunny out there. And this guy, the sun, is back again. Isis is honoring president obama. He is the founder of isis. He is the founder of isis. Well, that was the latest but will it impact his already dwindling poll numbers in the race for the white house . 9 News Reporter Tarhonda Thomas joins us and donald trump known for making pretty outrageous claims and last night no exception. Bold claims to say the least. President obama finding isis, so far that claim has not gotten a response from the white house. It has not gotten a response from Hillary Clinton, either and in the past, trump has accused her of founding the Extremist Group and also criticized centens work as secretary of state in the claim about president obama during that rally in florida. The founder. He founded isis. And i would say the cofounder would be crooked Hillary Clinton. Cofounder. Crooked Hillary Clinton. So trump has criticized Hillary Clinton for having the father of the orlando nightclub shooter behind her during a hes catching flack for having the former congressman mark foley behind him, during his speech. There he is there. Foley was forced to resign after allegedly sending sexual emails to congressional pages. And now, trump is also still getting criticism for his comments on Second Amendment supporters and Hillary Clinton. He says he was trying to suggest that they use their power by voting. But clintons camp says trump was encouraging violence. Now, his casual violence. Every single one of these incidents shows us what donald trump simply does not have the temperament to be president and commander of chief of the United States. One more twist. In todays race. The latest, the conservative group is looking at more of Hillary Clintons emails. They say some of those emails show that the Clinton Foundation sought favors from the state department, while she was secretary of state. Allegations. Corey . Oh, man. All right. Tarhonda. Thank you. Appreciate the update. Lots of drama. A lot of drama to say the least. 6 20 right now. 21 stories up but nothing but suction cups. Why a man says he decided to try and climb up trump tower. He shattered so many olympic records that it is kind of hard to keep track of them all. But the one Michael Phelps broke on tuesday might have been the most impressive of all. 6 22 right now. We know the name of the Police Officer involved in a deadly Training Exercise in florida. Such a tragedy. Lee cole is off the job this morning, he and mary knollton were participating in a should dont shoot exercise in a shoot dont shoot exercise in punta gorda florida and the guns in the drill basically shot blanks but when cole his, knollton was shot and killed by a live round. She was killed. And he is on leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates. A 20yearold man said he needed to talk to donald trump to he tried to climb up trump tower in new york. He made it all the way up to the 21st floor of the 68story skyscraper, using suction cups. And thats it. And thats where police opened a window and grabbed him and pulled him inside. The man from virginia posted a youtube video, saying he wanted a private meeting with trump to wow. With just suction cups. 21 stories, up there. He is probably lucky they pulled him in. Even as she struggles in rio, Missy Franklin is proving to be the best teammate ever. She is just kind of re writing the rules of our sport right now. Who says that the favorite swimer to watch she is talking about the favorite starting to see the monsoon weaken a little bit, especially in west central colorado, and the humidity levels are going to be diving very low, during the afternoon, and still in the northern mountains, and over northeastern colorado, as a front comes through this evening, and thunderstorms and north of i70 and mountain areas and ug afternoon, but really more this evening, after 6 00, and some heavy rain, and we could also see Severe Weather in the form of large hail and damaging winds. And mainly from greeley, to the east, stretching all the way out into kansas and nebraska. Thank you, marty. 6 27. And we have our first highway crash of the morning drive, and most parts of denver are clear. And c470, 225, 6th avenue, all looking great. But as we zoom it in to the north side, we have a southbound 25 crash. Reported near northernton to 112th and 14 minutes is the drive time from e470 to the i 70 merge and a live look at 92nd avenue as you make the approach to 84th. Amelia, thank you much. If you saw a whole bunch of people show up at your house without permission. You would be pretty upset, three months ago, he wasnt mentally fit enough to face the justice system. And now, he has had treatment. The planned parenthood shooter, is he ready to stand trial now . The postseason, the post peyton season, begins today. That is true. The broncos face the bears tonight in the first preseason game and we could see a big question finally answered. And Michael Phelps breaks another olympic record. This one is as old as the games themselves. Cool. And ts and they will continue to cool down, as we get closer to the weekend. All right. Marty coniglio joins us now, he is out in the 9 news backyard, and marty, the weather change begins what, tonight, i guess, huh . Late this evening and thats going to kick off, with the big thunderstorms, and not so much around here, though we will get a couple of isolated storms, over the Eastern Plains, and it looks like it is going to be an extremely busy night for Severe Weather and looking out over us right now, partly cloudy, and we will thin some of these clouds, going through the day. About 10 00, we will begin to see a little bit more blue, and a little less gray in our skies. And plenty of storms over the area yesterday, and great shot, from melissa, over aurora, huge rain shaft there, and those little scalloped clouds on the backside of the storm, called mimodus clouds. Today, showers in southeastern colorado. Some light rain going on across i80 in wyoming. These rain showers continued to weaken over the southEastern Plains during the morning. Mid morning, we get clouds moving back in, we are going to get that three to 7 00 p. M. Period of isolated storms here, and not really anticipating Severe Weather here. And thats more off to the east. And after the storms come through, clouds stay with us, and the clouds stay with us, through the night, into tomorrow. And you guys are just talking about the broncos, it is hot, in chicago today, and they have thunderstorms off to the west and they look like they will stay, off to the west, tonight, field tonight, starting in the mid80s, and staying in the low 80s. Thank you, marty. Checking in with sky 9. The helicopter flying over 25 and colfax with a smooth start. Ramps as well as through lanes on our highway drive here, are looking pretty nice. But as we take a look at the maps, we have a different picture, out to the north. And there is a big backup forming southbound 25, as you 84th 112th toward 84th avenue. And southbound 25, near thornton parkway. The backups now 16 minutes from the drive coming from the north side. In the red, that means washington, huron, are great alternates. And zipping you through. Paralleling i25. The rest of the denver drive, totally quiet. Picture perfect across the freeways. We have a problem up to the north. This is the fact that colorado 125 is shut down from 127 to the wyoming state line. To be under way at least for the next several hours. So keep it in mind if youre traveling to the north. All right. Amelia, thank you much for that warning. Three months ago, a judge ruled that he was mentally unfit to face the charges against him in a court of law. They were going to find out today, if time spent in a Mental Health facility in pueblo has changed things for the admitted planned parenthood shooter. Dr. Maxwell will join us in a minute to talk about the treatment that the shooter has been going through and we will Tarhonda Thomas and tarhonda, the shooter has gone through mental multiple evaluations through the november attack. The rounds have been complete and we will find out today if they macys made a difference. They made a difference. Robert dear has admitted to the shooting in the planned parenthood last november and since then we have seen a string of bizarre outbursts in court from him. And twice he has been deemed incompetent to stand trial, most recently in may. Today his lawyers will be back in court to discuss the results. A judge will determine if in fact the shooters trial will begin and he is facing 179 charges, including murder, and attempted murder. Now, he spent the last three months undergoing Mental Health treatment at a State Hospital in pueblo and 9 news psychologist dr. Max is here to talk about what could happen next. And dr. Max, what sort of treatment do you think he might have been getting . What happens when someone is taken to the hospital . Yes, psychiatric treatment, meaning the medications and the medication management. And he may or may not be cooperating with that. And he will also be receiving what is called restoration to competency treatment. And so he will be meeting with individual therapists, and with group therapists, to learn the kinds of things that they might need to learn in order to make it through a trial, to be able to use that information, to make good decisions about your legal case. And so he will be learning a how likely is it that he could be deemed competent after being deemed incompetent twice, and how do you flow if a person is not know if a person is not faking incompetency . The faking thing is pretty easy to catch in pueblo, because the people there are being observed 24 hours a day. Basically. So competency evaluators will meet with him, and do very formal evaluations but get a lot of good specific information about what the person is like on it in, in that hour and a half long evaluation, it is going to be pretty obvious, because their behavior is going to be really different when theyre interacting with their peers or with staff members. And most people who are deemed incompetent are later restored to competency. So it is highly likely that that is going to happen. It usually takes a few of these 90 day cycles. Competency evaluators are somebody every 90 days. What if he is deemed incompetent again today . Does this just keep going . Where he keeps going back to the hospital . When does it end . It can keep going forever. Honestly. The way that the law is written, a person can be held, you know, and considered incompetent for the maximum length of the sentence that the person would receive if they were found guilty of all of their charges. And 179 charges, that is a really long time. I mean in this case, it would be for the life. Forever. What would be more likely to happen is that eventually, an evaluator would say i dont think that he is likely to be restored, in the foreseeable future, and then the judge has an issue to figure out, what do we do with this person. The latest twists and turns. Dr. Max, thanks for breaking it down. We appreciate your expertise. Incredible insight there. Thank you both. One of the men accused in an attack on a middle schoolteacher at his home faces a judge today. And they have been looking for him, since may. When police say he and three other people burst into a home in golden looking for cash and drugs. They went to the wrong house. And instead, they came across a middle schoolteacher and his family. And the homeowner and one of the suspects Kayla Williams got in a fight and stabbed each other. And both of them survived. A former cu student convicted of rape is spared hard prison time. The Boulder Daily Camera reports yearold Austin Wilkerson to probation and work release and he will be able to go to school or work during the day and he was found sexually assaulting of a victim half conscious during the rape. Two men are suspected of burglarizing a home, caught on video, off ham street and 66th, just off of wadsworth boulevard. Police say they took a laptop and police pulled the footage from those businesses. If you recognize either one of these men, call metro denver crimestoppers. You could get a reward. You dont have to give your name. 6 39 right now. Another hero, and fellow coloradan, has died, fighting isis. The family of jordan mctagart says he was killed fighting alongside Kurdish Forces in syria. The details surrounding his death have not been released. His parents say that he went to fight not as an americbu made clearminded well researched decisions to go. And mctaggart is the second coloradan reported killed while fighting with the Kurdish Forces. 24yearold levi shirley was killed in july. A single typo saved homeowners across adams county, a couple of bucks. The cost to the county, though, was 1. 8 million. It saved about 7 for all of the Property Owners of a 265,000 home, say. And the cost to the county, a bunch of revenue. We took the typo to an adams county spokesperson who said it was a simple human error. And said nobody lost their job. And in the long run, the county will be able to recover the lost money. The county has new oversight procedures, we are told, to catch future errors like this. Around here, we news viewers. And this is one in many. Casey, with this great shot from fort colins. That is actually a double rainbow from yesterday. And moderate tree pollen going right now. And Everything Else is low, as we go through the day. And the temperatures in the mid to upper 80s early on with a couple of storms, late in the afternoon. Or evening. And we do get a few storms, mainly afternoon storms, and cooler readings, moving into this weekend. Again on sunday. Marty thank you. Michael phelps does something no one has seen in a very long time. Like a long time. A really long time. Like 2,000 years long. Thats a long time. She is a competitor and fan. We will talk to Colorado Swimmer Missy Franklin about who she loves watching at the you may have seen a few meteors. You can get meteors at the perseid meteor showers, a peek, and the peak though tonight. It is the best time after the moon goes down. It sets at 1 00 tomorrow morning. It could be a 150 to 200 per hour. Here is the problem. A lot of clouds in parts of the state. Especially central colorado. And the Eastern Plains and i would call us marginal for seeing meteors around here. The best shot at seeing some meteors will be Glenwood Canyon to the west, and down into southwestern colorado, where we think skies will be completely clear. And here in the front range, you might be able to see some, but i would say less than ideal conditions. Less than ideal, for the perseid burst. Get outside. A busy start across 70 and brighton. All volume delays as we peek out to the east. No crashes along i70. Totally different picture from yesterday. And 225, quiet. C470 is looking good with a light slowdown forming at quebec, approaching i25. Mapwise, a few new issues to look out for, including a crash at 17th and vine and i point this one out, not because it is going to cause a big backup, but this is a car versus three parked cars, gary, so if youre ng and vine, you may want to head outside and check your vehicle. That doesnt sound like a good situation. All right, thanks. 6 45 right now. And Michael Phelps, is passing the torch to a new leader in usa swimming. Of course, katie ledecky. In the last week, she has become a household name. She has now won her fourth gold medal in these olympic games. And she is almost a sure thing for a fifth. Cheryl and matt join us once again from rio, and guys, she growing really fast, i guess. She is on a tear right now. She certainly is, gary. Just consider getting maybe 10,000 new twitter followers in a matter of days. She is incredible. She has now won more gold medals here in rio than any other athlete in any sport from any country. It is always nice to hear from your fans. Yes. But sometimes the greatest accomplishments are when you hear from your peers about how great youre you, matt. You are doing a fantastic job. Out of the blue, even. Unsolicited. Thank you. So nice of you. So we asked Missy Franklin, who does she love watching to swim right now. Honestly, katie. I mean it is so hard not to jaw drop whenever katy ledecky swims. She is just kind of rewriting the rules of our sport right now, which is so awesome. Whenever she swims, it is so dominating, it is just like oh, last night. Missy swam in the prelims to get team usa in the finals and she had the second fastest time, but like she said, she is just fighting her way back, after a really tough start to the week. And some people may not realize that because missy did swim in the prelims to get that top seed, she is part of that team, and wins a gold medal as well. And so it it is the fifth gold medal for Missy Franklin. And now, Michael Phelps, i would say, he is doing very well. Yes, i think you can safely say that. And he has tied a record, an olympic record, that is 2,168 years old. He has tied the record for the most individual olympic titles, that record set by leonidis of rhodes. And he was a sprinter, a runner. Which was impressive and even more so when you realize he was running in a helmet and back then. A helmet and shield to train. And things have advanced a little since then. And athlete does some crazy stuff to take care of their bodies. We beat ourselves up daily. Yes, those Beach Volleyball players, they are working hard. They really do. They do some fun stuff out on the court but it is is really what they do to take care of themselves if theyre injured or recovered from their training, and that includes cryo therapy, a go to take extreme measure, chilling measures if you will to be ready to compete, like getting into a chamber of liquid nitrogen. It touches the surface level of the skin. And it is that liquid nitrogen mist. It triggers your brain into a survival mode if you will. It gets the body to release protein. Collagen. Endorphins. Flushes out the lactic acid. And all of the stress and stuff that our bodies tend to hold on suffering from inflammation. Chronic pain. Migraines. Arthritis. It wipes it it out. And brook says it is only three minutes but it does a lot for the body. She says it has helped with her rehab. All right, that sounds less than comfortable. Yes. I will try just about anything. So i jumped into that thing. And you strip down. And you jump in, and then it is a really pleasant mist of liquid nitrogen that nobodys business. They just have you wear socks inside that thing. And i say no thank you. Socks and a smile. Thats about it. And you know, it is an interesting story at olympic park here out of tongua, you remember in the tonga in the olympic ceremony, so many people were talking about the gentleman from tonga who became an internet sensation. Overnight. Well, because of one picture, this one young man is entire economy. They have had a huge uptick in the people searching this Little Island nation, and booking trips to go visit. And it is a strange coincidence that right now, we are also hearing that it it is not just tonga that is seeing the spike. We are also hearing from the denver chamber, right . They are wondering what in the world is going on . There is an influx of people just rushing to denver. Apparently, this is breaking news. We didnt know it. But there is a second tonga, a gonga, as were calling them today, and who was in that Opening Ceremony. All hashtag baby oil or Something Like that. Oh, yeah. Looking good, gary. Oh, man, you guys, im telling you, someone tweeted mean when you tweeted it earlier, how did you slide into the Opening Ceremony . Hashtag baby oil. He stole that line from matt. Exactly. You guys are too funny. Hey, thanks. We will talk to you later. Good job. Wow. Too much. Football season is here, broncos fans, and football preseason, anyway but hey, it counts and the broncos are in chicago to take on the former denver quarterback jay cutler and former coach john fox and the bears, and all eyes are on two guys, matt sanchez and Trevor Simeon, the two are battling for the starting qb role and whoever plays better today would be well on the way to securing the first string spot. The broncos are 87 all time against the bears and beat them in chicago in november of osweiler as the quarterback. You can catch all of the action on channel 20, tonight, our coverage begins at a special edition of broncos tonight, at 5 30. And then kickoff is at 6 00. Drew, rod, and mike, will have a full recap and highlights of course, from the matchup on 9 news at 9 00. After the game. And it is sometime to show your broncos spirit.
