That snow that started in the high country last weekend helped push the number up to 118 . All this could be good news for colorados reservoirs come spring. The snowpack is great at this point. The reservoir levels are looking great with the exception of a few minor basins. But otherwise, in those areas, the snowpack is pretty high. Be drawn down easily in anticipation of the snow runs off. By the by, february is one of the months with the lowest snowpack accumulation before it goes up again in march and april. There is a Health Emergency in florida because of the zika virus. The governor made the declaration this afternoon after nine cases were detected in the state, all believed to have detected the disease traveling to infected countries.
