And what happened just after the shooting but does not show the shooting itself. Theres obviously a big concern among Community Members here and demonstrators who want to see the Police Dashcam video as well as the body camera video. And when that will be released is still up in the air. There was some protesters and demonstrators out here in front of the omni hotel which is where the 26yearold was shot wednesday night. Succumbing to his injuries but this evening decidedly different atmosphere here, smaller crowds and so far, it has been very calm. [ chanting ] reporter protesters taking to the streets for the fourth straight night in a row in charlotte after Police Involved shooting earlier in the week. Demonstrations were peaceful for the most part and in stark contrast to wednesday night. Video released by keith scotts family shows the moments just before and right after his death. Dont shoot him. Dont shoot him. Reporter scotts wife pleading for his husband, begging police not to shoot him. The actual shooting cannot be seen but you can hear Police Firing four shots. Then you see scott lying motionless on the ground. Police say scott failed to drop his gun. His family along with many demonstrators insisting he didnt have a weapon. Police are still withholding the dash and body camera footage of the shooting from the public. In action garnering national attention. I think if they put out the film, and North Carolina maybe we could resolve this thing a little faster. I dont know the laws in North Carolina and i hate to interfere, but from the point of view of combing the public, i sure would like to see it. Reporter and there are a few bicycle cops out here right now. Just keeping the order. Obviously the curfew went into effect a little over one hour ago. Actually a bicycle officer just fell off his bike. So some of the Police Officers rushing over there. But as i said the curfew went into effect over an hour ago. Looks like all is calm. Not using any force, these officers. They seem to be handling the situation quite well. Last night the crowd eventually dispersed only three arrests last evening. No word yet on number of arrests if any this evening. But it looks like police are up to the same tonight, just waiting for these crowds to go home. Officer betty shelby is facing a firstdegree manslaughter charge for shooting and killing 40yearold Terence Crutcher a week ago. The attorney for officer shelby says she was in fear for her life. But the victims family and prosecutors pointed to the police video showing crutcher with his hands up in the air. No weapon was ever found. New attend an accident in Mountain View involving a self driving google car. You can see the google owned lexus with a crumpled passenger door there. His name is sergio and he owns a Mexican Restaurant in santa rosa. He is quietly making a name for himself not just with his food, but also with compassion. Ktvus Debora Villalon tells us about the difference that a single burrito can make. Reporter a Restaurant Owner for 20 years, sergio ochoa has sold more meals than he can count. He works really hard. Reporter downtown santa rosa is across from a park very popular with homeless people. Its not a scene many roster runs would welcome but ochoa doesnt just live with it. He embraces it. But when ochoa looks across the street he sees need. So when hes working six days a week, hes watching for people resting in the park or passing by who could use a burrito. Easy to carry. Andre starks was last seen by family members leaving his house on laurel avenue back on tuesday morning. They say he never returned home. 57, 140, and has a tattoo of a vine on his right arm. As the investigation expands to a second county, 68yearold paul kilgore arrested in Sonoma County but weve learned more than two dozen calls have come in from people suggesting they are victims or know of one. People who are adults now but were children in the 70s when the suspect worked in youth programs. For generations of san bruno families park and recreation programs have been a staple and safe haven. But at this weekly concert in the park longtime residents were talking about how trust may have been betrayed decades ago. He was a year older than me. So i think he works for the rec for a couple years before i got there. He spent a career in the Rec Department and remembers working with paul Duane Kilgore now 68 and jailed on suspicion of ongoing child sex abuse. Kilgore was allegedly seen and overheard with two boys aged 10 and 12 in the hot tub and locker room of a Sonoma County health club. When quizzed, those boys said kilgore often took them on outings and their parents trusted him as a mentor. A search of his house and storage unit backed up their claims of molestation. We felt he was kind of grooming the kids he would take out. So we found some evidence that corroborated that. He was a basketball coach at the local catholic school. Rec leader. And i dont remember when he moved away. Somewhere in the 70s i think. Reporter police are digging into kilgores work history. By 2002 he was settled in sonoma and working as Athletic Director at the boys and girls club. Three years ago when extracurricular contact with kids was banned, kilgore quit. But current management claims there were no hints of inappropriate behavior. You never really know but we were fortunate there were no incidents were aware of. Reporter within days of kilgores arrest a dozen calls to police. And now a dozen more. Many of those from people in san bruno. Who remember kilgore from his time at park and rec and may have gone on excursions with him. So many years ago. Back then didnt seem so weird. I dont know why. Bill frisby says people would not have been suspicious then but are more aware now. I would say i definitely. Back then i didnt think about it. I dont know back then whether it was just a different time, different world. Reporter paul Duane Kilgore is in jail on 1 million bond and any potential victims are urged to call their local Law Enforcement so they can be added to this expanding investigation. Brian barton is accused of warning a teenage sex worker about prostitution stings in exchange for sex. Button is one of five officers criminally charged in the scandal linked to 19yearold Jasmine Abuslin and hes the first to appear in court. His Attorney Says button is married with children and graduated from the Police Academy just last year. The type of person that is remorseful for some of the decisions that he made. What we hope for this first officer is that he will also talk about the practice and why he is not the only one. Also today the Richmond Police department announced nine of its officers are facing internal discipline in connection with the scandal. So far none none of those officers have been charged with a crime. More on the story we first brought you last night about a Police Cruiser involved in a highspeed chase. That chase ended with an accident that snarled traffic to the san mateo bridge. The family of jeffery chambers says it all started when he severed suffered a breakdown and crashed his car. Paramedics were treating chambers when Police Arrived and officers say chambers suddenly jumped up and got into a brandnew police car that was idling nearby. The chase hit speeds of up to 100 Miles Per Hour and ended when the police car crashed into three other cars near the san mateo bridge toll plaza. Family members say the 28year old is not a criminal. Part of him knew he was doing something wrong. Hes just just he just needs help. Thats all i can say. He just needs help. This is the second time a Hayward Police vehicle has been stolen this year. It is considering outfitting its entire fleet with new equipment to prevent this kind of incident. To attend graduation ceremonies were held in San Francisco for new class of police cadets.
